Placed my first grab and go order online today around 11am for pickup at 5pm. Drive all the way there and make the call, guy says they have none of my order in stock. They had nearly 6 hours to call, email or text that they could not fill the order. The email I received was a confirmation of the order and the pickup time. I won't be using this service ever again from Safeway. Back to Fred Meyer I go. read more

I am so fucking fed up with this Safeway. Every time I come here with my list they are out of AT LEAST 1-3 items making my it so hard to plan meals out for the week when I have to sit down in the middle of the store and re-think my whole weeks worth of food because they can't keep items like Chicken thighs stocked, or ingredients like green onions, or certain brands of English muffins....get your act together. read more

This is regarding the deli. I have been to the deli 4 times. Once they closed early. I got there 10 minutes before they are supposed to close and the place was cleaned out and locked up, so they must have started closing at least 45 minutes early. They have a deal for a chicken, fried chicken or meatloaf and 2 sides for $10 So the next time they were open and I got fried chicken. It was mostly bones and batter, the meat that was on it was so dry my cat wouldn't eat it. My daughter tried her best to eat several pieces but I had to cook her something else after because she was still starving after the probably 50 calories worth of actual chicken on the wings and drumsticks she had. The next time I got a rotisserie chicken, it was soggy and the skin had fallen off of most of it. But the meat was juicy. Ive had much better but it surely beat the fried bones they gave us before. Today I got a meatloaf. It was pretty clear that someone had burned the meatloaf all the way through and then coated it with sauce to hid that until purchased. I was so very very hungry and although I couldn't hide my disappointment when I went to cut a piece and my knife got stuck in the crust that was the entire loaf, I choked back my tears and crunched away at it anyway for lack of other sustenance and the fact that I paid $10 for it. I may as well have dug the charred bits of old meat off the bottom of my grill and dipped them in BBQ sauce for all the flavor this provided. I moved from evergreen way and went to the Safeway there often for the $10 meals and $5 Fridays. The quality varied and it definitely was better sometimes than others, but the absolute worst thing I've ever had from that Safeway was a fillet mignon compared to the trash they serve here. And I do mean trash as in, this food belongs no place on this earth other than a landfill. read more

This store really needs new management. Basic items are out of stock frequently. I have used their delivery service for the last time. Not only were at least half a dozen items out of stock (as usual), they didn't even bother completing my order. They shopped for around 2/3 of my order then they apparently just stopped shopping after that. Between all of the other grocery markets and Amazon offering low-cost grocery delivery, I would suggest any one of those services over the Safeway on 134th Place in Everett, WA. read more

Convenience, and extremely happy associates are their more so than other major food stores. Having great prices on Gas is good to have so close to home In fact, Safeway here is practically a one stop shopping source. Great parking to add to the the mix. read more

Been going to this store since the day it opened. Excellent selection and fair prices. The only thing I do not care for is the Just For You pricing you only get if you use their silly app. Oh well. read more

I was in line & another customer was right behind me. She did not stand 6 feet away, more like 10 inches. The cashier said nothing as I said I'm trying to social distance. Then the customer had the nerve to cough on me & not move. Why don't your employees tell customers to stand 6 feet away. This cashier said nothing!! Also, no one helps me at that store. One produce guy went out of the way, (literally the opposite side from where I was standing), to ask a lady if she needed help. Like I was invisible. I was also watched like a hawk when I used the self check out one time. Two employees loomed over me, when all the other checkouts were also being used. They sttod there until I paid for my items just staring at me. Very uncomfortable. I wonder if it's my clothes, my hair? I'm not sure but every time I go there I feel discriminated against. Do better. read more

Best Grocery store in the area. The people there are always super warm and inviting. Opens from 5am-1Am. Opens on most holidays, exception being Christmas I believe. Great selection, great prices and great people. What more can you expect? read more

It's definitely what I'd expect from a Safeway location and that's a great thing! Everything is where I'd expect it to be and it's the absolute best store in the area, no doubt! This is one of the more updated stores that Safeway has and is noticeable; quite nice. read more

Not really happy with this Safeway. The store is clean, and the people that work there are friendly. BUT this store seems to be the biggest bait and switch in Everett. When the sale flyer comes up they never have enough of the things that are on sale. We typically go shopping the day after we get the flyer and more often than not they don't have the things that are advertised in the flyer. Also, we've seen many times the prices in the store don't agree with what's advertised. Might as well shop somewhere that I can get the things on my list at a decent price. Sorry Safeway...you're not hitting a home run at this store IMO read more

