I have had 3 experiences with this business, 1 where they came to my home (crack patch) and 2 on-site (full replacement with collision detection camera alignment. I come here primarily because they are the default with American Family Insurance, and you schedule the service right through the Amfam website and all the billing is transparent. They also have the capability to do a full realignment of a Subaru Eyesight collision detection system, which is required after a windshield replacement. Their availability is good for scheduling, I was able to get same-day service when needed. Checking in is painless. The waiting room is pretty spartan - I typically go grab lunch at one of the fast food places within walking distance (that's a plus!) or hang out at a coffee shop in the same strip mall. My only gripe is their communication could be better. It would be nice to get a text message with "your vehicle will be ready in 20 minutes" notice so I can hike back to the office. The techs are very friendly and polite. I plan to continue to get my vehicles serviced here, pretty darn convenient with the way they are hooked into Amfam. read more

Their own call center kept getting disconnected too. After wasting my entire day off, the shop admitted they "can't get ahold of their tech." We had a dime /nickle size crack no branches no spreading ...arrived to have it repaired. Been like that about 3/4 days. Have insurance on the glass so they suggest Safelite. I almost took a photo of it. Walk in just to hear a guy being told his windshield is unfixable. I sign I'm then instead of sitting down I walk to the window. I see the same guy who delivered the I repairable news lean over my glass full body no tools. I sit down. Then he comes I says my windows unrepairable and crack branching 1/5 across the window???? Communication was very good. We had a pretty open timeline for arrival but they let us know when our service rep would be at our house. The problem was just a chip and the start of a crack. Hopefully, what was done will stop the crack from getting any bigger. read more

I was unable to succeed into talking to a human being on the phone and ultimately the automated system hung up on me I tried multiple times Don't waste your time with this place. All I wanted to do was discuss a tiny little crack in my windshield to ask if it's one of those things that they could repair on site without replacing the windshield and if they could make it invisible? But I was unable to find that information either online or by calling them and I'll be darned if I'll go in there now. I will seek out a different entity to do business with going forward. Absolutely horrible experience. They talked me into buying their windshield instead of an OEM, which I wanted and was willing to pay for. Then, they didn't install it properly, as the windshield whistled. I brought it back and asked for it to be removed and for a discount on the OEM; they refused, not even $25 off. I would not recommend this shop in Tucson. If I had checked Google reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have gone there. The shops in the White Mountains are great; I've used them a lot as I own a Jeep. Don't use them. Oh, and they said a supervisor would call me, but nobody has. read more

I understand that they have patented their repair and that why the increase from $70. To $165. Had chip repaired for $ 35. Elsewhere. Wont use Safelite again. read more

I recently had to get my windshield replaced because a chip that I had turned into a larger crack. I was able to make an appointment online for 2 days after the crack was spotted. Once I arrived on appointment day, the installation took no longer than 1.5 hours. The specialist Oscar even went over the care instructions with me after. I have posted many positive reviews before, and I did not see myself posting a bad review until now. Things can go wrong, and handling the issue in a professional manner is the most important step. I received a total disrespect, and lack of care from the Manager of the Safelite in Ina RD Tucson. In short, they installed the windshield incorrectly which caused water leak inside and causing damages to the camera and sensors. Manager, Michelle, extremely rude, unprofessional, uncaring. First, she tried to blame me, including I showed up early 30 minutes to my appointment. Second, she was arguing that problem was the dealership issues. All I was asking, just fix it and tell me when it would be fixed. I reached out to their corp. support and asked for area manager because I was not getting anything from the store manager. It took 15 phone calls and finally I heard from their corp. and after 4 weeks, 4 visits ( 4 hours each), they finally replaced the windshield , then they sent me to dealership to calibrate it . The were incompetent to complete the replacement. I am a reasonable person. I don't wish this kind of treatment by this manager for anyone visiting Safelite Ina RD Tucson. Normally they send a feedback questionnaire for customers grading their visit . I did not get one . It seems Safelite Ina Rd did not care for my feedback. read more

