The other issue was I asked two employees for galangal and neither spoke English so they got someone from the back who I asked and he took me to mangos. When I showed him the word "Galangal" on my phone, he said no. After trying the HMart down the street and comparing it to how disorganized, messy, cramped, and the poor service here, I'm done with this place.

The previous store I went to (a couple miles down the road) was a mess, it was disorganized and didn't have what I was looking for (service was poor too). Upon entering the first thing I noticed was how clean and organized this grocery store was. I quickly found what I was looking for (galangal) as well as some other items I was seeking. Checking out was easy and the cashier was also much more friendly than the previous place too. This will be my go to from now on.

The slow ambiance filled music playing in the background will have you wondering if you should be slow dancing in the aisle as the store is dimly lit on the inside. The bonus was I had a hard time finding taco shells of all things. As I stood in the middle of aisle 8 and asked a gentleman who was stocking the shelf if he worked there her responded no but he does so I turn around and the other gentleman stops and says how can I help you ma'am. I advised I was looking for taco shells and it was like he was in unison with the music as he replied aisle 16. Taco shells in hand, made my way to the checkout and was on my way. They do have several self check outs for use if you like to ring up your own groceries but as for me, I still go through the regular check out lines, you know, to help save jobs.

When I went to clean the fish the next day, it was black. Fish meat is not supposed to be black; it means that fish was spoiled yet she sold it to me. I could have gotten food poison if I had eaten it. She would have never eaten it or fed her family that nasty fish she sold me. I know for a fact Global food will never get my business again because that was beyond bad customer service. I paid $44 and change for a fish that she knowingly sold that was not edible.