This Safeway is a living nightmare. Little to no selection. Often sold out of basic staples. Checkout lines that make black Friday look like a picnic. And their deli is an absolute waste of space. I have seen burnt food in the case on several occasions. Can't wait for some competition in the area. Do yourself a favor and drive to Fred Meyer. read more

Sally at the self serve register's needs a SERIOUS chill pill. She's having fits just getting paid to help customers. She needs to keep her nasty comments to herself,I really have more urgent life problems, than to hear her complain about how rude ppl are. Yah,ppl can be rude, but no one really wants to hear about your bad day, really! read more

Just came in to get a sandwich at the deli. I stood at the counter for over five minutes, saw multiple employees prepping for the day but nobody acknowledged my presence. I left. Thanks for nothing Safeway Deli Staff. read more

This is pertaining to the Deli section.i went there in the morning of Nov.23,2019, to pick up some cold cuts. I was the only person standing there waiting to get served, there were about 3 people working behind the counter and not one of them would look up to make eye contact. I'm sure they all saw me. I had to directly stand in front of one of them to finally get acknowledged. The deli counter at this location is the worst. This wasn't the first time that I was ignored. QFC, Mill Creek and Fred Meyer have better customer service. I'll be going there from now on. read more

I finally tried online delivery and I just wanted to say it was great! The correct food items were purchased and the delivery was done during the 2 hour window I selected. It's my go-to grocery chain. This locay is clean and well stocked, but let's be serious, you're not really yelping Safeway for a review are you? I'm just working on gaining Elite Status and kicking Amy V's review count... read more

Generally a clean store with great employees. It's certainly one of the better Safeway stores. But, lately I've noticed a lot of things that need improvement. A single bike rack isn't sufficient anymore. It ends up being full simply if a bunch of kids happen to show up right before you do. The checkout time take way too long because of the debit/credit interface. It used to be you could enter everything as the clerk was scanning everything. But, now you can only do a little bit of it before the clerk is done. As a result the lines take a lot longer. The bakery is getting really boring. I haven't seen anything new or interesting in months. Lastly they took away the Signature Select Molten Chocolate chip cookie. The Cookie Monster in me will never forgive them for that. :-) read more

The absolute worst Bakery in the Greater Puget Sound Area. Every time I purchase something there, it's awful. 3 Examples: Thought the chocolate eclairs looked like a genuine French Eclaire until I had one. Instead of a rich creamy buttery chocolate frosting, they had a real sugary disgusting topping. Instead of having a real whipped cream stuffing or pudding, they had the same disgusting grainy sugary frosting (Yuk!). On another occasion I bought a multipack of mini cakes called Cakery Nainamo thinking they were mini chocolate cakes stuffed with various flavored buttery creams, instead they were basically 2 pieces of waxy chocolate with the same grainy sugary frosting stuffed between them (Ick!). Bought what I thought were fresh bakery rolls like mom used to make except they were dried out, chewy with little flavor, and deflated once you bit into them. Talk about a let down. I will never buy anything from their bakery again. Ralph L. - Everett read more

Yet another Safeway that is great! I love the atmopshere in this store. The staff and checkers are super friendly. The selection is great and so are the prices. The bakery is HUGE with lots to pick from! read more

Ahhh my favorite Safeway of all Safeways around here. Their deli is nice during the day and their alcohol isnt trapped in a glass case like the other Safeway on the other side of my house. I go here after work to do grocery shopping so not a lot of people are here. So I really can't say anything negative. read more

I love this Safeway. I always leave it feeling awesome. There is something going on with the staff here - they are just really happy and helpful and seem to love what they do. I've had multiple employees bend over backwards to search for find a random item I'm looking for. It's clean, well organized, and has just a good feeling. There are always fun car carts for babies and check out is fast. My baby waved for the first time to the friendly tellers at their in store Wells Fargo. *This review is not about the pharmacy read more

I've almost always had a good experience here. The only time I didn't like a bakery item. It's a pretty good bet you'll get what you want here. It's a clean store with wide aisles, good employees, and reasonable prices. read more

Very disappointed in the bakery selection. This Safeway used to have a much better selection of donuts and they no longer carry the powdered sugar jelly donuts. I don't think they bake in house anymore except for their bread which is never fresh either. What the heck happened? read more

