****After ~2 additional months of correspondence, I finally had to obtain an attorney. There was additional incomplete work originally estimated at $200 that I offered to still pay if they felt it was necessary given all of the issues and hassle. They clearly felt it was still necessary and sent a bill for $227.50... It was emailed directly from the company president's personal email so this wasn't a clerical error. A 3rd party tech did the work and said the cameras are sub-standard for where they were installed and will always be a problem. As he predicted, they began failing to work within weeks. I have been using Safeguard for a couple years now with no issues from the day of initial meeting to installation and so forth with account management and service related guarantees. They went above and beyond to ensure a top of the line safe and well managed product. It is robust, end-user ease of use / customer friendly with an intuitive platform. Great account management and always there if there is anything that needs an upgrade and or any additional information or service required. Quality of service is second to none. Safeguard was provided to me by a friend who owns a multi site company who has nothing but the best to say about that group. With that said I still did due diligence in respect to looking into reviews as well as industry analysis to ensure I made the proper call on what security company to use. My company is heavily impacted by having a top of the line best in class, innovative security platform. I have a geographically dispersed company throughout the United States and If anyone is looking for the a well rounded, tech and customer oriented security company I would lead with Safeguard. I find it hard to believe that the reviews below are of any substance. Safeguard prides itself on service and ongoing support. I am proud and believe in each of the Safeguard employees. I also found a couple reviews interesting in the idea that they were treated with nothing less then professionalism. Upon my company wide install and configuration I was immediately sent a letter from the president himself who signs and gives his direct cell number. This document in short supplies the customer a service agreement that is different from other security companies. It is written and sent by the president ensuring that if there are any issues he will take over the account, answer and fix any and all concerns and or questions. So if the people below had issues with responses that they believe not to be adequate, I would hazard to guess it was a customer related issue, meaning they should have reached out to the respected escalation process. I would give a 10 star if I could and more then willing to bring anyone to a site where Safeguard installed there platform out of proof of concept. I believe and trust them with not only my company but both of my houses Safeguard had also implemented and haven't had any issues. Within their contact it has service related guarantees that are exactly what anyone would expect but they actually walk the walk and adhere to the warranties and services and they clearly built it within the contract. I interviewed today at 10:00am (1/13/21) at Safeguard. Short version: No one wore masks, and no masks visible. No social distancing. Loud rap music playing. Employee directly stated that masks were not worn here. Both interviewers extremely rude and dismissive. Full review/experience: I was buzzed in by someone not wearing a mask and not having one on his person. He led me to a very small room for the interview...two office chairs, a table, and a third chair crammed into the corner because there was no room for it next to the table. I set my things down and asked for the restroom. He led me past two other individuals- both coming within inches of me and both not wearing masks. After the bathroom I came back to see three men all within arm's reach of each other talking. No masks in sight. I sat back down, debating leaving. I could hear loud music being played in the background with lyrics including "as*", "motherf*****r", etc. Then two women, the interviewers, approached me and took me to a larger conference room. Neither woman wore a mask and they sat directly next to each other. Before the interview began, I asked, "Do you guys wear masks here?" One woman responded, quote, "Oh no. We don't do that here." When I expressed concern, she doubled down and told me they don't have to wear masks if they are in their cubicles and/or 6 feet apart. When I pointed out that she was sitting so close to her colleague and told her about the group I saw talking earlier, she shrugged her shoulders. I told them I was uncomfortable and if they don't abide by safety measures then I can't continue. I started to grab my purse, and the first woman walked out, followed by myself and then the second woman. I turned around to face them to exchange a "thank you for your time" and a goodbye. However neither woman looked at me or spoke another word to me. I awkwardly said "thank you" while their back were turned towards me. Still, neither woman acknowledged me. (This is not a large space by the way, they couldn't have been more than 10 feet away.) Side note- the owner/president's parking spot was taken. Assuming he was the one parked there, it's pretty bad to think even when the boss is around no one cares about the safety mandates. They couldn't even pretend while interviewing me? Overall I am extremely disgusted with the lack of health and safety measures, the lack of caring about these things by the staff members, and the way the interviewers treated me. If we could give them negative starts I would. Worse company to deal with. I have been paying for service not provided because we move to a new location, we called in March, May, June, July, and send email in Oct 2020 letting them know we didn't want their service after Dec 2020 when contract expired. We moved to a new location in March 2020 and had their tech transfer equipment, but they never activated the service at our new home. We have been paying for 2 yrs for a service they are not providing, they will not reimburse those payments. all they are willing to do is activate service if we sign a new contract at a new location showing new address. Some how there is a contract for another 4 yrs at are old house that we rented, but we moved in March and that contract was done in July 2020. We want them to leave us alone and verify that contrat with the old address is not valid because we move from there and we want our money back. they don't answer or call back! i did a complain in the BBB and finally we had a retai officer call us to tell us we have to sign a new contract and no refunds. not ok!! This company is definitely a NO NO! They do not want to service their equipment nor return phone calls. A 2 year contract magically turns into a 5 year. Rude service techs on the phone. Plus they keep going up on the price and that hurts. Stay clear! read more

I am giving them a one star because I do not have the opportunity to give them zero. During last weeks power outages, one of our door monitors started beeping. It has beeped incessantly. Call to the company have done nothing except raised our blood pressure. The person that we spoke to was rude and demeaning. He refused to let us speak to a supervisor. We have had issues ever since we put the service in. We will never use them again and I intend on going on social media to To tell my thousand Facebook friends how horrible this company is and to ask them to share my message. read more
