Valerie offers a great selection of stylish Mendocino tees and hoodies elegantly displayed on unique curvy racks at the front of the store. Each of us ended up purchasing a memento to commemorate our visit to Mendocino. We had the pleasure of meeting Alex, the owner, who shared the story of how his vision for the store came to life. The femmes bought a wide range of items and I found this blue, green and grey hat knit from Susan's hand-carded, hand-spun yarn that is naturally died. Susan's knit work is glorious. The head-wear has drawn a dozen comments from folks since I got it two weeks ago on Dec. 26, during that boxing day shopping tour. I also bought two handcrafted herbal teas that helped me fight a chest cold that struck on the drive up. We visited the store twice during our five-day stay. Stop by and be ready to be enchanted.
