NOW. the guy from an hour earlier walks in and loudly proclaims how he has the "'Itis" from lunch. loud enough that i, the person who feels like crap and is waiting on these medications to make me feel better, am pretty freakin annoyed. that's the guy that's standing between me and wellness? and with that exclamation he pretty much made it clear that his lunch break was way more important than making sure that the pharmacy is being run efficiently and effectively. super unprofessional and rude as hell. i gave two stars because the two women who were in the prescription weeds behind the counter managed to get my meds out in 5 minutes, even though they were answering phones, manning the counter, and working the drive through while their male counterpart talked about how lazy his lunch made him.

Since then, CVS automatically refills my prescription even though I have had them removed from my file at my doctor's office. Their automated system "grabs" my refill and notifies my insurance carrier so that it cannot be refilled by my preferred pharmacy. This should be illegal. I have contacted my doctor and they said they removed CVS from my file, but they can't control CVS doing this. I am truly at wits end. I have repeatedly tried to have my account with CVS closed and they say they've stopped, but they clearly won't, because I get a text once a month saying they have refilled my prescription and I have to contact my doctor to have it stopped and a new prescription created. It's a nightmare!!

This…read moreWalgreens is at the corner of Belleview and Broadway, across the street from Williams' jewelry store on the Broadway side, and then there's a Star bucks across the street on the belleview side...that star bucks used to be a mc donalds/ now it's just an empty-looking starbucks. There are Two ways to get in/out by car; Do Not try to exit Left onto Belleview I see people Attempting this and ...please just Do Not exit Left onto belleview from here; use the Other way to exit which is behind Walgreens on Broadway, and you can make a right on Broadway and then turn around if needed by using any of the multiple side streets as you head North on broadway. If you need to get headed the Other way on Broadway (South), then First turn Right out of the back of the store, Then make a left at any of the street lights, turn around, then you are headed South on broadway and you can make a right or left on Belleview if that's what you need to do. The Other Walgreens on Belleview (not as good at all and pretty sketchy IMO) is at the corner of Prince and Belleview, near Federal and a few dozen fast food restaurants. Do Not use That Pharmacy you have been Warned by Me about Not using that pharmacy; also, as I stated before it's a sketchier atmosphere in general and the staff seems anxious/on edge heck I would be too if I worked there at that one on the corner of Prince and Belleview. This Walgreens has friendly/helpful/calm people working there; I have been living a mile away for nearly 20 years so I think I'm kind of qualified to judge, since I've been in here probably no less than a hundred times over the last 20 years. They have a drive-through pharmacy which I have never used but it seems fairly busy . If you use that drive-through, what are you going to do to exit by car? Yes, you are going to go Right onto Belleview, OR you are going to go Right by exiting in the back onto Broadway. If you need to go LEFT/ East or South (left), you exit Right onto broadway, then make a left at any of the sidestreets off of belleview, turn around and there you go. You can also use the Walgreens App to get more discounts and you can use points on the app and they will usually deliver quickly like within an hour but don't try it after three or four PM / do that earlier in the day. I don't know about pharmacy delivery I've never used that feature but if I did I would put in my order EARLY as possible in the day; do not wait until it's a crisis or emergency and you'll probably be upset if they don't have it or you have to wait a while. The phamacist/staff have to call the MD office to verify details, especially with a new rx/and or/if it's a controlled substance. This store looks old and beat up but is generally clean. Meaning no disrespect, I've noticed that…read moremost of the employee's attire is indicative of low income. The few employees I've dealt with were pleasant enough although a few don't seem too happy. The customers at this store are generally low income or elderly but I've been told that they did away with those black hand baskets because they were being stolen if that tells you anything about the area. During busy times, lines form down an aisle which blocks access to certain shelves. Even with all the self-serve registers open, they rarely open regular registers when this happens. And lastly, I can't tell you how many times I've been hit in face with cigarette smoke while entering the store both from customers and employees on a break. A truly off-putting smell. Being a caregiver to someone that lives nearby is the only reason I shop there otherwise I highly recommend the Broadway and Mineral store. Or the location on Broadway and Littleton Blvd in a pinch.

They've always been helpful working out what Phx coverage would work best (for instance you can't use Medicare AND Good Rx together-it's one or the other and the Good Rx is the best price for 2 out of 7 of my Rxs).
