Made the mistake of stopping at this location as my wife and I were doing business down here. I agree with the most recent customers posting about rude employees, especially the cashier my wife experienced. Also, aisles are extremely narrow especially when employees from the bakery stand there pointing at empty shelves then having to ask them to please move so you can shop the aisle. Thirdly, the store was out of a LOT of what we needed, and we both saw more employees with name tags standing around shooting the breeze than stocking. We saw a total of three employees actually restocking areas. Finally, we picked up multiple loaves of specialty bread (Izzios) and every loaf was wet? Why? If it was rain yesterday why can't you wipe the water off? I knew when I lived in Parker why I never shopped at this location... read more

Usually I use the self checkout but today I saw that a cashier was available as he was finishing up with a customer. I asked for a price on an electrical outlet because there was no price tag on the shelf. Changed my mind on purchasing the item because of the price. The cashier was not happy about that. Both the cashier and bagger were not welcoming or pleasant. Service is not a strong point here it seems. Found what I needed so that was fine. Parking in shared lot. read more

The aisles are extremely narrow, and employees using large carts to pick online orders often block most of the walkway without much awareness of customers trying to get through. It makes shopping feel cramped and frustrating. The store WiFi also hasn't worked in a long time, which adds to the inconvenience. On top of that, the parking lot feels unsafe drivers often speed through to catch the light, and it feels like pedestrians could easily get hit. read more

This place has gone downhill in the last eight years! Most people who are working here are rude except the lady who works in the cheese dept. She is very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, one person cannot make up for the majority. I have lived here for 25 years and shopped here the first 17 years. Great bakery. You can get a dozen donuts as fast as you can walk. The Team is so courteous and helpful.

It never fails, every single time I go in the store they overcharge at the register. They do not check their signs. They leave signs up from the previous week and don't honor the price. The signs are incorrect and they have not ever fixed it. I've lived here for 25 years and seen this store. Go down the tubes. I do everything in my power to stay out of the store. What a horrendous excuse for a grocery store and I'm originally from Cincinnati so I am familiar with Kroger. I was overcharged twice for two items that I should have received but they were not provided to me when I picked up my items - instead of receiving the two ham steaks $10.00 the picker tried to give me 2 whole hams $80 that I had not paid for. I instructed him to take the items back which he was surprised by. Instead of being crediting the amount of $10.30 when I went into the store, I was charged again $10.30. Charged $20.60 now for items I never received. I called the store manager, Matt, and spoke to Liz at Picker Supervisor. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I was given a number to resolve the issue, and all the number did was try to sell me things - marketing. Then I was given a URL to request a refund. And now I have been refunded $10.52, but I am owed $20.60. This store needs to make it easier to do the right thing. It has cost me over an hour trying to resolve and it is still not resolved and I will still have to go back to the store to be refund the correct amount. I highly encourage you to read this review. Let's first acknowledge that right at the 4 year mark reviews for this store have plummeted - probably because that's when they stopped caring? However I still come in and shop regularly as the store is within walking distance. The staff and managers are rude and this store is very inconsistent. I'm tired of something being fully stocked one visit and then gone for a week the next time I need it. One time I tried to do a pickup order instead of having to deal with the people there and they gave me strawberries that barely lasted overnight and avocados that weren't ripe for another few days. King Sooper on Lincoln in Parker, Co: The way the aisles are set up makes no sense to me and I've been shopping here for 2 years. Then they took down the overhead directories, which makes it even harder to find anything. I suspect that some young marketing yahoo decided that if we can't find what we need, we'll wander around and pick up things we don't need. Not me. Every time I set foot in this store I regret it and remember why I try to avoid going there. They are always out of everything, although there were helpful employees that did find a few things for me, I couldn't get everything I needed because most of the shelves were bare. I had a cart full and was FORCED to use self check out. Being forced to use self checkout for $400 worth of groceries is unacceptable. read more

