They were professional and responded quickly to our request for a baby gate at the top of the stairs.

Mike is a very nice guy who did a very professional job at a reasonable cost that I couldn't be happier with.

As an update, we needed to hire and pay a handyman to come fix several issues after using this…read morebabyproofing service. The biggest issue is that they messed up three of our kitchen drawers. They had worked just fine before, but afterwards wouldn't open and shut properly. We needed to shove hard to get the drawers to close and they were all wonky. They could not fix it and refused to take responsibility. My husband asked if they would get a handyman to fix it, and they said no. They claimed that it was a preexisting problem with the drawers, and would not listen when we told them that they worked fine before they came. Our handyman confirmed that the babyproofing service had forced two of the drawers back on the rails incorrectly, creating the problem. They broke the spring in the third drawer when it got stuck and yanked on it. But at least the third one is functional now after we paid our handyman to fix it. Ultimately, however, we are going to have to buy new rails for that drawer and pay to have those installed. The babyproofing service also made it so that I couldn't even open one of the kitchen cabinets. They installed the latch too far in, so I literally could reach it and my husband barely could. So we had to pay our handyman to redo those. We also had our handyman fix another latch in a drawer in the kitchen, and add latches to the bathroom cabinets (which the babyproofing service strangely did not do). The babyproofing service also missed electrical outlets. I had to point out while they were there that they missed one. And then we realized afterwards that they missed another one. Instead of fixing it, they told us where we could buy one to do it ourselves. So we bought one and paid our handyman to install that. I have also now realized that the babyproofing service missed the outlet in the kitchen. Why would you babyproof all the drawers and cabinets, but not the outlets? This is yet another thing we are going to have to pay to do ourselves. Finally, one of the wood slats they used to install the kitchen gate is unfinished on the end, so we will have to paint it. Overall, we paid a very high price for this service, and then ended needing to pay more to have our handyman fix their mistakes and finish the job.

I received professional and courteous service with a pleasant and efficient demeanor from the owners, Nancy and David. The price for their expertise was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend them for babyproofing and earthquake safety. Nancy and David have my utmost respect. I would not hesitate to use them again. The quality of their product is a high standard and easy to utilize. They cleaned up after themselves, they were respectful of my belongings. I was amazed at how well they managed the inconsistencies in my older home.

This review is long overdue. About me: single dude, late 30s, totally straight. I just bought my…read morefirst condo and did not want to look like a 21 year old bum with IKEA furnishings. Enter Shanna Little -- she's so fun to work with and TOGETHER we came up with a design plan. It is unbelievable how many compliments I get on my space. I asked her a ton of question, we bounced ideas back and forth, she asked questions about my color palette, I told her about my minimal lifestyle, we collaborated, and like any good personal trainer, I mean, interior designer will do...Shanna imposed her skillful eye on me when I felt uncertain about my barstool colors. I was starting a brand new life in LA with an awesome (but incredibly busy) new job and a new apartment 6 blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. That smile quickly turned into pitiful daily tears when reality set in that I was going to have to start over with decorating an entire apartment from top to bottom while learning a new city and new job. Lots of people love home decorating...They love the shopping, the searching for deals, the looking up of things on Pinterest....well NOT ME!! Decorating genuinely PAINS me in a way that is probably unusual and unnatural for a woman but this is where I am SO lucky and thankful to know Shanna. She has saved the day for me and has stopped the shedding of tears with her genius creativity and patience. To set the scene appropriately, this was not some beautiful new apartment but rather an apartment from 1971, complete with popcorn ceilings, brown plush carpet, a pepto pink front door and a green AstroTurf walkway. Shanna immediately saw the potential in this little Santa Monica gem and encouraged me to get it and she would help me make it fabulous. Shanna worked with me for MONTHS on every single room and consulted with me on just about every single thing that I have purchased from big furniture to rugs to pillow covers to shower curtains, to dining curtains, to wall décor, even to plants that would work in my space due to my lack of natural light in some rooms. I found myself sending Shanna excessive photos options at all hours of the day before I would make a purchase and she always helped me figure out exactly what I needed with an eye that I sincerely trust. Besides the decorating, Shanna is simply a jack of all trades when it comes to pulling your home life together. She is resourceful and most of all, knows the who's, what's and where's when it comes to getting things done around the home. Also, I know her to be a master of gallery walls. Under her advice, I started collecting things that I loved and she has helped me create a really fun wall that everyone who comes over loves and compliments! Before I moved to LA, I lived in a very "sterile" and modern loft and I never knew I was capable of loving something as colorful and cozy as my place has become, thanks to Shanna and Little Simplicity! THANK YOU SHANNA!!

Quality: I can't say enough great things about Quick Care. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Gary helped us out and he was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and honestly just a joy to be around. He's also hilarious, which made the whole process feel comfortable and easy instead of stressful like home repairs sometimes can be. The work itself was done quickly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. Everything was handled efficiently and you can tell right away that he truly knows what he's doing. What really stood out to me was how genuine and humble he was. At one point he noticed that one of our doorknobs could actually be a safety hazard. Without hesitation, he fixed it for us just because he didn't want it to cause an issue later. That level of care and integrity is rare these days. Value: The value we received was incredible. Not only was the service professional and efficient, but Gary went above and beyond to make sure things in our home were safe and working properly. Genuine people like this are hard to find, and I'm so glad I trusted my intuition and went with the professionals who truly get it done.
