Used for my windshield replacement. Easy to schedule, they came right to my house and all work was performed perfectly in my driveway!

I chose Safelite because they were recommended through Progressive and my windshield replacement was covered under my full glass coverage. What should have been a fairly simple process turned into a a huge headache with me not having my car for a week, and then having to go somewhere else. Originally when I dropped off the car I was told it should be a few hours. I didn't hear anything towards the end of the day. I tried both the shop's direct number and Safelite's nationwide customer service number, and I could not reach an actual person through either one. I was repeatedly routed through automated/AI menus without ever reaching someone who could tell me the status of my car. One time I was sent through menus for more than 5 minutes, only to have the call disconnected on me by the system. With closing time approaching, I finally drove over to the shop to find out what was going on. Safelite initially installed an aftermarket windshield in my Mercedes and then was unable to successfully recalibrate the vehicle's camera/driver-assistance system. Safelite had not been able to complete the calibration that day. I was told they needed more time, but instead of keeping the vehicle and continuing to work on it, they wanted me to take it home, sign paperwork waiving their liability, and bring it back two days later. I was told the shop manager had said they were too busy to work on it the following day. The car remained with them while they tried to resolve the issue (a week.) The receptionist was unhelpful and argumentative. The driver-assistance system had not been calibrated, yet I was being asked to accept the vehicle anyway and release Safelite from responsibility for the unresolved issue. There was also some suggestion that the calibration problem might somehow correct itself, which did not inspire confidence. This frustration was bad enough, but the Instead of leaving with a completed repair, I ended up having to arrange additional service with the dealership and pay for that service upfront with the promise that Safelite would reimburse me, once I completed and submitted the correct paperwork. 100% do not recommend this shop or company. read more

Pretty unprofessional- showed up for appt as scheduled 30min drive - Afroman 'Because I got High' was blaring from the shop. Kinda inappropriate for older customers. Only 1 of the 3 techs were actually working. They then informed me they ordered the wrong window & I need to return 3 days later. Came back & was emailed a Certificate of Recalibration.....for a vehicle I don't even have/own. On the report shows they entered the wrong VIN #. ....again. Pretty frustrating read more

I have had 3 experiences with this business, 1 where they came to my home (crack patch) and 2 on-site (full replacement with collision detection camera alignment. I come here primarily because they are the default with American Family Insurance, and you schedule the service right through the Amfam website and all the billing is transparent. They also have the capability to do a full realignment of a Subaru Eyesight collision detection system, which is required after a windshield replacement. Their availability is good for scheduling, I was able to get same-day service when needed. Checking in is painless. The waiting room is pretty spartan - I typically go grab lunch at one of the fast food places within walking distance (that's a plus!) or hang out at a coffee shop in the same strip mall. My only gripe is their communication could be better. It would be nice to get a text message with "your vehicle will be ready in 20 minutes" notice so I can hike back to the office. The techs are very friendly and polite. I plan to continue to get my vehicles serviced here, pretty darn convenient with the way they are hooked into Amfam. read more

When the time comes, I will be looking for another company or location. My experience with the front desk associate has been extremely disappointing. Her attitude toward me was surprising and unprofessional. I was shocked by the way she spoke to me. In addition, I believe she was gossiping about me with other staff members, which I found inappropriate and disrespectful. Her lack of professionalism, empathy, and understanding of different people is concerning. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. Because of these experiences, I do not feel comfortable continuing to do business at this location. Not only did they damage the dash cam on my 2026 Lexus SUV the manager is refusing to contact me back after over a month. There are gouge marks like someone pried it off my windshield with a screwdriver. Its also half hanging off my windshield be it wasn't even reapplied properly. This is the second car of mine they have fucked up. I will NEVER use safelite EVER! read more