Buyer Beware! When a consumer enters the store, there is a stack of 'personal watermelons' with a sign indicating $1.88. However, when you scan the melon, at the checkout the price is $4.39 because the consumer is required to scan a 'special' code from an app in order to receive the discount! The $1.88 sign for the melons is in VERY LARGE numbers, and the special code is in very tiny numbers! Also, the price of cherries is over the top expensive as compared to other grocery stores. Yes, we walked out without purchasing any items. In addition, during another visit, we ordered a Starbuck coffee, and the young female worker was carrying a rubber floor mat back inside after cleaning the mat outside the Starbucks entrance. She proceeded to lay down the mat behind the counter and continue to make our latte without washing her hands! I asked her to please wash her hands with soap and water! read more

This King Soopers is strange and by far has the most poorly run deli I've ever been to. The deli department seems to make their own hours and open & close whenever they feel like it. The employees are also SLOW and it reminds me of the DMV sloth scene on Zootopia. I went in around 9am one day and the deli employees said they weren't open yet. Then I went in around 7:30pm on another day and the deli was completely dark and no one was around. What is going on with this place?! Today I went around noon and there happened to be employees working, yay! The issue this time was that I ordered my deli meat "sandwich" sliced (choice #3) and it is the thickest cut I've ever received! I got 1lb of sandwich meat and there are less than 10 slices bc they're that thick lol. There is no consistency with both the hours of the deli and sizes of the slice. The employees stocking the shelves are equally as impressive. One of the regular employees I've seen yelled to another one that he is smarter than the average woman. What is that even supposed to mean? This guy is so lame that I couldn't even get offended at what he said. He's there every single time I have gone there and you'll know it's him bc he speaks way louder than everyone else and fails miserably at being funny. read more

The employees are great. Spencer at the front desk has a positive attitude on life and you can feel that. He makes sure you are well taken care of. I cannot think of the other person, but he always says hello. When I had my first back surgery, I could not lift a 12-pack of Dr Pepper. He was nice eough to come ovrt, load the cart, and take them to my vehicle. read more

The cottonwood King Soopers in Parker seems to make a habit of overcharging. Happened again yesterday on a couple of items. Never seen them undercharge, which makes me suspicious these may not be mistakes. I've heard similar experiences from friends and family. To make this worse I caught it in the self checkout area and I pressed the need help button. Waited a bit but no help. I walked to the attendant and asked for some assistance and got a flippant "what am I Superman?" response as he walked away. No clue what that meant other than he wasn't inclined to assist a customer. So possible price gouging and terrible customer service. I expect in the future I'll remember to drive a bit further to shop elsewhere. read more

I have purchased 24 oz bottles of BodyArmor water regularly over the past weeks. After consuming the first bottles I thought this was a fluke, but is not. The water has a plastic smell and taste and will never purchase again. I suggest this brand of water be investigated and removed from shelves. Yulk! read more

After the remodel it's has just gotten worse. The aisles are so narrow that two carts barely pass - so they add a floor display to make it impossible. Today there were no carts so you had to go fetch one in the parking lot. Stock outs are a common occurrence. Finally get to check out and it's 4 or 5 carts deep - nothing like waiting to give someone your money. The clerk did let me know I had 600 fuel points - but the two other gas stations (about 200 yards away) are both 30 cents a gallon less. Until a worthwhile competitor moves into Parker, I would suggest driving 7 miles north to the King Soopers on Cottonwood. read more

Since the front page review for this King Soopers location is from 2 decades ago I will post this updated review... 1. Customers have to check out their own groceries almost always. 2. Their staff is miserable, severely underpaid & completely willing to openly tell that to their customers. One employee told me the only place that pays lower in Parker is the Dollar Tree & he looked everywhere. 3. The people who work the self checkout are noticeably irritated when they need to help people, esp. Debbie when it comes to cigarettes. 4. They are out of stock regularly making them unreliable and have a minimal selection of what they do have. 5. For whatever reason their bread does not last. It molds before the use by date most of the time. It's not a regional thing I only notice it at this store. 6. Their pickers do not show courtesy to their walk-in customers. 7.There are rarely enough carts, especially the smaller ones. Seems like those are mostly used by employees and not available to customers. 8. The restrooms are disgusting & often out of paper products. 9. Their frozen/refrigerator items appear to not be stocked fast enough. For instance, the cookies look the wrong color (too dark) as if they were left out too long causing them to taste bad. Many other frozen items are covered in freezer burn when they shouldn't be as if they were thawed and re-frozen. 10. Their sell by and/or use by dates are bad. Example... Milk will have a use by date of a few days out when the ones right next to them have a 2 week longer use by date. Same thing with most other dairy they carry such as yogurt/sour cream. There are 10 reasons right there to drive to either Safeway or Walmart where these problems are not the norm. read more

