If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I purchased a $22k home theater after spending…read morealmost $8k with Global to ore wire my home in 2015. A total of over $30,000 spent with them. The install was supposed to take two days starting August 14th of 2018. Since then they have rescheduled 5 times to complete the system and we are not set for an October 9th install. I'm sure they will say "well your son was sick one day and you pushed back the install". Yes, the 5th day they were scheduled out beyond the original 2 day install was September 20th and my son got sick, I tried to call and let them know this and their on call service wouldn't even pass along the message. It took me 3 calls to get ahold of their sales person just to relay a message to save their installers a trip. Now starting from day one everything has gone wrong, they forgot materials needed, mis ordered materials, forgot they had left materials at their office or had paperwork that was different than my paperwork. They also never completed the required state of Oregon CCB paperwork to legally do the job. I have dust in multiple rooms of the home as well as have found staples in my carpet and shreds of copper wire, great when we have a 3 year old walking around! Now this morning my son wants to play a racing game and I find out they have taken it, it was probably on accident but I have never played any games in my XBOX except this one and a disc I never bought is sitting inside it. After our August 14th install date we have had no less than 6 different employees out to our house and not a one shows up with company clothing or a company marked vehicle. For a security company this is pretty crazy. I still have no security system integration or cameras hooked up and they even left the original wrapping on them sitting outside attached to my home. There is another page I could write about how horrible this installation has been and as the owner of a similar style of company I have NEVER had this terrible of service or communication from any company ever. I will now be calling another company to complete my installation as Global is incompetent in finishing a project, passing along a message, picking the right materials or keeping my house even moderately clean after the install. If you do business with Global, you have been warned!

We were having the floor of our garage resurfaced and decided to have the garage door inspected…read moreduring the process while it was empty. We had a new garage door installed about 10 years ago by another company and the Husband said it had been making a grinding noise for quite a while so we called and made an appointment for a "Winter Tune Up." Unbeknownst to us, after a thorough visual inspection for signs of wear, corrosion, loosened hardware, or improper operation, the technician claimed our garage door was not installed correctly in the first place. He commenced to apply a garage door lubricant to appropriate moving components, tighten hardware, adjust the alignment and test system balance for smooth operation. Because our garage is used as a woodturning shop -and wood dust is very bad for garage door's moving parts- he suggested a dust seal which can help prevent gears from stripping or burning out the motor. All in all, it was a quick process from our original phone call to finished appointment. Communication was excellent, as was the customer service. Will highly recommend All About Garage Doors to my neighbors and friends.

I called to get 3 pendent lights replaced. They said it would take 2.5 hours or more, which I…read moredoubted as it was fairly straightforward. The guy did it in about an hour, which is what I expected. He asked if I had anything else, and I mentioned that I'd like 2 new outlets on the other side of the wall from an existing g light switch. He said it was quick and easy since the light switches were right there. I asked about the cost and he said it would be quick and it would just be his time. The work was solid. The communication was not. I received a shockingly high bill with additional charges that had not previously been discussed. In effect charged me almost $400 to install those 2 outlets just on the other side of the same wall. No attic, crawlspace, or panel work. I emailed them asking about the high fees and extra charges, she said that was standard for them. I paid the bill and then went to leave a review. I would not have had him do the outlets had I known, and would have ended the job with the pendent lights. When I left a review reflecting this experience, they accused me of trying to convince them to do work without a permit, putting their license in jeopardy. Completely false - I only questioned the permit fees when I received the bill, as no one had mentioned it. The level of customer service, lack of communication, and vindictiveness was shocking. Would not use them again because of this.
