He did so that n front of a witness. Laying makes the contract null and void. I canceled the contract because of the fraud but SafeHaven wants me to pay over $1600. I am suing SaveHaven and ADT. Was told I would get a discount via my insurance that doesn't exist, was shown a hardware/price list that differed from the techs list (according to the tech manager this by design, attempted upselling), hardware functionality was misrepresented, and issues with install process because of a lack of communication between sales and tech departments. Between all of the discrepancies I knew I wanted out, and the salesman had told us there was a 6 month money back guarantee, so after less than a week I tried to cancel, only to be told the guarantee only applies to hardware faults. I apparently had missed my 3 day grace period to cancel (not disclosed to me by the salesman) by 24 hours, and now am locked into a 3 year contract I don't want after being sold a service that was misrepresented to me on multiple levels for less than a week. Even the techs and ADT corporate expressed complaints at this dealer culture of predatory sales tactics and lack of service. After telling me that it wasn't worth his time to fully explain the way the cancellation systems works when we were signing ("You're only a small percentage of what we deal with") the salesman Michael is now ghosting me and multiple Safe Haven customer service agents have told me to kick rocks and refuse to help/escalate.
