This is the second time I've had to call 1 hour auto glass and both experiences were seamless. They were able to send someone to my location within 24 hours to replace my car windshield. Also, since I was using my insurance coverage they gave me $175 check. Can't beat that type of service! I highly recommend this business. Tom made my appointment and Steve came to my house to install the windshield. Tom was punctual and notified me by text before he arrived. The job was completed in less than 15 minutes and Tom handed me the rebate check. I have not had any issues with the windshield or the installation. Pro: You get $60 if they replace your windshield. Con: 1 Hour Auto is in Tucson, so if you're in Phoenix they just farm out the job to some other random company and they're not very good at replacing windshields. They didn't bring replacement plastic clips that hold down the windshield trim and decided just to glue it down instead. But the trim popped up before the glue dried so it's not flush with the windshield and it's going to be annoying for the next guy that has to do it. Also, they cut the bottom rubber trim piece 1/8" too short leaving a gap. Lastly, one of the technicians that was working on it was in a foul mood. I called 1 Hour after the job was done and sent them pics and they told me it looked like a pretty good job actually. I guess we have different standards. read more

DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I've actually used these guys on a couple occasions. The first time I used them the guy who did the replacement completely scratched the top of my brand new work truck and used the black goop in extreme excess to cover up his screw ups. I didn't know about this until the next guy (still one of Tom's contractors) told me after they put the new one on. This last time I used them, they replaced my windshield on my NV1500 which had a few chips/cracks on it. So the guy who replaced it (Kevin's helper I believe) approached me after the windshield was done. We got to talking and he ended up telling me that he was a opiate addict and told me he has to take 215 morphine pills a month just to get by. This alarmed me but I let it slide. Well I wasn't actually using the vehicle due to slow business this time of year (AC and heating) so I hadn't driven the truck. When I did drive it, while I was driving I noticed that the windshield had cracked perfectly down the middle. I thought this was weird cause I hadn't driven far and never got hit by any rocks. I took a short video after inspecting the windshield VERY thoroughly to send to Tom and let him know. So they come out a couple weeks later due to the holidays and what not and I had to run my son to the doctors so I left the doors unlocked. I get a text message (from the guy with a drug problem) that the windshield had been "clearly" hit by a rock. I was thrown off so much cause I had really checked the entire windshield twice before they came out and I saw nothing at all. I truly believe that this guy made the mark on the windshield him self. It was the tiniest chip but you could still see it as you walked up to the vehicle and I would have NEVER overlooked something like that. I've also NEVER seen a tiny chip (or any chip for that matter) crack the windshield down the middle enI'm not sure if Tom knows this guys background but definitely seems to not care who he sends out to customers homes to conduct business. I will never use this company personally and I'd never recommend anyone else ever use them either. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY Edit: I definitely don't deny my own "past" drug use, but I have gotten help for my problem. Suboxone is something that I've been on for the past 6 months from a motorcycle accident I was in and didn't want to end up abusing the pain pills like I know would have happened. It just the type of person I am. Being aware of that I took Preventitve action so I wouldn't go down the path I was on for years in the past. I'm also not the one working for "your" company while ACTIVELY using pain pills at a incredibly high amount. (Definitely not a prescribed amount for someone to use.) Driving YOUR vehicles and meeting YOUR customers. I definitely know that the chip "from a rock" was not there when he got there. Then when he left all of a sudden there was a chip that I looked over the spot so many times to make sure it wasn't from a rock. September 6 I called and spoke with Marie. She set me up for an appointment for a technician to come out Friday 9am to 1pm to do an install of my windshield. On Friday no one called no one came! I tried to reach Marie, but was consistently sent to voicemail. I finally sent a text since she reached out to me via text to alert me that the technician stated my appointment have been moved to Saturday based on the call that he had made to me. This call never happened. I told Marie and she stated that she would schedule for another technician to come