We had a break-in last week and the response time from Ally Home Security was so fast that the police were able to catch the intruders before they could get away. Thankfully we were not home because 2 of the 3 guys were armed. We live in a nice area of town so I didn't expect anything would ever happen but my wife was always worried about it so she talked me into getting the system. Glad we did! Here's how it went. I called them expecting some surprise charges and a pushy salesman like I got from everyone else, but instead they were very friendly and answered all of my questions, explained the different packages and options and after I decided which one to go with and was ready to give them my credit card info, the gentleman explained that they did not want anything like that from me over the phone (I liked that). He said "the way we do it is different. We schedule a time for a licensed and bonded tech to come to your home, and before he does any work he will show you the system, explain how it works, and answer any questions you have, and as long as you're happy and see that it's everything you were promised he will go ahead and install the system and the only thing you'll pay is the first month of monitoring at the time installation." I loved hearing that because everyone else I talked to was pushing for my credit card info to lock me into a decision before I even had a chance to see what I was getting or see things in writing. So I scheduled a time for installation and the tech showed up on time and did exactly what they said he would do. He showed us the system, explained everything, showed us our warranty and everything in writing, and obviously as you can guess we were very happy and told him to install the system. It took about an hour and a half for him to install it and he did a great job and was very respectful of us and our home the entire time. Sorry for the ridiculously long review but after dealing with so much crap from all the other companies this was very refreshing and by far the best buying experience we've had in a long time!

We consider Level Up Automation to be one of the worst decisions we've ever made. After 10 plus visits they couldn't get anything to work right, but they did manage to mount the TV to the wall which, looking back, was probably a big victory. The speaker's upstairs never connect. It's an absolute nightmare. A ring camera on the front of our house never connects. That's an absolute nightmare. Basically they put in built-in speakers and half of them never work and we always have connectivity issues. The biggest issue I have with this company is that they were highly inexperienced. Someone that had done this their entire life would have known how to troubleshoot these types of issues. These guys just kept coming out and nothing was ever fixed. I'm sure they might respond to this review but the bottom line is it still doesn't work and we grew tired of them coming to our house every other day. It's no exaggeration to say they're out at least 10 times. I finally went on the internet and fixed it slightly better than what they had done after wasting our time over and over again. We were able to get it to a semi-functional but it still extremely frustrating level. It got to the point where we considered a lawsuit. Save yourself a headache and have Best Buy come out and install this. I would bet a large sum of money that they could do it more efficiently and a lot more cheaply than this company could. To call this company bumbling would be an understatement. And should they respond to this review, just know we were completely patient. There comes a point after 10 plus visits where you realize that the company is so inept it's not worth your time to have them out again.

He luckily had availability to fix my leak issue and detect its origin on New Years Eve. He even charged me a very fair price (one of the lowest I've seen in Cincinnati) despite it being a holiday. Unlike many other companies in Cincinnati, he did not charge me before diagnosing the problem. Many companies in the area will charge a flat fee before doing any work and I really appreciate that this company does not do that. Ben quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything thoroughly and took the time to answer all my questions. His work was thorough and I appreciated his honesty. I definitely recommend this company and Ben for any of your plumbing needs. His company also does electrical work and home automation. Based on the quality of work I saw today, I'm sure they would do equally great work and suite your needs in these areas as well. Definitely give them a call and schedule an appointment!

Most of what he sold is works very well but there are a number of significant issues / disappointments. The biggest disappointment, though, is that he ultimately quit replying to our requests to rectify the problems. No response to text messages, email, or voicemail. We eventually gave up until we got a request for feedback over the summer. We completed the feedback, hoping they'd finally stand behind their work, but never got a response to that, either. We reluctantly contacted a competitor this week and were told that they might not be able to fix what's been done. Mistakes happen, but not standing behind your work and your word is unforgivable.
