I absolutely adore this Asian bakery. It's very bare bones, but proves that you don't need frills…read moreand kitsch to sell a good bakery item. Everything I've gotten from here has been a hit. It even has managed to impress friends who don't adventure too far outside of their own American culinary tastes. The sweets here are the perfect amount of sweet. The savory items also contain a perfect hint of sweetness that somehow ties it all together. I've even had a matcha (less sugar) made here and my God it was unexpectedly delicious. I usually spend about $20-ish and share my bag full of goodies with my folks. I love that you can get a lot with a little -- the dollar still stretches here! Sometimes their open hours are a bit off, as if been before during regular hours and they've been closed. I'll also add that the entrance can be confusing as Family Baking shares space or simply is owned by Rolls Village. None of this stops me from stopping by. The cherry on top is that the service is truly phenomenal. I love being greeted where I spend money, and the guy who frequently mans the cash register has such great energy. He's efficient as hell too! When I visited, he skipped through the tipping portion of the POS both times... so I'm not sure if they accept tips but I won't complain too much about that LOL. Go!!!

The place was clean and there was some tables to sit at to enjoy your baked goods too. Also don't forget to check the fridge area cause they had some delicious rolls cake!! I also got a drink here and it was some authentic tasting tea. Overall, love love love this place and will be back to get my fix of baked goods. My favorite is the cocktail bun ! I've had it from other places and the filling was scarce to none but not here !

Might've just had my life changed.. Omfg. I FINALLY stopped…read morein after eyeing this place for the longest time. I've heard amazing things, but I don't live on this side of the city. Housesitting brought me to the neighborhood, and now I might have to make the trek regularly. I bought three sourdough bagels and a brown butter coconut cookie. My blood sugar was low and I absolutely could not resist eating the cookie on my way home. Wow.. It was so chewy and delicious. Both flavors come through really nicely. On to the bagels... These are, by far, the best bagels I've had in Atlanta. Honestly, they put the chain bagel spots to shame. The interior is really open and has that beautiful sourdough tang. They're perfectly crusted on the outside and provide a nice base for a spread/schmear. I'm so so impressed. Thank you Evergreen. I'll be back.

First off--they do a few things really, really well: cheeseburgers and pastries! their breakfast…read moresandwiches, however, are shockingly bad. i tried one a few years ago and was puzzled by just how bad this item could be while other things are SO good. maybe they had an off day, i wondered--so i gave the breakfast sandwich another try today. Is this just supposed to be a hard boiled egg breakfast sandwich? i don't understand why anyone would want a rubbery, overdone egg with a greenish yolk as the star of the show. The cheese isn't melty and, in a town full of delicious biscuit offerings, i found the biscuit to be dry and stale. the evergreen breakfast sandwich continues to puzzle the hell out of me. i'll stick to Little Tart's offering from now on.