We started shopping at this location since it was close . We did only the pickups since last year. In the last few months we had so many bad experiences we finally decided never visit this place ever again. If you do pickups you will most like encounter one of these 1. Expired milk 2. Kids yogurt 6 pack ones with one day expiration 3. Rotten fish and meat products 4. Eggs thrown in your trunk while loading pickups and then you find at home they are broken. 5. Mold in bread and these are not cheap rudi's bread is 5 bucks a loaf. 6. Lastly today when i called the manager to report and get a refund she says there is no such process . Just few weeks ago when their fish was spoilt. A few weeks ago different store manager helped us connect to customer service and they refunded. So clearly this person doesn't know what she was talking but, was plain rude and hang up the phone on us. All i asked was to be transferred to customer service how hard was that. If you as a manager cannot handle your self i can imagine how she can run this store. To this person after you hang up on us i googled found the customer service number and my refund is processed for the moldy bread you sold us. Want to be clear not all staff were this irresponsible and rude infact most have helped in many ways. This is a poorly run grocery store. I highly recommend avoiding this one and going to Safeway or any of the other King Soopers in Parker. Bakery is not well run with limited product availability, aisles are cluttered with staff junk, parking is tough, smaller carts are routinely out, and you will often find staff (like baggers) more concerned with other things besides their jobs. King Soopers is my grocery store chain of choice and this one is really great. The checkers have all worked here for years so it must have good management. They have a great inside non-branded Starbucks store with free wifi and huge comfy chairs to sit in and provide you with drink holders for your shopping cart if you need your java jolt while shopping. Nice. My favorite story about this store was when a particularly sweet older gentleman that worked there for years and befriended all passed away, there was a nice memorial service for him with cards to sign for the family to let them know how much he would be missed by "his" customers at Kings... This is why I love living in Parker, great homey touches like this even at a huge chain. read more

Probably the worst store I've been to. I've lived in stroh ranch for five years and even before COVID they couldn't manage to keep things stocked. I feel like management doesn't even care. The cottonwood store always has everything you need but why would I want to drive that far when this store is in my backyard? Self checkout is always a joke, half of the checkouts are off most of the time especially during peek hours, you shop for two things and spend 20 min in line just to check out and nobody there has an answer as to why. I would honestly rather have a Safeway there instead. At least they care about the community and there stores. Sorry to sound like a Karen but something needs to change. I do instacart grocery delivery right now because of the current circumstances. I doubt I will ever accept an order at this store ever again. Terrible customer service. The cashier also messed up my instacart order so I had to deal with contacting the company on my own time, etc. And then when the manager came over to try to help the cashier, she accused me of not being thorough enough with my directions. King Soopers - Stroh Ranch Took over 25 minutes to check out because there a checker named Rita who thinks it is more important to socialize with her friend instead of checking people out. She literally scanned a few items, stop continue conversing, scan and stop to talk with her friend. Obviously she wanted prolong the checkout process. When I asked if they could finish their conversation so I could get checked out, Rita's friend told me to go to the Self-Checkout and leave Rita alone. I figured I should write a review for this store, too, since I reviewed a different store and mentioned this one in it! This store is nice -- it is relatively new (or recently renovated) and is well laid out. The store is clean and well-lit. There is a Starbucks inside the store with lots of comfy chairs to lounge in if you have some time to kill. There is a sushi station at this store which does a surprisingly impressive job -- I mean, let's face it... who really expects sushi from a grocery chain to look or taste good? I sure don't, but I have been very pleasantly surprised by this store in particular. At the location closer to me (Parker & Arapahoe), I get pretty close to what I expect -- sushi that looks like it was made by someone who has no idea what they are doing. At this store, however, you get sushi that doesn't fall apart.. looks and tastes great. Lots of ample parking in a huge lot, right off of Parker Road -- the store is a little tucked back, so make sure to watch for the sign or you could miss it as you're flying down Parker! read more

