I have been taking my dog to work for 10+ years and there was hair everywhere. When he was done there is not a hair to be found. The 17 year old (230,000 miles) car now looks like it just came off the show room when I bought it in 2008. My headlights were so cloudy you could not see out of them, and I tried everything sold on the internet to clear them up to no avail. He made them as clear as daylight almost like he put brand new headlight lens's in. The exterior paint shines like brand new and the tire rims are completely cleaned and polished. Since the crack was over 6" it was the latter. * Made an appt for the following morning, which was very convenient... I'm used to living in enormous cities where even dr's appts take 1-3 wks, so this was a pleasant surprise. * They could have made a visit to my home for repairs (which is fantastic), but I'm visiting the area, staying with family, who live in an apt complex & I didn't want to upset the neighbors by taking up multiple parking spaces. But, for locals, that's an incredibly convenient service. * Dropped it off, walked to a local deli for a great, affordable breakfast (Goldstein's... see my review), walked about for 1-1/2 hrs, then ventured back... my car was finished the moment I arrived... 2-1/2 hrs. * Since I'm paying cash, it was lovely to pay just shy of $300 for a new windshield. Glitches (but nothing serious): * I was unable to schedule an appt via their website (some glitch that tested my frustration level after 6 attempts on 2-days) & I never did make it through to an agent via phone... maybe everyone on the planet is getting glass replacement today. :) Not a big deal, but a frustration. * There was some confusion with an insurance claim I'd opened with my insurance provider (they couldn't find it in the computer), but it wasn't a big deal since with my $500 deductible, my windshield replacement was $200 less, so I didn't need to file a claim. To be clear, they did offer to investigate, if I wanted to go that route, which is great customer service. All in all, a great experience. They did a very nice job, quickly, on time. I called Arrow Auto Glass last Friday to replace auto glass. They said they would come by Monday…read more When they came by, they ordered the wrong glass and told me that I had to wait until Friday. I was upset, since I had visitors to drive around a week without being able to see through my back window, and I slammed the door when going back into my house. When I called them Friday morning at 8:30 to confirm the visit, they said they were coming, but then put me on hold to "review with somebody", and then said they would call me back. Five minutes later, they called back and said they were canceling the job because the person who came Monday "felt threatened." By a door slam?! They did say they would call me back to see what they could arrange. When I called around 11 pm, I asked if someone was coming out. They put me on hold to check, but I was transferred to voice mail, which I left. At 4:45 pm I called and I was told that the sale was voided out because I told them that I didn't want to wait the additional four days. Fortunately, I have a Safelite appointment tomorrow morning. I'll have to pay an additional $100 but I doubt anyone here will be afraid of a 55-year-old disabled man.