5star experience TWICE! First time we caught a chip: was easy to schedule online, and was taken care of quickly and right on time. Second time, a second rock hit the windshield and it splintered. Submitted a claim with my insurance, and this location showed up as a repair shop so I jumped on it. Because I suspected that the windshield would be replaced, I had a good amount of questions so I called in: the staff was able to answer all of my questions and then some! Fast forward to a few days later when I had my appointment and got the windshield replaced: I got there, car went right in, and was done ahead of estimate. The tech even took the extra care.. going above and beyond to move over my stickers, and gave me all of the post-procedure care instructions. 2 stars as I have now been waiting in store for 2 hours (one of the first 3 guests in store) for an OEM windshield replacement was told they have in stock at check-in. Guests who have arrived 30 minutes later than I have now walked out of store. My car was even pulled into port 30 minutes after I arrived and others pulled in after me have left. Why is this "routine" replacement taking 2 hours? Update: spoke to store assistant and was told there were many repairs this morning. I guess repairs come before scheduled appointments. Update to my terrible Safelite experience, I went back to ask them about the scratches they left and they lied to my face and showed me photos of the scratches, yet the photos conveniently did not have a time stamp. When I asked to view inspection photos from the first failed installation, there were none. He clicked like two photos out of like ten right in front of me and said "Nope, doesn't look like there are any." Why photos taken this time and not last time? I suspect this business of covering for themselves by taking photos of damages they caused and claim that it was already there. Be sure to hold them accountable. I recently got my windshield replaced and they recently got a mew manager and the manger was so nice and very professional. As I walked in to his store there was a Fridge that was filled up with water, Root beer, 7 up , Diet Pepsi , and sprite .. amd some snacks on top and a coffee maker. I highly recommend this company! This branch on Ina Road replaced the windshield on my Tesla Model Y. When I got the car back I discovered that they had not correctly recalibrated the front camera so the cruise control on the car would not function. When I had Tesla come out to correct that problem, they found that Safelite had also broken a component during the windshield installation. Safelite refused to fix either problem they caused. I recommend avoiding them if you have a vehicle with advanced cruise control. read more

Rarely giving out 1 stars but there are too many options around town to ignore how low quality this place is. Safelite has a contract with Geico, so they set me up here for a windshield replacement on a Honda with the sensing electronic package. Unfortunately, they used aftermarket glass which didn't sit well with the car and I had to drive around for a few days with tons of flashing lights on the dash for them to get the OEM glass to come in. What was the most disappointing point was their lack of communication. Quoted 1 hour, took 3. Quoted 2 hours, took 4. Also they didn't mention that the glass would be settling so I wasted time talking to a centralized safelite personnel when this creaking noise began and made me nervous. Also the woman with long (nicely manicured) nails flat out lied to a man bringing in his Acura when he inquired as to if aftermarket glass affects the sensing package of his vehicle. Her response was never. Clearly I had to chime in as I was on my 4th hour and second replacement. Would return? Never. I would rather hike across town to Clear View Glass and Tint where they've done quality work and high levels of communication. read more

I took one star out because for for the two times I called and try to make an appointment for them to come to my work and replace the windshield it didn't work out very well. I think the 11-4pm timeline is very wide and not very realistic. Especially during those hours if you have meetings you're gonna miss an appointment. But I do like the fact that the insurance company worked really close with them and you don't need to worry anything once you file the claim. Pretty efficient and nice staff too. read more

I made an appointment with the Safelite in Oro Valley, but I gave them the wrong year on my car. when I arrived for my appointment, they didn't have the right windshield (my fault). they called all around the area and found the correct one and had me on the road by 11:30 that morning. I like how I can get my little windshield dings replaced for free with them through my insurance company, but I have a small problem with how my last service call was handled. We were told our service person would be here between 8 AM - 12 PM, and I received his name and picture with the text alert, which was great. Then I got an update saying he'd be here between 9-9:30, let's say (I don't remember now the exact time.) 20 minutes after his scheduled time he still wasn't here, nor had I received any further updates, so I called the company to find out what was going on. They called a service person, and I was given a new name and timeframe. Her work was perfect, we're very happy with it, I just don't understand how, if they can do these text updates, I wasn't informed more promptly that the original person wasn't going to be there at the scheduled time, since that's something he/the company should have known far enough in advance to update me. Told windshield replacement would take 2 1/2-3 hours. When I called after 3 1/2 hours of waiting I was told it wouldn't be done until 5p.m. Which equaled 6 hours to complete. Don't tell people a time if it's not going to be ready by that time! Or at least have the decency to take a minute and call the customer and let them know the repair is going to take longer than you had originally told them. read more
