Apologies... I posted this on the other Walgreens down the street after it happened. Meant to post it here... based on a visit 10/31: I went in for vaccinations the other day and the pharmacy staff was lovely. Walgreens site had been double booking so they've been running behind. The girl who I spoke with first who checked me in was super apologetic and sweet. Answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely sorry for the inconvenience. Turns out the wait wasn't even as long as expected because they worked very efficiently. The gentleman who gave me the shots was super friendly and upbeat which I was incredibly impressed by since they are probably dealing with disgruntled people all day due to the scheduling conflicts out of their control. It was very refreshing. My husband had a scheduling error on the website but they were still able to accommodate so he didn't have to go out of his way to come back. I'm very pleased with how the pharmacy staff handled everything, keep up the positive attitudes! It makes a big difference. Thank you! read more

This store doesn't even deserve 1 star. My wife scheduled an appointment for immunizations at 4:15 today. When she went to the pharmacy she found it CLOSED ... now this isn't the first time has happened to us. Back in October my wife came down with Covid and we attempted to pick up a prescription and at that time found the whole store closed at 4:00. I don't know if this is a problem with this particular store or Walgreens in general but we are looking for a new pharmacy. Personal opinion but you'd be crazy if you continue to use this pharmacy or this store! read more

I scheduled my booster and flu shot online for 12, I arrived early as instructed, and waited till 1235 until i received my shot The woman next to me had an appt at 1130. She arrived before then, and was finally called back at 1225. The tech was great once I got in the room. read more

Drive thru not working and they claim it's broken!!! Now there are 2 locations near me with drive thru shut down. This is unacceptable. If not fixes within 2 weeks my family and Mother's all prescriptions will be transferred out of Walgreens. My #1 requirement is a drive-through since my moms prescriptions alone I'm here weekly. read more

Once again, this Walgreens, specifically the pharmacy, is outstanding. I've been filling time-sensitive scripts for almost a decade (here in Denver and in some of the biggest cities in the country). You don't know what a long wait time is until you're super sick. The employees at this location are always kind and helpful when you can get through to them via phone (and in person) - if you can't, that's not really their fault. Pharmacies have been insanely understaffed since 2020. If you don't understand economics, or how to structure a basic sentence in English to write your negative review, that's also not Walgreens' fault. I'm just grateful they continue to take care of me. read more

I recently switched to Walgreens because my mom's medication came from Wal-Mart nearby that is closing. Basically, I waited in there for close to 20 minutes and pharmacist tells me it could take over 24 hours to fill her prescription. The only reason I was upset is because I called them ahead of time and my mom needs her medication. Besides the pharmacy, I am only giving the extra star because the rest of the staff are very nice. I may visit there again, but not the pharmacy. Gotta give a shout-out to my friend Pat who is usually behind the counter or doing passport photos. You are a gem! read more

The pharmacy at this location has no social distancing, no professionalism, and customer service. My doctors called in a prescription at 9am. I called at 9:30 to verify the prescription. I arrived at noon and they told me it would be 20 minutes to fill the prescription. Meanwhile, the lobby is over filled with people waiting. It took 30 minutes. read more

The pharmacist is the rudest most uncaring "medical professional" I've ever encountered. I don't care if she was busy or not. When your in this line of service you should understand that when people are there ,it's usually when they don't feel to great, are sick or are in pain. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Their prices are exorbitant, a prescription I literally need to LIVE is over $400 dollars here but less than $10 dollars everywhere else. I went to this pharmacy in September for my Covid vaccine in the evening during a really busy time. The staff was so friendly and calm despite how busy and hectic things were. They had a huge line and people were stressed trying to get meds. Both the pharmacist and the techs were so calm and understanding to each person. I would definitely recommend using this pharmacy!! read more

I have been using this pharmacy for twelve years. Today was about the 12th time I've been in where the staff errored, but blamed me and became hostile in the process. Stay away if you don't want staff at Walgreens yelling at you and becoming aggressive. read more

