They have some interesting natural fabrics (i.e., bamboo) that hang really well on the garments. I also like that they have regular store hours and are open almost every day-- not always the case for other shops in Mendocino. They do ask customers to wear masks which I appreciate as COVID, RSV and the flu are in high gear this season, and they take precautions to avoid transmission to others, many of who are more vulnerable. I don't recall exactly what wasn't my style last time I visited, but Tangents is actually a cool little shop. They're located across from Harvest Market in Mendocino with plenty of street parking. The staff was very welcoming and helped check on prices of items that needed a ladder. They do charge a 3.5% fee on credit card purchases, so bring cash if you're planning on a bigger purchase. Still, the stained glass piece I bought was very well priced for its size and considering it was locally made.

I had the essential oil massage, and my body felt relaxed within the first five minutes of smelling the oil. Then her healing touch and kind demeanor were exactly what I needed to recover from all the stress in my body. What makes her special is that I could tell she has lots of compassion, which comes through in her healing touch. Our conversations were a delight, and I will definitely come back. The owner Drea greeted me and we chatted. I ended up purchasing so many great items, including my favorite pair of lounge pants that she had saved for herself but pulled them from behind the counter and sold them to me. I almost didn't accept them but I was in love with them. So much so I came back 6 months later(I primary residence TX) and purchased 4 more pairs in different colors. During this purchase I met *Brittini. She is fabulous. Helpful bright and cheerful. Even though I am only there every 3/6 months she remembers me. I recently bought a dress that I am in with.