They don't have enough help. I would like to go in actually shop and have somebody sack my own groceries and check me out! I'm paying these high prices plus I have to scan my own groceries in half the time the machine is telling me I didn't bag anything, just very ridiculous know Customer Service like Kingsoopers used to be. I just went in there yesterday December 23 just to get a baguette, they had no bread whatsoever. I'm just gonna start going to the cottonwood store even though it's further away. Or maybe I'll just start going to Walmart at least the prices are much cheaper. But I get it no one wants to work these days I really don't know why, or what is up with that?! My wife and I having been shopping here for years, more because of convenience than anything else, in the 7 years we have lived in Parker it's just been the easiest solution to get groceries. I would just like to say that my experience tonight was the typical one I get and why not leave a review. Asked for a propane tank exchange and was told they were too busy to do it when the parking lot was near empty.. I get staffing issues, I am in the industry, however it takes 30seconds to flip a propane tank. Not a huge deal. But common.. Then go to the gas station at king scoopers to try flip the tank and they tell me the only one with the key is the guy at the store that was too busy to change my tank.. Again, not a huge deal, I'm just tired of the staff at this store being rude( pre-pandemic) and after to customers like myself that spend a ton of money over years at this particular King Soopers.. Staff at the Lincoln Rd. location are way friendlier and they don't run out if stuff. Susan from the flower shoppe was a nightmare. We had an order for 7 dozen roses and had checked numerous times the weeks before to make sure that our order was there. We showed up and Susan proceeded to tell us that we had the wrong place and the wrong day. After she learned it was the right day she continued to be rude and act like we were stupid all throughout the time we were there. She would sing along to the music playing in the store in between while talking to us and tell me that I was filling out a required form wrong. (I wasn't and a customer service member came over and agreed that I was doing it correctly.) We got our order finally after 20 mins of her telling us we were wrong. read more

King Soopers. What's not to love? The name itself says it all; it's like it's screaming "I AM THE KING OF GROCERIES". And, it's semi true. No real false advertising here. Well, almost. There isn't one thing this place doesn't carry. Keep in mind this IS a basic well know chain located in suburbia and offers every day groceries suburbians need to buy. I have to say, not bad. But, not good. Cause, I'm not an "every day" kind of gal.You won't walk in saying, "Oh look how cute this store is, it's just so unique." But you will hear, "Where's the new Starbucks located again?" So if you find yourself in Parker, CO looking for foreign cheeses, here's a secret: there aren't many cheese options to speak of, no real genuine pita selections, no NY style pizza or pasties around. You get the idea. I can tell you that this place is suburb at carrying any and all cold medications imaginable so because of that, 5 stars. Clarion? Check. Kleenex? Check. Sprite? Check. Employees won't let me shop in peace, they are always talking and annoying me. I'm not in the store to socialise. I want to shop and get me and my stuff home. The roving sales promotions employees are super creepy. (No I don't have a ticket and I don't want one) They have made me want to leave the store and never come back! Music is completely annoying, so tired of hearing the same tired songs all the time and I only come in once or twice a week. I don't want to hear 'Who's Johnny' anymore! I could never work there and have to listen to the same playlist over and over. I feel for the employees that endure the same songs over and over. Furthermore, I'm disappointed in the fact that they have to start charging a fee for debit card transactions to get cash back. King Soopers stepped it up recently with a makeover. Really though, I don't care about what the place looks like as long as they have what I'm looking for. Which brings me to the reason I'm giving them a 4 on the rating... 1. The veggies are always fresh (Unlike Wal-Marts) and ripe 2. The store is easy to navigate 3. If I ever become single again, I know where to look for a date, haha. If I can't complain about a store, more power to them. read more
