As you walk in you pass by a rack with wheels of clothes on sale. Inside, an orange Volkswagen Beetle full of stickers, one of the icons of the Hippy era, has been raised and standing up decorates the store in a very unique way. The floor of the place is part hardwood floor and another part is covered with pennies with heads facing up and held there with some type of acrylic. The front of the cashier counter is also pieces of broken mirrors stuck together. Over part of the pieces of mirrors there is a colorful cloth with flowers all over it and the saying: "You make the world a better place just by being in it." They now have a Hippy Salon that offers product-free dreadlock creation and maintenance, feathers, woolies, glass beads etc. Appointments are being required for this service. I highly recommend this Boutique to everyone. For starters they were watching me like a hawk when I was trying dresses on. Once I was done, I decided to be helpful and put the clothes back. After I did that, one of the workers asked me where I put the clothes. I told her I put them back, and then she proceeded to check all the pieces that I tried on. Then as I was leaving, they called me back in asking where I put the one dress because they could not find it. I walked right in and found it in 30 seconds and I felt like I knew the store better than the employee. I understand that they have a job to do and have to make sure people do not steal but I felt judged the moment I walked in. I felt like I was accused of stealing and if they are so worried about people stealing then put sensors on their clothes. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 star is because they had cute clothes.

From the day I looked into the display window of the store I was attracted by the uniqueness of their merchandise and the relaxed beauty of its style and free form. Located on Market Street, in the heart of downtown Roanoke shopping district, this downtown Roanoke boutique has a warm, inviting, and unique atmosphere, with very friendly and helpful staff and owners. As a matter of fact when I came in the store for the first time I was able to observe how well the owner and staff of the store were treating a couple of customers who were enthusiastically looking over the store's merchandise. Any of the items in the store would make a woman look gorgeous and bring out the best of her and her vibrant personality. When I introduced myself to one of the ladies working in the store, I was able to discover her artistic talent as well, since many of the jewelry items that I admired as gifts were handmade by her. Besides the beauty of each item there, what also stood out was how reasonably they were priced, immediately bringing value to your purchase. This confirming that things need not be extremely expensive to be beautiful and bring joy to your life.
