After being awarded the Triad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, I decided that it would be appropriate this year to go back to this restaurant and write a follow-up review, since my initial review was one of my reviews that contributed to me obtaining this highly esteemed Award. A few months ago, the third generation owner of Davidsons announced that Davidsons Men's Clothing, a long-standing family-owned menswear retailer established in Roanoke in 1910 will be sold to R. Coffee Ltd., a menswear store based in Lynchburg, Virginia. The new owner has expressed his commitment to preserving the legacy and traditions of Davidsons, ensuring a seamless transition for its customers. The Roanoke store will continue to operate under the Davidsons name and will retain its current staff, brands, and personalized services. The new owner plans to introduce new opportunities for growth, such as bringing in some new brands while keeping Davidsons' established lines, and merging the websites of both stores to allow for online shopping. Currently the Men's Clothing store is having a 30% Off Sale on everything in the store, including Suites, Sport Coats, Dress and Casual Pants, Shoes, Accessories, and Sportswear. After hearing about the sale I decided to go check it out, especially to check on some Magnanni fine leather shoes that were hardly never on sale that I loved and was looking forward to purchasing. Once there, Sales Associate Lydia took good care of me, finding my size of the Magnanni model shoe I liked and helping me try them on. Since they tend to run big. Size eight and a half was the perfect size for me. I took advantage of the sale which made the shoes more affordable to purchase. Lydia even gave me a Davidsons complimentary shoe horn with the shoes I ended up buying. If you're like me who like the very best in men's clothing and accessories, as well as exceptional customer service, I highly recommend this store to you.

My husband and I popped in because we saw a shirt we liked in the window and we had a wonderful experience with the owner who provided excellent recommendations and perfect customer service. We chose a couple shirts and pants and my husband really loves the items he purchased. This store is on the pricey side, but they really provide top notch service and the clothing is high quality.

I visited the Christiansburg, VA Old Navy store on November 22, 2022. I had a few online items…read morethat I needed to return. I came in around 10:00 am. The store was not busy as it was a Tuesday and the store had just opened for the day. Honestly, I chatted online with Old Navy customer service about their return policy. The rep I chatted with was not helpful and that is why I decided to try and get further help from someone in person. A few of my items were several months past the return date. Some of the items were a few weeks old. A few I had just received a few days prior. So I needed to see if I could get any money back, a store credit, or do I need to try and sell the goods to consignment. When I walked in there was a young lady (in a pink sweatshirt and black leggings with shoulder length hair) that was restocking the goodies around the registers. (I'm truly sorry I did not catch her name because she was very nice.) She was able to complete the returns for a couple of my purchases back to my original payment method. For the older things I needed to return, she said something along the lines of, 'Sorry I am unable to return these.' I asked, 'would I be able to get a store credit on any of them?' And with lightning speed she said, "I'll have to get a manager to do that." She then calls for the manager, Amanda. Amanda was super charismatic! I explained that I discussed all my returns with Customer Service and they were not helpful. Amanda empathized with my situation stating that she also has gotten stuck with items she was unable to return because the return window had already expired. She then went the extra mile and returned most of my remaining items back to the original payment. Considering this was just a few days before the holiday season would be in full swing, I needed every penny they were able to return. The kindness and wonderful customer service that these ladies showed me that day deserves a stellar review. After my chat with customer service I was about to give up on ever buying ANYTHING from Old Navy or their affiliates ever again. Now, I am so happy I decided to go into the store because I will gladly shop there again and recommend this store to friends and family. Thank you.

Talbots customer service located one in Roanoke (it turns out they had two!), so I called right away, spoke with Kathy and she shipped it to me the next day. It arrived in a couple of days and I noticed it had a little smudge of something on it. I was crushed and thought "I'll never find my sweater!". I called back, Kathy was not in but I spoke with Olivia who found the other one and shipped that to me, as well as a pre-paid package to send the other one back. So today, I followed her instructions , drove back with the Husqvarna pressure washer and a group of employees hovered around, discussing time off and when they would be leaving and told me that their computers cannot hold data/purchase information more than a few months and that Ollie's does not carry this brand. In other words, they do not have a protocol that they teach their representatives, their computers can only spit out advertisements and they consider customers liars. I hope not to go back to the Roanoke Ollie's. Lynchburg's associates are able to interact professionally and know their own policies.

I went a few miles down the road and bought a pack of 100 identical primers for $4.10. My guess is this is where they got there's. The powder was $10 higher than I've ever seen it.