I live 3 minutes away from Albertsons in Clearview, however, prefer to go further to this Safeway location because of the friendlier service they HAD. Went in with my hubby and daughter to pick up our turkey dinner for Thanksgiving tomorrow and left the store truly disappointed with the clerk. She had a hissy fit since the dinner did not have a label for her to scan. It seemed to bother her to make the effort to call the deli for a price and she made it clear it was a bother as she voiced her opinion out loud to fellow clerks nearby. She stated that all customers that came through her line already paid their dinners at the deli. We thought the smarter thing to do was pay our dinner along with our other items ONCE, rather than 2 transactions during the same visit. Common sense would have been to have the dinner code handy at all checkstands, afterall, it is the day before Thanksgiving! Unfortunately, once we arrived home, we noticed the dinner rolls (which are supposed to be included) were not placed in the dinner box and now we have no rolls for our turkey dinner for Thanksgiving:( read more

I walk to Safeway because I live right next to Safeway. For some reason it's okay for there drivers to park in the walk way? Making me walk in the road with my toddler nephew. It's honestly pure laziness. So inconsiderate to customers read more

This is the store that delivers to my neighborhood. This is a review of Safeway delivery service from this store. It is horrible. Skip the disappointment and drive to the store. I found this convenient at first, however, it has really become bad. Always late and food near expiration or already past. Today was the worst. The order was for delivery Jan 7th between 6pm and 7pm. No call, no show. Today (Jan 8th), at some point the groceries were just left on my front porch in a pile in the rain. It is a week day and the driver must have known no one was home. He left it anyway, including alcohol. The salads and fruit are all near or past expiration. Totally unacceptable. Now I am sitting waiting, again for someone to come pick up this bunch of wet, spoiled food off my porch. My credit card has been charged and I will have to argue to get the charges reversed. This is the worst headache I have had in years. read more

Mike Hansen, the manager at Mill Creek Safeway, has no idea what customer service means. My husband and I went there this morning and did some shopping. When my husband put his debit card through the machine at the checkout counter it went through all the normal screens except the one where you can indicate if you want cash back or not. That one appeared and then was gone in seconds without giving my husband a chance to mark yes or no. Mr. Hansen was working the register at this time and we told him we didn't want any cash back. He laughed and said, "Apparently you did." I told him that no, we did not and explained how the screen went by so fast we didn't get a chance to hit any button. He ignored that and opened his register and handed us the money the computer was indicating was asked for. Again, I said, "We don't want any cash back." He looked at me and said, "Well, I can't put money back in your account." We took the money and left all the while feeling very upset that not only was he assuming we did something wrong but he did not offer to cancel the transaction and re-ring it so that we were happy. After all, what if that transaction overdrew our account? Then we would be faced with overdraft fees and we have NEVER been overdrawn. We left the store and as we drove away, we though about it a bit more and turn around go in and talk to him about it. He was paged and my husband told him how he felt. My husband was angry as expected but Mr. Hansen did NOTHING to make us feel better or to even indicate he cared one way or another. Therefore, we won't be shopping there anymore (we have been customers there for several years) and I encourage everyone to shop elsewhere because evidently, they have so many customers now, that they don't need to provide good service anymore. Wherever you shop for anything, please be sure to stand up for your rights as a customer. You are spending your money helping them stay employed so you deserve good customer service. I say, we need to all start insisting upon it too! read more

The manager, Sean is horrible at customer service. He has no conflict resolution or people skills. I have caught this store charging more than the advertised price, most recently yesterday Oct 29, 2016. They correct the error but depend on the customer to find it AFTER you've paid. Sean yesterday claimed that they are having a KNOWN computer issue creating this problem. Who would want to shop at a store the KNOWINGLY cheats its customers? Not me. Sean condones this and tries to hide this fact. He should be fired. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever! When you walk up to the counter to be helped, they act like you're not even there, and just continue doing whatever it is they're doing until they decide they want to help you. When you finally do get helped, you'll be lucky if you get somebody that speaks a language you can understand. Most of them speak broken English and are very difficult to understand. Very rarely do I go to this pharmacy and pick up a prescription without some sort of problem. They frequently tell me it's too early to pick up my prescription and then can't tell me when I'm able to pick it up. Once they enter things into their computer, and do some research, they discover that it can be picked up. They've even called my house before telling me I have a prescription that needs to be picked up, and then I go there only to have them tell me the prescription isn't there and has to be renewed. I'm done with these people! I should've moved on long ago. The Safeway Store is great, it's just the pharmacy that needs to drain the swamp. read more
