There were a ton of produce and fresh food options that I saw as well, even though we didn't purchase anything from those. I never caught the cashier's name, but she was a shorter, dark haired lady and was so so nice! She talked to me about my wine option and reassured my choice was a good one! I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. The vegetable produce section appeared to be very limited. Two days ago I went back after my son mentioned how great the prices and selection was. I went all through the store and by the the time I finished shopping I had a full cart with lots of fresh veggies, dairy, canned and frozen goods ect. My favorite shampoo was half the price that I'd paid at Safeway a few days earlier. I was really surprised at the low cost and good quality when I finally finished checking out. The staff was very helpful when I asked questions and the lady at the check out was very efficient and friendly. This market is definitely going to be my favorite place to buy groceries from now on.
