As a pediatrician, I know how important babyproofing is, but I have to admit that Anne Marie and Mike spotted potential dangers that even I wouldn't have thought of! The main challenge with our new house was a very wide staircase, with wall on one side and a wrought-iron railing on the other. No standard stair gate would have worked. Mike custom fit gates (top and bottom) for our staircase and did an amazing job. Everything else was done with the same attention to detail. Where to start? After the "professional installation" by safer baby we still have 4 outlets not covered ("i guess we missed a few") and we had an outlet with four plugs which they said they didn't have a cover for. A number of the latches have already broken off. Being new parents we hoped their expertise would provide a safe house. They didn't suggest putting a gate at the bottom of the stairs, which we now realize is probably a bit of a hazard. In addition, there is an entire area of cabinets they forgot to latch. We (as another person has noted) had them show up a number of hours late with no apology. The installation was expensive and obviously not thorough. When I called to say how disappointed I was to have a partial installation with a handful of the latches already broken and that the number of hours we wasted waiting for them seemed worthy of a discount (or minimally to have them come out and fix/finish the job), we were told they were sorry we were dissatisfied and to call them. They never called us back or followed up to see how they could rectify the situation. It seems that customer service and satisfaction are not high on their list of Company priorities. read more

If I could give zero stars I would have. This company is highly unprofessional. After initial consultation, we made a date and time for installation of some baby proofing products. They said they would be at my home between 2 and 3pm. 3pm came and went without a phone call. When I called, Annmarie explained that Mike (Mark?) was in Monrovia and stuck in traffic. I asked why no one called to give me a heads up and she couldn't give me a reason. When Mike and another worker finally showed up at 4:10pm I told them I was unhappy and terribly inconvenienced (I had rushed to be home by 2pm since that was the time they had given me) and would have appreciated a phone call. He claimed he had no cell reception. I asked if there was some sort of discount available (this would have been the professional thing to offer), he said they simply "don't do discounts" and they "don't guarantee times." I was not previously informed that my time slot was virtually meaningless. I told him I wanted my $45 deposit back and they left with barely an apology. read more