I've had several bad experiences the past year with getting prescriptions filled. But the latest is very frustrating. I tried to fill a prescription the doctor wanted taken within six hours. So I specifically asked when I dropped it off if they could fill it - they assured me they had the medicine on hand and would have it ready within an hour. Knowing their super slow history, I waited four hours to go back and get it. When I arrived it still wasn't filled and said it would be the next morning before they would have a pharmacist to fill it. read more

I take ADHD medicine which is already a pain to fill. This location has now, on TWO separate occasions, said that they are filling my prescription and given a pickup time and then when I arrive at the time THEY told me, I am told not only is it not ready, but they don't even have the medication on stock. Walgreens told me that they have no idea when additional medicine might arrive, and they don't know what Walgreens might have the medication because their logistics system is completely unreliable. Then Walgreens told me I'd have to call each individual Walgreens in the area. Walgreens HQ must have heard and took action. The action they took however, was adding another step on the call in system. Now instead of waiting for 10 minutes to talk to the pharmacist, you wait 10 minutes to talk to someone who's only job is to tell you they're going to transfer your call to the pharmacy, and to wait another 10 minutes. I'm at a loss for how stupid this company is. If you want a more reputable drug store, strangers in alleyways would be more trustworthy and reliable. read more

January 25, 2021 1/26/2021 District Mgr, Brittney C. is investigating the store/pharmacy. Walgreens 11605 W Belleview Ave. My Rx was ready today. I went to the drive-through, having experienced cold-like symptoms last week. I wanted to pick up my Rx with minimum exposure to Covid-19 in store. Although I had waited 15 min for the previous car, pharmacist asked me to go to the parking lot as they did not have my Rx ready. First the pharmacist said I should return later in the afternoon. When I said that was not an option for me and asked them to process the prescription as I waited in the drive through. They said it would take too long and asked me to go to the parking lot and wait. They said it would take 10 min. After waiting 15 min I watched several drivers leave the drive-through and going into the store for their prescriptions. They were served quickly in store. I walked into the store with a mask. I talked with the manager, Vicki, to explain I had a simple request: my prescription. Chris Cobble, from the Pharmacy, walked up to me and told me to leave the store. The manager, Vicki, walked me out of the store and had me wait in my car while she then said their computer had crashed and they needed my credit card. I asked why the delay and drama. Time spent? over an hour. Insanity reigns. Kindness, not at all. read more

I had to find another pharmacy after rite aid closed but this pharmacy is not customer friendly. Maybe if I had not had such an amazing one before, I could stand it, but no I can't. Every process is geared for them and sad part is they just don't seem to care, because they told me they have way too many customers! Now they have 1 less. read more

Pharmacists here are 100% incompetent jerks. They're completely unprofessional and rude and have zero customer service skills. I am transferring my Rx's back to my old pharmacy even though I've moved about 15 minutes further away from them. I have used many pharmacies over the years. The entire staff at the Belleview and Prince Walgreens, including the pharmacy, go out of there way to be helpful. Unfortunately, their job is often a thankless duty. I have witnessed, more than a few times, irate customers taking out their frustration on a Walgreens employee, simply because the Individual cannot fix an issue caused by the customer's insurance provider. I've never had a bad experience at this location. However, tonight, they went above and beyond and I wanted to share my experience to give them the recognition they deserve. My youngest daughter, woke up at 9:45pm with a horrible cough and fever. She was coughing so bad, it not only woke her up, but caused her to throw up. I went to get her some medicine from the cabinet and noticed we didn't have anything for fever / cough. I quickly threw on shoes and headed to Walgreens, knowing it was cutting it close to them closing for the evening. I arrived and parked at 10:00pm, and was walking up to the door just as she was locking them for the evening. I raised my voice loud enough for her to hear me through the glass, and asked if she could please allow me the opportunity to simply run in, and just grab a fever reducing cough medication, for my daughter. Without hesitation she opened up the doors and let me in. THANK YOU, to the on duty manager, who put my daughters wellbeing over her own needs, family and desire to end her day! I now have a sleeping child, fever and cough free, who will be able to get some comfortable rest tonight! read more
