I received a phone from the plumber. Caller ID said William Flynn, but when the plumber arrived, his name was Jaime Contreras. When I asked why the name on caller ID was not his, he only said he bought a new phone. After 15 minutes here, merely looking at drain pipes, he said he had to go to Ace Hardware to buy supples, needed a check for $435 made out to him. Because my townhouse is inside a secure complex, entry is only via either a security desk in a tower building or via a locked gate that is unlocked with a fob, he needed to borrow the fob to bring equipment through the gate. The fob was on a ring attached to house keys. He left and never returned, Hr PE would not answer the phone from me or the company (they claimed). I kept calling. They promised to call me back, but never did. The owner refused to speak with me. I was told his name is Eugenio (or Cortez. Now, the disappeared Jamie has my house keys, so I have to change locks, but also has the fob that would allow him into the complex. -- The company is a scam. The total charge would have been $640. Roto-Rooter came Sunday morning for less. The address of the company, said to be on Cottage Grove Ave., does not exist. I give the company an F.

Picture it, It was around 7:30 PM in January (Today) and it is starting to snow and drop cold! Well I called the "other" heating company I worked with for many years, yet I was told by the Manager: "I am at home and it will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon". Ummmm, I have an elderly mom who cannot wait until tomorrow, so I got on YELP, called some friends and again Claudio Heating was recommended since its not far from me and the guy was honest. Extremely happy I did, I love YELP, and as an Elite 11, I take it very seriously! Mr Claudio (yes the owner) was extremely fair with pricing and wasn't looking to kill me financially (mind you I just paid mortgage) and his estimate was not even close to what I thought I would be paying. I was elated and proud to say that Claudio Heating and Cooling are now the pride of my Heating Business from now on. I can't say enough on how the comments really stand up to his capabilities and honesty! One guy was a flat out scam artist and tried to frighten me with tales of disasters. I'm in my 70's and have lived in my house for 35 years. I didn't fall for that and I think it was because I'm a little old lady. Called several and either they wanted money just to come out or they said they couldn't do it. These guys answered thei phone and came out later that day. They took a look at the job and went out and got their tools. it took several hours but they fixed the problem. Kenneth and Jamal were excellent workers. They also were very informative as to what needed doing. they quoted a price and went to work. After they were done they gave me a lower total than what they originally asked. I was very pleased with their skill and professionalism plus they were bright and helpful.