Total joke of a company. Had a scheduled appointment to fix my rear windshield tech never showed. I called all day and got hung up on about 10 times. Their own call center kept getting disconnected too. After wasting my entire day off, the shop admitted they "can't get ahold of their tech." Okay, so! This is primarily a review based on customer service experience. My husband and I came in to get our windshield replaced and we spoke to a lady with short blonde hair about it at the desk. She asked us if we were going to stay or drop it off, we decided to drop it off as we were quoted 3 hours till completion. She told us they needed a card on file, but that the card would not be charged until we came to pick up the vehicle. My husband brought the wrong card, so I decided to use my card because I thought it was just to reserve the service, as we were told the card would not be charged until we came to pick it up and we let her know that we wanted to use another card when we came to get it, she said that was fine and to just remind her when we came back. We came back to get the car and we reminded her of our previous conversation and lo and behold, they charged my card for the service. I wouldn't even be upset about this if she admitted she made a mistake, but instead she became visually agitated by us now needing to fix this situation and was acting like it was this big ordeal, and I needed that money for a bill that I now have to wait 3-5 business days to get refunded back to me because of her miscommunication. And what gets crazier, I called safelite to speak to someone about our experience and they let us know that per their own policy, they are always supposed to charge for the service before it's done, which we didn't know that or else we would have came back with the correct card. So, I'm not sure how to feel about this, I mostly felt that the lady's demeanor was really rude and that maybe she didn't inform us of the policy correctly. We have had great experiences at other locations, shame that this had to happen here! Communication was very good. We had a pretty open timeline for arrival but they let us know when our service rep would be at our house. The problem was just a chip and the start of a crack. Hopefully, what was done will stop the crack from getting any bigger. read more

We had a dime /nickle size crack no branches no spreading ...arrived to have it repaired. Been like that about 3/4 days. Have insurance on the glass so they suggest Safelite. I almost took a photo of it. Walk in just to hear a guy being told his windshield is unfixable. I sign I'm then instead of sitting down I walk to the window. I see the same guy who delivered the I repairable news lean over my glass full body no tools. I sit down. Then he comes I says my windows unrepairable and crack branching 1/5 across the window???? I was unable to succeed into talking to a human being on the phone and ultimately the automated system hung up on me I tried multiple times Don't waste your time with this place. All I wanted to do was discuss a tiny little crack in my windshield to ask if it's one of those things that they could repair on site without replacing the windshield and if they could make it invisible? But I was unable to find that information either online or by calling them and I'll be darned if I'll go in there now. I will seek out a different entity to do business with going forward. Absolutely horrible experience. They talked me into buying their windshield instead of an OEM, which I wanted and was willing to pay for. Then, they didn't install it properly, as the windshield whistled. I brought it back and asked for it to be removed and for a discount on the OEM; they refused, not even $25 off. I would not recommend this shop in Tucson. If I had checked Google reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have gone there. The shops in the White Mountains are great; I've used them a lot as I own a Jeep. Don't use them. Oh, and they said a supervisor would call me, but nobody has. read more

I have used Safelite for many years for replacement windshields and chips. Have small chip in windshield now and they now charge $165. for repair. I understand that they have patented their repair and that why the increase from $70. To $165. Had chip repaired for $ 35. Elsewhere. Wont use Safelite again. read more

I recently had to get my windshield replaced because a chip that I had turned into a larger crack. I was able to make an appointment online for 2 days after the crack was spotted. Once I arrived on appointment day, the installation took no longer than 1.5 hours. The specialist Oscar even went over the care instructions with me after. Overall the results of my new windshield are amazing! read more

