I have never had a long wait in the checkout line. Maybe one or two customers were ahead of me in the checkout line but it didn't take long for me to checkout, because it always goes fast. Cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. The only problem with Wegmans is their enormous size inside their store. From produce to cold boxes is a long walk for an old man like me and sometimes I think I may have to show my passport. Back to their groceries. I am amazed at the freshness, quantity, and variety of their produce. It stays the same for their other grocery items too. Whatever strange grocery item you are seeking, seek it at Wegmans and you should find it. The store has always been clean and a well lighted place. Next time you need some groceries, try Wegmans.

I think even the shoppers are nicer. :-) The Starbucks layout is also better than Safeway, multiple people can get to the mixing station vs being cramped in a tiny afterthought area. Although the seating area can get in the way. -1 for the self checkout; I really wish it'd be a 15 items or less area. I constantly see shoppers ringing up a full(er) cart and a long line of people with their hands full (no cart or basket).

She insinuated that I hadn't prepared the meat correctly. NO- your store is selling expired meats and fish with fake expiration dates on the label. I've decided to drive to the other Harris Teeter off of Carpathia near Gainesville to purchase my meats, chicken and fish. No bad meat or fish since making this change of stores. I will use Bristow store for a quick run to pick up a canned good or produce. I don't even buy dairy like yogurt also due to expired products in the cold cases. I've spoken with the manager and I've taken expired products to customer service to show they have expired products. No big deal to these clerks- it's the customers fault it's expired! But they do have sales and sale prices are good. If you have shopper card, there are discounts. The vegetables looked fresh. I picked up what I needed. They had a great selection of funny greeting cards, I picked up a couple. I didn't get bread because I would have had to take out a loan. Check out is easy and clerks were friendly. Parking is tight as there are a bunch of stores in the same strip mall. I did find fairly close parking.

Finally, this Harris teeters has a Starbucks inside so you can get your caffeine fix on the way in - or on the way out - and their service is just as good as the regular Starbucks. I spunned the wheel and won an Lidl key chain. While shopping, I brought 3 pastires, a case of bottle water. There were cherries on sale for $2.49 a pound. I had a healthy portion which came to almost $8.00. Lastly, I got coke zero. I used the self check out but could not use cash. Also, you need your own bag or buy a bag to take your groceries home for 15 cents. The check out guy was friendly and was going to have me go in the long line for cash customers. I quickly got my debit card out and swiped and left. Lidl is a huge store but I might be back before we leave to head back to Florida!

I recently moved to Manassas. today (07/14 around 1 pm) I stopped by with my 2 years old twins. It is already hard to manage them and the lady at the cashier was not helpful at all. She refused to accept my membership card or phone number when I asked where can I scan my membership. It was just after she finished scanning, before my payment. She said it is too late to scan and I should have scanned before she scan the items. I have never seen that before at any lidle. Even I shop there all the time. I said that is fine and scanned my credit card and left. Probably, she just don't even want to deal with my card because of her laziness. She needs re training. I don't think I will be nice to her next time if she does that again. I would have called her manager but my twins does not give a chance.

The previous store I went to (a couple miles down the road) was a mess, it was disorganized and didn't have what I was looking for (service was poor too). Upon entering the first thing I noticed was how clean and organized this grocery store was. I quickly found what I was looking for (galangal) as well as some other items I was seeking. Checking out was easy and the cashier was also much more friendly than the previous place too. This will be my go to from now on.
