if you allowed numbers to go into the negatives I'd rate this at least a -10! BUYERS BEWARE!! They give you false information to get into the door then before you know it, the fees are astronomical! Our installer left 1/2 way through and said he'd be back the next day to complete. We dec that day we were not interested and left several messages with our contact person, told the installer the next day and sent Email..all stating we did NOT want to proceed with installation. Our bank stopped payments from going through yet the company never returned calls, texts or emails. They just continued sending bills. When we finally reached a department that could cancel the contract (after having to be connected to several different departments) Bridgette stated she would reach out to our original 2 contacts and get back to me). When she did finally call she told me both Easton and Dillon denied receiving any cancellation from us. PURE LIES! We had prowe canceled within our allowed 3 business days (and 5 if you're a Senior Citizen) We sent her proof of all our messages and only after threatening her with reporting the company to BBB. and Attorney General for harassment, did she finally agree to cancel the contract. Once my contract is up I'm switching to Ring. If I cancel my contract I have to pay the remaining 75% which is $1400.+ They want to charge me $85+ for a service call even though the equipment is under contract. Reason I was given, because I disconnected the smoke detectors because they would not turn off after 30 mins. Now that makes them no longer under warranty! Stay away from Safe Haven! read more

This review was actually written on November 2022 but it just never posted, so here it is: I have had ADT through Safe Haven for exactly 1 year as of today and since the beginning it has been a non stop headache. The amount of times they have had to service my home because of the system is absurd. We get a security system to have a peace of mind and instead are constantly having to worry if they system is working 100%. When you call customer service you are constantly on hold waiting for a representative. You spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a system and would think you would be treated with the upmost professionalism, but most of the time they are just trying to find a way to get money out of your pocket. Would not recommend. Now that my 1 year is up with safe haven ADT my services have been transferred to ADT corporation and they are soo expensive to come service your home, $60 just to come out and what ever else they charge to repair. Absolute joke. Contract ends November 2024 and I am soo looking forward to that! read more

I agreed to have them come by to install a system. Several holes in my walls later, they couldn't find a "good place to put it." I asked them to leave and take their equipment with them. Waste of time. read more

Safe Haven saved us thousands of dollars and has provided top notch service. I'm extremely pleased with my system and the app access takes it to a whole new level. If you're a new home owner, corporate ADT will over charge you and give you very little. Safe Haven ADT will cover all your upfront cost and their monitoring rates are very reasonable. Definitely not the cheapest monthly cost but absolutely worth a little more for the fire and medical. Would highly recommend!!!! read more

I couldn't agree more with the rest of the bad reviews on here! The customer service is horrible (you'll be waiting for an answer and then it hangs up!), the equipment is cheap and is always falling, and overall it sucks! Don't use this vendor. Buyer Beware: This was my first time investing in a security system and I was not really aware of how costly the system was. Unfortunately the technician who installed the ADT system was not forthright at all or he was ill informed, but he did not tell me that there is a huge outlay of $$$ to buy the equipment - about a 1000. to be exact in addition to the monthly fee you will be paying. This might be ok if the system worked well but it doesn't. In 30 days I have already had the system burglary alarm go off about 4 times for a false alarm. There are alot better and cheaper systems out there - do the research and do not get swindled the way i did. read more

They are dishonest and manipulative. They say you have 3 days to cancel the service...but they never answer the phone. Even ADT couldn't get them on the phone. I called 20 times over 2 days waiting on hold for up to 45 minutes, at various times during the day up to 5 pm (which is supposed to be when they close). I tried all options, sales, customer service, service. I did get someone from sales to call me back once, but she refused to do anything because we already had service, she transferred me to customer where I proceeded to wait on hold for 30 min. Finally I called ADT (since they are supposed to an authorized dealer) and even ADT couldn't contact them with a direct line. DO NOT TRUST YOUR SECURITY TO THIS COMPANY!! read more

This is the worst security service vendor I have ever worked with. Their customer service sucks. Their vendors rarely answers calls or text messages despite of her stating that she is the point of contact for all ADT related issues. Safe Haven is absolutely the worst! I've had them for 2 months and I've had 3 false alarms when I wasn't home. The sensor fell off the door, the glass break went off twice, the back yard camera works when it wants to. The sales rep Diego who is in the DMV area tried to blame the glass break on dogs, saying if you have a dog they can set the glass break off. He then said the glass break is in the panel, the tech came out and installed the glass break to the wall and couldn't find the other one. I spoke with the tech manager Jerry and he couldn't care less about customers safety stating that they don't do same day service and that if an emergency happened that they aren't responsible even though the service isn't working properly. My smoke detector that I paid almost $300 for wasn't even connected to ADT, which I found out when admitting I burned something in the kitchen. Additionally my keypad has removed all of the key codes that were in the door. It's a shame that they represent ADT and install faulty equipment just to get customers. Once Diego made the sale he wasn't bothered by assisting until I was stern in that this needed to be fixed. Ive had techs out several time and still nothing has been working properly. I live in a county where you are charged for false alarms and I'm sure repeat offenders are last on their list after so many false alarms just like the boy who cried wolf. Unfortunately at this day and again police officers are shooting people in their own homes and that's the unfortunate reality that we all need to be conscious of. If you want ADT, go with ADT directly and skip Safe Haven. All of the discounts in the world isn't worth your safety or peace of mind. read more