5star experience TWICE! First time we caught a chip: was easy to schedule online, and was taken care of quickly and right on time. Second time, a second rock hit the windshield and it splintered. Submitted a claim with my insurance, and this location showed up as a repair shop so I jumped on it. Because I suspected that the windshield would be replaced, I had a good amount of questions so I called in: the staff was able to answer all of my questions and then some! Fast forward to a few days later when I had my appointment and got the windshield replaced: I got there, car went right in, and was done ahead of estimate. The tech even took the extra care.. going above and beyond to move over my stickers, and gave me all of the post-procedure care instructions. I have posted many positive reviews before, and I did not see myself posting a bad review until now. Things can go wrong, and handling the issue in a professional manner is the most important step. I received a total disrespect, and lack of care from the Manager of the Safelite in Ina RD Tucson. In short, they installed the windshield incorrectly which caused water leak inside and causing damages to the camera and sensors. Manager, Michelle, extremely rude, unprofessional, uncaring. First, she tried to blame me, including I showed up early 30 minutes to my appointment. Second, she was arguing that problem was the dealership issues. All I was asking, just fix it and tell me when it would be fixed. I reached out to their corp. support and asked for area manager because I was not getting anything from the store manager. It took 15 phone calls and finally I heard from their corp. and after 4 weeks, 4 visits ( 4 hours each), they finally replaced the windshield , then they sent me to dealership to calibrate it . The were incompetent to complete the replacement. I am a reasonable person. I don't wish this kind of treatment by this manager for anyone visiting Safelite Ina RD Tucson. Normally they send a feedback questionnaire for customers grading their visit . I did not get one . It seems Safelite Ina Rd did not care for my feedback. read more

2 stars as I have now been waiting in store for 2 hours (one of the first 3 guests in store) for an OEM windshield replacement was told they have in stock at check-in. Guests who have arrived 30 minutes later than I have now walked out of store. My car was even pulled into port 30 minutes after I arrived and others pulled in after me have left. Why is this "routine" replacement taking 2 hours? Update: spoke to store assistant and was told there were many repairs this morning. I guess repairs come before scheduled appointments. Make that 4 clients who have now arrived after me and are leaving before me. read more

Update to my terrible Safelite experience, I went back to ask them about the scratches they left and they lied to my face and showed me photos of the scratches, yet the photos conveniently did not have a time stamp. When I asked to view inspection photos from the first failed installation, there were none. He clicked like two photos out of like ten right in front of me and said "Nope, doesn't look like there are any." Why photos taken this time and not last time? I suspect this business of covering for themselves by taking photos of damages they caused and claim that it was already there. Be sure to hold them accountable. I recently got my windshield replaced and they recently got a mew manager and the manger was so nice and very professional. As I walked in to his store there was a Fridge that was filled up with water, Root beer, 7 up , Diet Pepsi , and sprite .. amd some snacks on top and a coffee maker. I highly recommend this company! I'd like to give a great 5 stars !!! This is such a great company my insurance always recommends me coming here and I never regret it at all !! So please if like to recognize the manger and the hard working staffs even the frisky desk ladies ! This branch on Ina Road replaced the windshield on my Tesla Model Y. When I got the car back I discovered that they had not correctly recalibrated the front camera so the cruise control on the car would not function. When I had Tesla come out to correct that problem, they found that Safelite had also broken a component during the windshield installation. Safelite refused to fix either problem they caused. I recommend avoiding them if you have a vehicle with advanced cruise control. read more

Rarely giving out 1 stars but there are too many options around town to ignore how low quality this place is. Safelite has a contract with Geico, so they set me up here for a windshield replacement on a Honda with the sensing electronic package. Unfortunately, they used aftermarket glass which didn't sit well with the car and I had to drive around for a few days with tons of flashing lights on the dash for them to get the OEM glass to come in. What was the most disappointing point was their lack of communication. Quoted 1 hour, took 3. Quoted 2 hours, took 4. Also they didn't mention that the glass would be settling so I wasted time talking to a centralized safelite personnel when this creaking noise began and made me nervous. Also the woman with long (nicely manicured) nails flat out lied to a man bringing in his Acura when he inquired as to if aftermarket glass affects the sensing package of his vehicle. Her response was never. Clearly I had to chime in as I was on my 4th hour and second replacement. Would return? Never. I would rather hike across town to Clear View Glass and Tint where they've done quality work and high levels of communication. read more
