The cashiers are super nice but the bakery is a joke! Very often in the morning like 8 am they have no fresh bagels. When I ask about it they treat me like an annoyance and say their Baker didn't come to work. I might buy that lame excuse once or twice but not as frequently as I hear it at this Safeway. This morning I bought an assorted bag of day old bagels because they had no fresh ones, again. Got to work and realized it was an assortment of blueberry and garlic bagels. Gross! All the blueberry bagels had a garlic taste to them so I threw them away and wasted my time and money. What person with common sense would mix garlic bagels with fruit ones? I have always liked Safeway, because of their fresh produce, & wide assortment of groceries. After tonight, I'm not sure I'll be back.... I bought almost $200 worth of groceries, & my cashier coughed & hacked the entire time she was checking me out. After pulling her mask down & wiping her nose with her hand, I asked her if she would please use some hand sanitizer, to which she asked me to repeat myself, as she looked at me, annoyed. She finally found some hand sanitizer at another station, & snipped at me that it was just a common cold. A common cold?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! You know you're sick, yet you chose go to work & expose all of your customers to your germs by touching every grocery item they purchase!?!? And even more disappointing is that the Safeway management allowed this!! I'm having surgery in 5 days, & if I get sick & have to reschedule, you better believe I will never step foot in this store, again!! Complete disrespect for their customers!!! read more

Sale Prices and Delivery Sucks!!!! I tried the online shopping with delivery service this week. I shopped on Monday, was actually really happy as they had all my items that I needed on sale. Went to schedule delivery and all the Tuesday delivery times were taken, so I had to have it delivered on Wednesday. All the sales roll over on Tuesday night, so the groceries I bought on Monday that I thought were on sale and would be delivered on Tuesday, were actually full price items again when they delivered them on Wednesday. WTF - Really - they don't honor sales prices when you purchase the items?? read more

Windy day, cart blown and damaged car. Cart corrals full (took photos), so lots of loose carts. Granted, they state "no liability", but local manager tried to get corporate to help, asked for estimates, etc. A year later, corporate finally replies "not our problem". read more

Their prices are higher than King Soopers, so not my first choice. However, when I don't want to take the time for Costco....their milk is a fantastic deal!! Less than any other store when you buy two. :-) read more

We do all of our grocery shopping at the Parker Safeway, but for me, the stars of the show are Zach and Amy in the pharmacy. I could use an online prescription company, but the personalized service I receive at the pharmacy is the best! My husband does the grocery shopping and everyone knows to expect him bright and early every Sunday morning. read more

We just found out the hard way, but don't *EVER* buy "Blackhawk Network California"/"MetaBank" branded Visa gift cards from Safeway. This "company" is apparently a spinoff of Safeway, with multiple consumer complaints against it (https://blackhawk-network.pissedconsumer.com/, amongst others). A family member purchased a $100 gift card for me that gets declined any time I attempt to use it - despite their website telling me that the balance is still $100, as well as the card and website both stating, "Your card may be used in the United States wherever Visa debit cards are accepted". Basically unusable and we're out the $100, and their customer service people simple shrug and tell us nothing they can do. All reflects incredibly poorly on Safeway, which we'll be avoiding like the plague after this lovely interaction... read more

The safeway staff here is always so very helpful and very polite. The people in the Starbucks area are very polite and prompt and make the best effort to go above and beyond service. It's clean and very organized. read more

I have been going to different Safeway locations for over 14 years and find it disappointing to see such terrible customer service in Parker. There are two incidents that I was shocked in the way that I was treated. The first incident that I remember is a women cutting me off in the deli line. She didn't say excuse me or anything. I felt as though she thought herself of being better then me. The second event happened on 9-11-2016. I had a few items that I needed to get so I stopped into Safeway. I had to get a small milk which was on the back wall of the store. I would say that this individual was a manager and he was standing in front of the door I needed to open to in order to get the milk. I politely said, "excuse me". He didn't move or even acknowledge me..: I said it once again and he moved... But he only moved forward, the door doesn't swing all the way out so I still couldn't get in. I once again said,"excuse me" and this time I just shoved my way by. After I got my Milk I walked away and headed towards the cashiers. Now if the milk incident would have been it, I would have given it a little higher of a score. But what really discussed me was the cashier. This employee was having a conversation with a customer ahead of me. Which isn't out of place, what made it uncomfortable is that he was making comments like "yeah, they are coming here and taking our jobs, once we fix that problem we all can have good jobs". He would look over at me when saying it. I couldn't believe that this cashier was saying this thing. As I moved up in the line he said" here we go". I was pretty frustrated in being treated so poorly that I quickly paided and left. I want to advice those that shop at the Safeway in Parker to stay away. The employees there seem to think we are less and are disrespectful. I rather go to Kingsoopers and be in a crowed store, than be in a store with disrespectful employees. read more

Since it's sale to Albertson's the entire place has changed, Sat on the phone for a department response for fifteen minutes, called twice. No one ever picked up. Brands have changed mostly to inferior products. Produce doesn't meet the Safeway standards. Absolutely no reason to shop here anymore. To many other choices in the area. To bad, we have been shopping there for 17 years. read more

The "fresh" sushi counter needs to up their game, since most local grocery stores carry it now, and King Sooper beats this Safeway hands down. At prime lunchtime (so not late in the day), the rice was dry, as if it had been made many hours before. The eel/unagi was stiff like rubber, with some sort of crusty skin left on that just about made me gag. Obviously they didn't take care in trimming it, just slosh some sauce over the tough slab and call it appetizing. Almost the same for the salmon. I choose salmon a lot at sushi places, and know it should be almost "buttery," but theirs was rubbery and somewhat stiff (although at least not as bad as the unagi). The maguro was a bit more palatable, but still the same "I wonder how long ago they put this together" character to it. And all the while, a sweet Asian girl hovering over me telling how fresh it was. I'm a regular Safeway customer (although not in Parker), and most of the Safeway stuff is very nice. But if you were thinking about picking up some sushi here on Parker Road, think twice. read more
