Being from out of state, it can be nerve wracking not having a place you are familiar with. Called up and everyone we dealt with was exceedingly pleasant and professional. After a day to get the new part shipped in, the car was fixed up and ready to go. The price was fair and the work was great. If we were from the area this place would be my new go-to repair shop. I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted to make sure out-of-towners know this is an awesome business and one that they can feel comfortable trusting.

I seriously regret buying my vehicle from this dealership…read more Within just a few weeks of driving it off the lot, the check engine light came on. Shortly after that, the battery light started flashing. Then I found out it was already due for an oil change. This was supposedly a "fully inspected" and "ready-to-go" vehicle. Clearly, that inspection either never happened or wasn't done properly. It's incredibly frustrating to spend thousands of dollars on a vehicle, trusting that the dealership has done its due diligence, only to end up dealing with mechanical issues almost immediately. I feel completely misled. A reliable vehicle shouldn't come with warning lights and maintenance problems before you've even made your first payment. When I reached out about the issues, I was met with excuses instead of solutions. No accountability, no urgency -- just a lot of runaround. Service department diagnosis vehicles off of CARFAX! General Manager dismisses you when you're trying to explain your frustration! Buyers beware. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that actually stands behind the vehicles they sell.

I was already on the hook for ~$200 when I complained the general manager said too bad and because he didn't like my tone made me pay cash to get my truck back. I bought the truck and plow from them ~15 years ago and had them service both over the years. The lights weren't working on the plow, on an old truck and they wanted $500 to tell me what's wrong but could not guaranty that they could tell me what was wrong. I suggest that they are incompetent.

Now, about 2 months later, my Bronco broke down on the road and had to be towed. that's bad enough for a 2 year old car! But when I called them to have it towed there they told me it would be at least 2 weeks before they could even look at it! That is totally unacceptable for a returning customer in my opinion! I will never go back, and suggest that you consider options before you go there. one thing for certain, I will not be buying the F150 that I am planning on from them!

Schurman Motor Company is the used car division of North Country Ford, and that's primarily who…read morethis review is about. I'd been searching for this one particular car for quite awhile and was adamant about buying it from a dealership because I'd always had bad luck with used car dealers. When I saw the exact car for sale at Schurman and learned it's part of North Country Ford, I reached out to them. I was really nervous, not only because I am a female with a lack of automotive knowledge, but because the dealership is nearly 500 miles from my house. Talking to Mark Boisclair, however, put me at ease. He was so incredibly patient, answering all my questions and zillions of emails and phone calls promptly. He sold me the car at a great price and was trying to help me arrange transport for it. Eventually I decided it would be quicker, easier and almost the same price to fly to New Hampshire, pick up the vehicle and drive it home. Schurman picked me up at the airport (2 hours away!), worked with me on payment and even helped me with an issue that arose days after the sale. They could have blown me off at this point, but Mark was so responsive, even when I was freaking out a little. Turned about to be nothing much to worry about and still Mark was so kind in his correspondence. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would not hesitate to recommend Schurman or North Country to anyone in New England--or beyond, like me! Thank you, Mark!

Rescued by Vinny I…read morewas in a challenging situation made worse by a nearby competitor when I had the good fortune to arrive at Littleton Auto Body and discover the generosity of Vinny who single-handedly solved my problem expeditiously with skill and grace. I was on a tight schedule to cover almost 200 miles to get the car to my daughter for her camping trip when I discovered a headlight required a new bulb. I called a repair shop near Littleton Auto Body and was told they could have me on my way in 20 minutes. Instead, they sold me the bulb I needed, then told me it couldn't be replaced without removing the battery and possibly the grille, that they were fully booked so couldn't help me that day, and the best they could do was allow me to return the bulb. A Google search led me to nearby Littleton Auto Body where Vinny helped me immediately. With some vigorous contortion, Vinny was able to remove the burnt-out bulb, offered to replace it with the standard bulb he had in stock, but noted that the burned-out bulb was high intensity, which I needed. He allowed me to go back to the shop that had disappointed me and repurchase the bulb I'd returned. (The man at the repair shop insisted again that it was impossible to perform this bulb replacement without removing the battery and probably more so he was sure - erroneously -- that Vinny was replacing the wrong bulb.) As soon as I got back to Littleton Auto Body, Vinny installed the bulb. (It wasn't easy to do.) When I asked Vinny what I owed him in addition to my profound gratitude, he said we were all set and had me put my wallet away. Although I've written very few reviews, I'm delighted to write this one. Go to Littleton Auto Body. If your experience is anything like mine, you, too, will be delighted and appreciate the kindness, thoughtfulness, skill and professionalism that awaits you.
