Today I ordered home delivery from my favorite Safeway Store in Towson . The lol

Today I ordered home delivery from the Towson Safeway Store . I took advantage of the free delivery promotion . My food came in a couple of hours and was fresh and well packaged . The driver did a good job lugging the bags to my door .

So I got steamed shrimp from their seafood counter... which they must have steamed for an hour or do. Most overcooked, leathery shrimp i've ever seen.

Expired lunchable that I bought on 11/9

I cannot tell you the amount of times I've purchased something from Safeway and that week, at home, found out it was +2 month expired. These people have no respect for their shoppers and clearly do not monitor their supply for safety. I've bottom expired ranch, cream cheese, lunchables. And if you order your groceries ahead for pick up, they go out of their way to give you the stuff that's about to expire. I had 2 separate things of bagels that molded IN TWO DAYS. DISGUSTING!!

Picked up this rotisserie chicken for dinner on 5/28 , came home to find it raw

Picked up this rotisserie chicken for dinner on 5/28 at around 530, it had just came out from the deli. Came home to find it still very much raw (see pic). Called customer service to let them know as I'm sure many people were picking up rotisserie chicken for their families for dinner and this is clearly unsafe. The lady on the phone just said can you bring it back in- no apologie or shock like this has happened multiple times. Highly concerning.

If you are in the Towson area near the lunch hour be sure to stop by this particular Safeway location. I absolutely love the wing bar for a quick lunch. I am in sales so I don't have a lot of time to spend so I grab some baked chicken with a few wings and I love it. They have a variety of wings but I like the spicy hot ones. This location is really convenient because the beltway is only one half mile away. Give it a try you fellow wing eating fanatics

Terrible service. Inconsistent attendance at self checkout. Understaffed or no staff at customer service. Go elsewhere!

I had been looking to find strawberry coconut cult yogurt. I saw online that they sold it. I made a call to the store before I arrived to make sure they had some in stock and they stated that they did. Let me tell you as soon as I stepped inside this marker I knew that I was in for a treat. The appearance and cleanliness of the store sold me right away. Yes the did have the coconut cult in stock. They had some other items on sale at the time so I gave them a try as well. The bacon and wings happened to be b1g1 free. I couldn't pass it up, as well as a crab cake and also some shrimp. This was an exciting shopping experience. This was my 1st time but, definitely won't be my last.

What a delightful surprise to find that at the Deli counter, they had a selection of over 7 different entrees and 6 different sides - all freshly prepared and looking delicious. My husband decided on 2 generous-size portions of Flank Steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and an arancini. In addition to the Bistro Meals, they also offer a selection of prepared Sushi at $5.00. I decided on the California Rolls, which was 10 rolls with fresh ginger and wasabi. The Bistro Meals are quick and easy. You just take them home and heat them up - no fuss, no muss. So, if you are looking for an inexpensive dinner for a Thursday night - go to The Fresh Market - you will not be disappointed.

I did pick up extra items that were not on my list. I eneded uo getting papetowels, Cuties (tangerines) just to say. I was grateful for the help in the can good aisle and the baking items aisle. Each person took the time to assist me in finding my items. They truly did take me to the shelf and pointed out my items. They didn't point and say over there like most store clerks do. I am grateful that they eased my anxiety. I was a little disappointed that the canned sweet potatoes were not the size I was hoping to find like the large fat canned greens. I probably would've found them in Shoppers, but I thought all markets carried them. Check out was easy. I used the self-checkout, since there was no long lines there.

I prefer to checkout using a cashier and wanted to get out fast since I had icecream. Well I ended uo choosing the wrong one. Well while I was moving up in line, another cashier took the guy behind me. What I do use Eddie's for is there emphasis on local items as well as their fancy cakes. I prefer this location as I have had much better luck dropping in and finding specific cake flavors and like that there is an actual parking lot versus a tiny garage. I will purchase local kombucha, coffee and vegan ice cream sometimes at Eddie's. I like the selection they have, especially of Zeke's coffee and Wild Bay kombucha. For the bakery, I go to Eddie's because they have slightly fancier cakes that can be picked up at any time (don't need to pre-order). Of course, you can pre-order, which is advisable, because you never know what they will have in stock. For my wife's last birthday, I grabbed a raspberry and chocolate cake which the bakery employee offered to write a message on at no extra charge. What a cool service! Eddie's has a decent selection of gluten free and vegan items. I will peruse them but don't usually purchase because of the price point. Anyways, Eddie's is cool and I will definitely continue to visit on special occasions. The prices keep it from being a regular grocery destination.
