Back in October my wife came down with Covid and we attempted to pick up a prescription and at that time found the whole store closed at 4:00. I don't know if this is a problem with this particular store or Walgreens in general but we are looking for a new pharmacy. Personal opinion but you'd be crazy if you continue to use this pharmacy or this store!

I was told to give it 3-5 days for compounding but it is scheduled to ship on Monday. It wasn't delivered to the post office until Tuesday, wasn't accepted by the post office until Thursday, and not delivered until Saturday in a postal unit box in 90+ temps. When I opened the packaging, the ice packs were very hot along with the semaglutide being as hot. The packaging had even been crushed. I explained this in the text message conversation and was told to call so they could better assist me. The only assistance I got was a cocky young lady in pharmacy who told me a story about how someone locked theirs in a trunk for 7 days and the efficacy was acceptable. It just reduces the life of the product. This after we've been consistently told to keep it refrigerated. I'm frustrated because they want us to reach out to our politicians so they can continue to make such products and then treat their customers very poorly!!!! When I suggested that maybe I should go back to brand name, she responded, "Ok, bye!" I'm not paying these prices for reduced life of product. It isn't cheap.

This…read moreWalgreens is at the corner of Belleview and Broadway, across the street from Williams' jewelry store on the Broadway side, and then there's a Star bucks across the street on the belleview side...that star bucks used to be a mc donalds/ now it's just an empty-looking starbucks. There are Two ways to get in/out by car; Do Not try to exit Left onto Belleview I see people Attempting this and ...please just Do Not exit Left onto belleview from here; use the Other way to exit which is behind Walgreens on Broadway, and you can make a right on Broadway and then turn around if needed by using any of the multiple side streets as you head North on broadway. If you need to get headed the Other way on Broadway (South), then First turn Right out of the back of the store, Then make a left at any of the street lights, turn around, then you are headed South on broadway and you can make a right or left on Belleview if that's what you need to do. The Other Walgreens on Belleview (not as good at all and pretty sketchy IMO) is at the corner of Prince and Belleview, near Federal and a few dozen fast food restaurants. Do Not use That Pharmacy you have been Warned by Me about Not using that pharmacy; also, as I stated before it's a sketchier atmosphere in general and the staff seems anxious/on edge heck I would be too if I worked there at that one on the corner of Prince and Belleview. This Walgreens has friendly/helpful/calm people working there; I have been living a mile away for nearly 20 years so I think I'm kind of qualified to judge, since I've been in here probably no less than a hundred times over the last 20 years. They have a drive-through pharmacy which I have never used but it seems fairly busy . If you use that drive-through, what are you going to do to exit by car? Yes, you are going to go Right onto Belleview, OR you are going to go Right by exiting in the back onto Broadway. If you need to go LEFT/ East or South (left), you exit Right onto broadway, then make a left at any of the sidestreets off of belleview, turn around and there you go. You can also use the Walgreens App to get more discounts and you can use points on the app and they will usually deliver quickly like within an hour but don't try it after three or four PM / do that earlier in the day. I don't know about pharmacy delivery I've never used that feature but if I did I would put in my order EARLY as possible in the day; do not wait until it's a crisis or emergency and you'll probably be upset if they don't have it or you have to wait a while. The phamacist/staff have to call the MD office to verify details, especially with a new rx/and or/if it's a controlled substance. They're fast but also so welcoming and still so fun to talk to in the short time I see them. They were very patient with my returns and could tell that they were very locked in on their work with the drive ups going off 3 times at once I learned after I asked what the beeping was. And after the beeping went off I saw them run in the back room and out 30 seconds later with a cart running outside in the 90° weather, I could tell they're very commited to their job. It is very obvious that the management must not be in place correctly. When you go to a restaurant , or typically any other corporation store, most employees seem happy and excited to be at work, here, it's the complete opposite. I have been going to this building to get medical attention for 6/7 years now, and only recently…read morestarted using the GEM pharmacy inside. Due to a change in my medical insurance, I was forced to stop using the pharmacy I was originally going to, which made me try out the pharmacy inside the building. To my surprise, they are SUPER friendly and very helpful they make sure that I get all the prescriptions that I need, and they're very careful about overfilling or double filling prescriptions. I have not once had a problem with them, and they make me feel more welcome than any other pharmacy I've been to. For example, I have neck hand and arm tattoos so lots of pharmacies and even pharmacists have poorly judged me thinking I am just trying to get drugs, causing a delaying in getting my medication. After going to this pharmacy for about 2/3 years now, I feel as if they are my friends and I can come to them with any and all inquiries or questions. I get excited just to be able to say hello to them and see how they're doing, just how I feel they do too. I would recommend anyone to this pharmacy. There have been times they don't have enough of my medication, but they are very good about ordering it and having it ready for pickup the very next day. I plan to keep coming to this pharmacy solely because of the welcoming environment the pharmacists create. I am not one to write reviews but they definitely earned one from me. 10/10
