Everywhere you look it says - you will be scheduled for your 2nd dose when the first dose is administered. ‍ I questioned them and they said no. They didn't tell me what shot I was getting - I had to ask. They didn't tell me about any potential side effects & when I asked they said please refer the huge pamphlet we just gave you. They gave me the shot and said ok you can go. I asked - aren't I supposed to wait - they said wait in your car and if you have a major reaction please come back inside This is the RiteAid that serves the "other side of the tracks" in Antioch. When I took my mom to Pleasant Hill they explained everything. Thankfully- so I know what to expect. Like right now I'm icing my arm (which is what they told my mom to do). But at least I have my first shot - who knows if I'll get my 2nd dose ‍. I wasn't left feeling very confident. And also, can they please clean that place - it just felt dirty there. Pretty huge store with almost all the items you'd need to purchase. My vaccine process was also pretty quick with the people being the pharmacy being very warm and kind. For the first vaccine I had to submit my documents and they made me fill a form. Then the doctor/ nurse came out and got me injected within minutes. Four weeks later, for the second dose, I just had to present my vaccine record card & they again made me sign a form asking about my medical conditions and reactions from the 1st dose. That process was really quick too & I was feeling just fine. After both the doses, they ask you to wait for about 15 mins so that you don't have any immediate reactions (which I believe they would've helped incase happened). Overall great experience at this rite aid! Go get vaccinated!

This Walgreens is about a medium sized store. It has a Photo Dept, Pharmacy, and Drive-Thru Pharmacy. It's a clean, well stocked store. I found a big bag of cough drops for $7.99. But at 5pm, it was a bit short staffed with one cashier, and one person in the Photo Dept. The line got pretty long, and the photo clerk had to come help by opening the 2nd cash register. One strike is all they get. I just don't have the mental capacity for CVS to make my life harder. I had a refrigerated medication prescription come through to them on Friday. Today is Tuesday. I came on Saturday to pick it up, as it showed ready in my cvs app. I come down, wait in line, and was told that they couldn't give me my prescription because they had refrigeration issues. I said a call to let me know would have been considerate. Then I was asked to wait to the side to talk to the pharmacist. I wasn't causing a scene, I just wanted to know WHEN I could get my prescription and why they didn't give me a call to be considerate? The pharmacist and a tech both looked at me like I was there to raise hell. I wasn't. I was still being polite. I just wanted to know WHEN I could get my medicine. I asked the pharmacist if he could please call me when the prescription arrived. He took down my number. I found my prescription to show ready today. Would have never known had I not checked my app. Pharmacist never called. Nice. I also saw there was a second prescription transferred in the same date as my original medication- sitting in the app, unfilled. I have no idea what it was. But I click to fill it. Just in case. I get to the pharmacy this morning, wait in line, then was told my second prescription isn't ready. I ask what it is. Oh it's an accessory that goes with my first prescription, the medication won't work without it. I ask then why tf was THAT never filled? Why did I have to do it? And what would have happened had I not seen that in my app? You would have given me a medication that wouldn't have been able to be administered? A blank stare was what I received. Of course he doesn't know. Of course no accountability. I wait 10 minutes, get back in line and wait. Finally I'm outta there. Unless you're on top of your own medication being filled, skip this pharmacy. You can't trust them to do their basics and have some consideration of you and your time.

Not only were they closed before the posted hours, but they also had the audacity to tell customers that they had to be fully out of the store by 9:57 PM and that the register had to be fully counted during store hours. This is a blatant lie and a complete disregard for basic customer service. If they can't keep the store open during posted hours or manage their staffing and operations properly, that's their problem not ours. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I'll never be returning to this location. I hope CVS takes notice and addresses this unprofessionalism.