out Monday 9am to 1pm. Monday came and by 12pm I called Marie and texted her. She never called me back or texted me. I called the office and was told the Manager Nick would call me back. He called, was very apologetic and stated, " I will make sure everything is done and scheduled accordingly". He pushed me out to Wednesday. I was not happy about this because I now have waited 6 days. today cam and by 12pm I again called concerned no one called or came. I left a message for a call by and Nick never called. Yesterday a golf ball found its way to my windshield. Today I called 1-Hour Auto Glass (Phoenix) along with other Companies to get quotes on windshield replacement. I spoke with Tom he pulled up a quote of $230 check upon replacement after speaking to State Farm insurance. I am going to attach to photos of before and then tomorrow after installation I'll post the after pictures for everyone to look at and admire. The customer service and report built by Tom over the telephone was above average and very professional. They are going to be arriving between 8 AM and 12 PM tomorrow to replace my windshield and based upon the conversation over the phone I expect it to be a very smooth process. Nice company but they had to come back after not placing windshield in correctly , stripping was not placed in correctly either . When they said they would come back the next day to fix it at 6 pm they didn't show up and then said they couldn't get the part In time but didn't tell us that until after 6pm . I found 1-Hour Auto Glass via internet search. I was a little concerned since some of the older reviews are not so flattering. However, I was very happy with the work that I had done. I needed a new windshield because the line of site crack that I had was huge and really distracting. I took a stab at a same day appointment, mid-day time frame. Tom called me back quickly and helped me through the insurance process. His team came out well within the requested window. They were fast, polite, informative, and helpful. I had my cash rebate within 10 minutes of completion of work and within 2 minutes of me sending the info needed to get the rebate. Well all and all the quality of the work was good, although after I had placed my claim with one hour and my insurance company I was not notified of when my tech would arrive , the next morning he was at my door . I would not recommend this company at all. A while back during a road trip a rock cracked my windshield and then ricocheted and cracked my driver-side window. 1-Hour Auto Glass was very quick to fix the issue. The original tech was extremely rude and acted as if it was such a hassle for him to do his job. Then, a few months after one of the clips holding the driver-side window in place broke, again, 1-Hour Auto Glass was quick to fix the problem. They sent a different tech out and Kevin fixed it quickly. Now, again, a few months later, the clip broke again. I contacted 1-Hour Auto Glass on 8-24-2019, Saturday, after sitting on hold for a good 10-minutes my call was finally recognized. The phone operator told me she would get in contact with Kevin and have him set up a time to fix it for the 3rd time. Kevin called me shortly after and tried to set something up for that evening, I had a family gathering that evening so I told Kevin I couldn't that evening but that I would be home all day 8-25-2019, Sunday, so he could come any time. Kevin told me he would contact me the next day (Sunday) and set something up. Never called. On 8-26-2019, Monday (today) first thing in the morning I sent Kevin a few text messages and included a picture of how my window looked now that the clip was completely broken. My car was less than 7 months old when my windshield was cracked. Called them up and they were quick to fix it and thought they did a great job. But later a foam insulation between the windshield and dash. That is now squeezing out. I never had a problem with original windshield. Talked to the owner and he said it wasn't a problem and I should pull it out. I explained to him that it wasn't like that before. My insurance paid for a service and he wants me to fix the foam. This company was such a pleasure to deal with! I'd already had a bad experience with another company. Apparently my car has a very "special" windshield that is more complicated to replace and the components that hold it in place break easily. Most installers wouldn't touch it. But Tom jumped right in and found me a pro installer that made very quick work of my complicated install. My car wouldn't take a normal replacement windshield either, so he hunted down an OEM windshield from a dealership. Kevin and Nikki did a BEAUTIFUL job installing it!! It took less than an hour, and they gave me more cash back than any other company was offering (before they found out what kind of windshield and wouldn't do it period). But most importantly, they were all extremely pleasant to work with, diligent, and professional.
