If I could give them a negative review, I would. First, I…read morepurchased their "smart" thermostat but they could not install it. So, I had a friend install the thermostat. It seemed ok for a few days. Then I went out of town and turned off the thermostat. My uncle happened to stop by and the house was a sauna! The temperature on the thermostat just read "hot". I checked my app and the last reading was 131 degrees! It was hot enough to kill most of my plants and melt a candle. The only way to get the unit to stop running was to turn of the furnace itself. I removed the thermostat and put up my old one and NO issues since. I was not able to return the unusable thermostat. Second, I transferred by services in July 2023. However, Safe Haven failed to cancel the service at my old house. Unfortunately, I did not realize I was still paying on both properties until July 2024. I called Safe Haven and they seemed helpful, canceling the old service and indicating that they would issue a refund to ADT, then ADT would provide me the refund. Well it's been almost 7 months now and I have called ADT & Safe Haven at least 7 times. Every time I get a different story and still have no refund. Today, when I tried to call the local number said it was not valid. I have reported them to the BBB and the Ohio Attorney General. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

However, the thermostat installed has never worked (it turns out, they aren't licensed to even install it even though they DID!). Also, they did not install any of the detectors until 3 days later; when they did so, they tried to fix the thermostat which was running AC non-stop, even though it was set to heat, but didn't - it now only runs heat nonstop, even when it's set to off. In doing so, they also pulled out wires from the connection & broke a jumper chip. I went to the grocery store, & when I came back the house was 81*F! The only way to get the heat to stop running is to literally pull the thermostat off the wall. APPARENTLY YOU CAN ONLY RETURN ITEMS 3 DAYS AFTER SIGNING, not 3 BUSINESS days, & not 3 days after install!!! ADT, however, gives you 6 MONTHS! ...So even though the thermostat has NEVER WORKED & even though NONE of our detectors were installed until 3 days later, Safe Haven Security won't let us return ANYTHING!!! Customer service told us we have to have technicians fail to fix the thermostat 3 times (more that the previous 2). The manager we spoke with stonewalled us & basically said "too bad, we have clauses in our contracts that protect us & not you." No one has done anything to help us, EXCEPT ADT! They are working to help us. Safe Haven? Nada! Wish I would've known from the get-go that we were dealing with a 3rd party vendor & not ADT directly! But I DIDN'T, because the sales person said "Hi, I'm ______ with ADT!" And "we contract out our installations, but it's just how ADT does things." Like I said... 100% SHADY SCAM!!!

After 10 plus visits they couldn't get anything to work right, but they did manage to mount the TV to the wall which, looking back, was probably a big victory. The speaker's upstairs never connect. It's an absolute nightmare. A ring camera on the front of our house never connects. That's an absolute nightmare. Basically they put in built-in speakers and half of them never work and we always have connectivity issues. The biggest issue I have with this company is that they were highly inexperienced. Someone that had done this their entire life would have known how to troubleshoot these types of issues. These guys just kept coming out and nothing was ever fixed. I'm sure they might respond to this review but the bottom line is it still doesn't work and we grew tired of them coming to our house every other day. It's no exaggeration to say they're out at least 10 times. I finally went on the internet and fixed it slightly better than what they had done after wasting our time over and over again. We were able to get it to a semi-functional but it still extremely frustrating level. It got to the point where we considered a lawsuit. Save yourself a headache and have Best Buy come out and install this. I would bet a large sum of money that they could do it more efficiently and a lot more cheaply than this company could. To call this company bumbling would be an understatement. And should they respond to this review, just know we were completely patient. There comes a point after 10 plus visits where you realize that the company is so inept it's not worth your time to have them out again.

He luckily had availability to fix my leak issue and detect its origin on New Years Eve. He even charged me a very fair price (one of the lowest I've seen in Cincinnati) despite it being a holiday. Unlike many other companies in Cincinnati, he did not charge me before diagnosing the problem. Many companies in the area will charge a flat fee before doing any work and I really appreciate that this company does not do that. Ben quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything thoroughly and took the time to answer all my questions. His work was thorough and I appreciated his honesty. I definitely recommend this company and Ben for any of your plumbing needs. His company also does electrical work and home automation. Based on the quality of work I saw today, I'm sure they would do equally great work and suite your needs in these areas as well. Definitely give them a call and schedule an appointment!

Most of what he sold is works very well but there are a number of significant issues / disappointments. The biggest disappointment, though, is that he ultimately quit replying to our requests to rectify the problems. No response to text messages, email, or voicemail. We eventually gave up until we got a request for feedback over the summer. We completed the feedback, hoping they'd finally stand behind their work, but never got a response to that, either. We reluctantly contacted a competitor this week and were told that they might not be able to fix what's been done. Mistakes happen, but not standing behind your work and your word is unforgivable.
