I like that Trader Joes always has a huge range of international cuisines, smaller portions so you can try things out without committing to it, new and seasonal products, and affordable prices. Their dried fruit and nuts section is great. The bad: There are some beers but no hard liquor but this is a standard CO thing. Since TJs is originally from CA and I normally shop at the CA locations this was a bit of a downside for me. The interesting: The parking lot here is pretty big because it's shared with other businesses and because it's Colorado. The CA TJ parking lots are mostly always tight and small.

There's also another wonderful cashier named Keith he's very calm and easy going and always has a smile for everyone and I just love interacting with him and Jane every time I go through the cashier aisle they are both wonderful employees so kudos to management for having people that are really good with customers and take their time. I also want to compliment a gentleman named Jay who keeps the store Immaculate always cleaning sweeping getting the carts from outside just always very personable and just very sweet-natured. I don't know they seem to have some employees there that just have very good personalities and are very very nice people. Just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you for having such a clean and well organized store and such great employees, it's always a pleasure to shop there. If I could make a suggestion can we please turn down the music a little bit, I prefer a much calmer shopping experience that's relaxing and not overstimulating with loud music. I know you can't please everyone.

I was checking out with a gift card and the clerk could not figure out how to process it for payment, which was fine because she called her manager for help. This is when the horrendous customer service began to take place. The manager who was a young caucasion male, with short dark hair and a baseball cap ran my card and told me that it was no good and had no money on it at all. I knew that there was still money on it and he was also horribly rude about it and refused to come to any sort of solution or comfort me about the situation. I had to drive clear all the way over to the other nearby location and sure enough, there was still money on it and I was able to purchase my B-12! Thank you to the Hampden and Wadsworth location for actually being nice, and knowing what they were doing! I won't be back to the Kipling and Coalmine location until this young man is gone! But I do still think that his staff does a good job!

At the time I went, right after work the parking lot was full. But fortunately found a spot within walking distance. They also have a few giveaways going on so be sure to check it out! My favorite spot in the store is fresh fruit as I stocked up on some peaches. But I remembered to have a list so I don't just buy everything I see. Stocked up on pasta, and snacks for the pantry. There were a few registers open and seemed to move smoothly. I signed up for the rewards program and the lady was patient with me. Also I revived a few free items; grocery bag, cockles and chips. All and all a good experience!

I'm not sure how difficult it is to select the fruits and vegetables as if you were selecting them for your own family or yourself. I have to write, in instructions (or notes) that they need to select the freshest item, describe what not to get (like no mushy apples). All of this should be pretty common knowledge. I order groceries because I have difficulty getting up my stairs to carry them in. I'm to the point where I've had to request several refunds to date. Short date on milk, poor selection of produce... I don't want to keep requesting refunds, although they have been good about refunding me. Since I can carry light items up my stairs I'll continue to purchase produce in the store. I'm uploading the rubber celery video. Should be common sense that celery it's crispy right? The only thing I could do was laugh about this rubber celery. I didn't ask for a refund. I suspect it's my fault because I didn't use the notes section to describe that they should select "crispy" or "fresh" celery. I'm not sure who's doing the shopping. Their non produce items are 98% good choices. But you do have to request fresh or long out date items in notes. Not every shopper knows that milk shouldn't expire 4 days after you get it. In the meantime, the rubbery celery has been fun to play with. I just bounced it off the wall and see how far it rebounds.

Came back today to use the gift cards and one was swiped and then he tried the other one. It wouldn't take it. After several tries I suggested me putting the $10 gas and he could charge the other amount after. No go. 20 minutes and a phone call to his manager later, I could pump the smaller amount of gas. But my main gift card was declined and they claimed they put the money back but it would take a while to show. So now I don't have enough gas and don't know if the money will actually go back onto the gift card. It is so frustrating. The associate was trying and I was calm but it's upsetting to not know if you'll get the money back and to now have to go to another place for gas.
