Smash burger with side of fries

The food was mind blowing. Very well seasoned, fresh and decent portions for the price. I can't believe I haven't heard of this establishment before. The restaurant has a cozy feeling and also very. Friendly workers and fast service. There's also a drive thru!

Bustling kitchen in rhythm slinging great food in little New Gretna! Well done, Boyz!

Breakfast sandwiches, cheesesteaks, hot dogs, burgers, subs and fries. Menu is that simple! Nothing simple about what they concoct on the grills though! Great service! Dining room is comfortable. Restaurant has modern pleasing decor and colors.

Randomly found this place on our drive up to north New Jersey. Amazing food and drinks, and large portions! I got the chipotle chicken sub and Cinnabon cold brew. My friend got the burger, fries, and cold brew milkshake. We'll be going back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved Sad Boyz for breakfast and lunch. Easy convenient location off of the Parkway. Fast service and quality food. Coffee was delicious. Very reasonable prices. Clean establishment. We'll certainly be back!

We randomly stopped here on our way home from AC and we are so glad we did because the food was AWESOME! We got an Oreo shake to share and once we tried it, we immediately regretted not getting two lol. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and they give good portions for a very good price! I would highly recommend this place!!

Smash burger, fries and a coke

First time here and I highly recommend it!! Super friendly staff, quick service, very clean. Great beverage selection. The Smash Burger had the perfect amount of seasoning. The fries also had really good flavor. Their Buffalo and signature sauce were the perfect combination for the fries. Definitely a must try!!

Cute and fun place to stop by for lunch if you're in the area. The almond joy cold brew tasted spot on with the candy, but is also more dessert than coffee in my opinion. The staff was kind and let me order the Pullin cheese even though it was a special monthly item from a while ago. I would definitely visit again and try their other items if I'm in the area again!

This little breakfast/lunch spot seems a little different for the area, but the food and coffee is great. The service is fast, and they offer online ordering and have a drive-up window - great for introverts like me. It would be great if they could add on espresso drinks as well, but their regular coffee is still very good! I'll be back for the burgers!

Sad Boyz is a whole vibe!!! Feel good Sunday morning breakfast or lunch that we crave all week long. They are always concocting new creative specials that never disappoint. It's a small local business that also takes pride in supporting other small businesses in the area. Every person behind the counter has their role and they do it well- it's a well oiled machine, even during the Sunday morning rush. The smashburgers are excellent, and their breakfast sandwiches on a jalapeño cheddar bagel are what dreams are made of. We tried the blueberry pie cold brew special this time around-- 10/10!! The energy is elite, bopping to Post Malone watching the cashier ring in orders while cranking out supreme cold brew creations. Definitely one of our favorite spots

So first thing you notice is the vibe ... the energy of this place just makes you feel so good. Whoever programs the music has done a great job!! Food video streaming gets you wanting to eat ... intense food images that had one of my companions nudging me saying "Dave did you see that?" 'No, I didn't because I am deciding on my food and I am trying not to dance. ' And, they are packed with folks of all ages ... yes, loud ... it's like clubbing at breakfast time! And, they have a drive through too. Oh, the service top notch but BUSY ... YOU WANNA DANCE? Feels sooooo good and that's before the coffee and food. Get some caffeine and watch out John Travolta! Oh ... food this is a restaurant review... GET THE SAUCE!!! And, DANCE ... Watching food fly by made me want that and that too ... ours were yummy!! Tap your toes ... SAUCE YES ... Perfection in a breakfast is our reward ... ok, we were already rewarded by the vibe, the visuals (Yes, I watched the food videos and also the open kitchen.), and the service. Great prices too!! They offer drive through but then you would miss the music and your opportunity to dance even if you normally sit still. What a find!!! Not far off the Garden State Parkway in case you are headed for the beaches or AC and want to get your dancing shoes on early while satisfying your hunger cravings!

Drove through Tuckerton on my way to an Eagles game. Such a cool little spot and the staff were great and friendly. I had the FML on a Kaiser roll two days in a row and it did not disappoint. On my second day I had their peppermint mocha, not over sweet which was a plus. I HIGHLY recommend stopping here if you're in the area. Thanks for the grub!

Sad Boyz was worth the hour drive. We intended to do brunch & order breakfast sandwiches but the smash burgers looked so darned good we couldn't resist. This is a cute little spot on the other side of the Pine Barrens for us. The place was busy. It's small inside but they have a drive through as well. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered 3 smash burgers with everything on it and a big pile of fries. The burgers were huge. They were fresh, hot and delicious served on a big brioche bun. One of the best burgers we have ever had. Definitely recommend this hidden gem and we will be back to try the breakfast sandwiches some time.

The Tommy Tonion, Sad Dog, Fries, Grilled Cheese and Smash burger

Went in with my brother today for the first time and the food was insane. I'm not even a huge burger guy but the smash burger was insane, the service was good and the workers were friendly will definitely be back.

The avacado was very brown once I got to it and that turned me off. The eggs were just okay. I will say the potato chunks on the bottom were nice and crispy and probably my favorite part of the dish. Not sure we'd stop again on our way through, but maybe for coffee.

We had an honest conversation and she assured me that they will be addressing the behavior and working towards preventing these kinds of issues in the future. She did not ask me to take down my previous review or make this update. All she did was take accountability for her staff, tried to get to the bottom of it, and looked to remedy the situation. This is truly an example how a business owner should behave and so kudos to you! I can tell from our interaction that she takes pride in her business and wants everyone to enjoy their time there. Although I still stand by my last review, I also want to edit my statement that I would never go back. I would give them a second try if I'm ever back in the area just based on how this situation was handled by management. Hoping that changes can be made positively in regard to service so it could match up with food/drinks and overall ambiance.

The decor was seaside diner. Ordered at our table...a large western style omelette, fluffy and full of the extras, a French Toast egg sandwich (clean plate club), a plate with a pancake, over easy eggs, home fries and toast, all cooked perfectly. I had the triple decker grilled cheese with bacon and tomato (I think it was called the Happy Waitress), so good, bacon perfect. Recommended!

The flavors were a little bland and the chicken was cut too thick, which made it less enjoyable to eat. The home fries that came with it were also disappointing -- they seemed reheated rather than freshly made, and just didn't have that crisp, flavorful kick you hope for at a breakfast spot. My friends had different dishes, but their reactions were similar -- nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We all left feeling like the food was a little underwhelming overall. The bathroom was serviceable but not especially clean, and while the service was fine, it wasn't anything that stood out as particularly attentive or warm. On the positive side, the decor was pleasant and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Honestly, that was probably the highlight of the experience for me. If Yelp allowed half-star ratings, I'd give it a 3.5 just for the vibe. All in all, Chicken & Egg isn't a bad place, but it didn't really impress. With so many options around, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't call it a total miss either -- more middle of the road.

Our group of six enjoyed dinner on a Saturday night. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Not sure if they take reservations. Our server was very pleasant. Prices are very reasonable and they have different dinner and brunch specials available on different days. We look forward to going back to try the driving range or to play pool. My partner started with the wings. He said they were crispy and delicious! He then got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were an up charge from potato chips which we thought was weird. He said the burger was very dry and only came with 2 small strips of bacon. He liked the fries. I had the Cobb salad which was one of the best Cobbs I ever had. It was loaded with chicken, blue cheese, eggs, olives, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. I almost finished it but couldn't. I forgot to take pics when we were served so I took them a bit late. Overall, a good meal and we will be returning. The place is overly decorated in my opinion but that's just me. PS: please do something about the potholes in your parking lot. I had to drive like it was an obstacle course!
