From what I can tell, their staff is mostly adults (i.e, non-students) - I didn't see any students working during my most recent visit. But all the employees I've encountered are friendly, helpful and professional. Their prices are competitive, based on like items (items that I also saw at Rally House), and Emporium boasts products that are bit more exclusive (locally made t-shirts, VT-specific shirts, things of that variety) and unique. We told him and he just points over to the front corner, never offering to do a size check or ask any more details. He went right back to staring at his phone after answering. Whenever he spoke to us, his voice was sharp, almost commanding and he seemed to be rushing us, whereas I observed him speaking very mildly to a White male customer. After I purchased a vest for my grandson, I observed the man inspecting the dressing room that my grandson used to try on vests before he went to inspect the vest area, as though he suspected us of some kind of wrong doing. I will never spend my money there again. Suit City has definitely lost a customer.

I also picked up a few pair of Feetures socks, but they have several different brands too. I was disappointed they had few selections in Large. I found it cool that they have a 3D in sole maker. I've never seen one before. Several staff asked me for help as I browsed. I tried my shoes on with personal attention loosening the string and tying them up. I've yet to get this level of service from even my own local store at home. Checkout was smooth and I was enrolled in their rewards program. You can use the points for online purchases too! I thought the overall value of my purchase was very good. My items were quality, not cheap and I'm fine with this. Now as I travel I will look for Fleet Feet. Rally House will definitely be busy during football gamedays, so it was a relief to visit them on a chill Saturday evening (and Sunday morning). They have a big (but not too big) showroom, and they offer anything and everything you could imagine. If you can think of it (and you if you want it to display Virginia Tech), they have it. Being a huge basketball and football fan, I came in looking for clothes. When I came across their website a few weeks ago, I noticed they offered Nike gear that the other local Hokie-centric stores simply don't have. I kept a mental note of the items I was interested in and picked them up during my recent Blacksburg visit. Rally House's main entrance is actually on the second floor. This building was built on an incline (i.e., hill), so their showroom is technically downstairs. Once you've gone down the stairs, you will find a clean and organized showroom full of Virginia Tech clothing and various other items. They also offer gear for the Washington professional sports teams - Commanders, Capitals, Nationals (hmm, now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think I saw any Wizards gear). There is one wall that offers Blacksburg tourist-type clothing, which I thought was pretty cool. The staff is made up of mostly college students. They were all friendly and helpful. My purchase transaction was quick and easy. I obviously spent way more time looking, but I was comfortable throughout my visit and wasn't pressured to buy anything. Finally, their price points matched (relatively) with other local Hokie shops. Coffee Ltd., a menswear store based in Lynchburg, Virginia. The new owner has expressed his commitment to preserving the legacy and traditions of Davidsons, ensuring a seamless transition for its customers. The Roanoke store will continue to operate under the Davidsons name and will retain its current staff, brands, and personalized services. The new owner plans to introduce new opportunities for growth, such as bringing in some new brands while keeping Davidsons' established lines, and merging the websites of both stores to allow for online shopping. Currently the Men's Clothing store is having a 30% Off Sale on everything in the store, including Suites, Sport Coats, Dress and Casual Pants, Shoes, Accessories, and Sportswear. After hearing about the sale I decided to go check it out, especially to check on some Magnanni fine leather shoes that were hardly never on sale that I loved and was looking forward to purchasing.
