When my husband asked the employee if they might be able to take a look at it, they amazingly went and pulled a gentleman away from weed whacking to come help us! Haha The young man was incredible; took a look at the car, checked the codes, talked to us about possible issues, and double checked our oil. He didn't charge us and helped us get back on our way without any dashboard lights threatening the last legs of our trip. Incredibly kind and great service. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

My friend and I had an accident, and this tow company was called without our consent, selection, or…read moreapproval. Matthew Grondin flipped and then towed our vehicle 15 miles, which should usually be between $150-250, given that it was during open hours. Instead, we were charged $400 for a 20 minute tow, and he left our car (which had entirely broken windows) open to the rain all night it sat, which flooded the entire interior. Instead of offering to help, he immediately defended himself as not liable and threatened us with higher charges for "flipover rate" and claimed we were on private property during the crash and would call the police on us. He kept a snobbish attitude and cheeky grin when telling two minors with little knowledge of these ordeals. When leaving, I overheard three other boys around my age complaining about similar issues. Nobody should rely on this dude to get them out of a tough time and Grondin runs a questionable business.

We called a month ago and made an appointment to drop our 1st vehicle off. On the line making the appointment I explained that I had 5 vehicles I would like checked out. So he stated to bring the Truck in first. We dropped off the truck. (While on the phone I explained the vehicle needs to be jump started, that the fan goes, and that it needed an inspection). The truck was there for a week. We called to pick it up and were told it was ready. Spent $324 for ThermoStat housing, Temp Sensor and labor. Sent my daughter to pick the car up. She was told that it needed a new battery and it would not pass inspection until it had one. That she would have to jump start it if it didn't start. My husband called and was told to call in the am. I called and I was told that I had WAY too many people handling the car. Meanwhile, multiple people had no clue and we were told it was missed. I was also told we don't even know who the Crosstrek is. He was very off-putting. From one local business to another, this was an awlful experience and it wasn't cared about. I was told I'd come pick up the car after I felt belittled.. and he goes. " Good, thats fine by me, I don't care.". I care very much about my clients, or customers. I just thought that with such high reviews, we would find a place to take care of our family cars for years. ( we wanted local).

Now, about 2 months later, my Bronco broke down on the road and had to be towed. that's bad enough for a 2 year old car! But when I called them to have it towed there they told me it would be at least 2 weeks before they could even look at it! That is totally unacceptable for a returning customer in my opinion! I will never go back, and suggest that you consider options before you go there. one thing for certain, I will not be buying the F150 that I am planning on from them!

I'd been searching for this one particular car for quite awhile and was adamant about buying it from a dealership because I'd always had bad luck with used car dealers. When I saw the exact car for sale at Schurman and learned it's part of North Country Ford, I reached out to them. I was really nervous, not only because I am a female with a lack of automotive knowledge, but because the dealership is nearly 500 miles from my house. Talking to Mark Boisclair, however, put me at ease. He was so incredibly patient, answering all my questions and zillions of emails and phone calls promptly. He sold me the car at a great price and was trying to help me arrange transport for it. Eventually I decided it would be quicker, easier and almost the same price to fly to New Hampshire, pick up the vehicle and drive it home. Schurman picked me up at the airport (2 hours away!), worked with me on payment and even helped me with an issue that arose days after the sale. They could have blown me off at this point, but Mark was so responsive, even when I was freaking out a little. Turned about to be nothing much to worry about and still Mark was so kind in his correspondence. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would not hesitate to recommend Schurman or North Country to anyone in New England--or beyond, like me! Thank you, Mark!
