Fig and lavender infused (LI) goat cheese pizza was excellent. LI mixed drinks were very good, but the LI beer was a bit of a let down. Sour type beer is fine but lacked any lavender smell or taste. Maybe expecting too much. Advice- Use the washrooms in/by the old hotel lobby, avoid the ones on the side of building with the large Pennants saying 'restrooms.'...they are old hotel rooms with storage boxes all over. Note main food vendors by the music stage area but there are boutique vendors at one side of venue by the hotel, with the LI teas, coffees, ice cream etc. Most sell the same stuff ( teas, jams, olive oils, creams, lotions, nic-nacs, etc). Will go back again.

I'm sure a lot has been said already about HIGHLAND SPRINGS' FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS so I'll try not to bore you with a long and lengthy "this is what you can find here". I will try to give some tips though. - Come early. Yes, even before the lights turn on. This is beneficial for avoiding traffic, getting good parking spots, shorter food lines, shorter bathroom lines. - Get your food first. So you can walk off the calories. Also, because most people eat after an activity when they get hungry... and then the line will be super long. - Get whatever lavender they have. Hot cocoa, Latte... - Reserve a s'mores pit. When it's cold, it's the best. - Take pictures of everything everywhere. We consumed the following and they were GREAT! - Smoked Brisket Poutine - Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl - Lavender Latte - Lavender Hot Chocolate

The Soudough shop was Amaxing. We got the fresh cheddar and jakapeno sourdough bread. Dipped with their farm made balsamic blackberry vinegar and olive oil. So crispy on top and soft dough inside. The matcha room was so good especially the jasmine tea macha and bnb matcha latte. Pizza the sourdough crust with urugula, goat cheese ,figs . Wow . Live music was so enjoyable. The Monark band performed well. Chandelier hanging all over the trees . The cafe and food stands were all open and so many to choose from. Sourdough donuts, burgers, fried with lavender solo. Drinks their signature Lavender ice tea. Be back

We have been to 123 Farm before, and while it remains a visually stunning place, our recent…read moreSaturday visit left us feeling that the event has gotten much more expensive while losing some of its original natural charm and value. The Good: Parking Logistics: The parking lot has been moved closer to the flower fields this year, which is a massive upgrade in convenience compared to previous years. The Atmosphere & Maze: The farm decorations are beautiful, especially the purple cloths hung between the rows of large trees that catch the wind. Our kids also thoroughly enjoyed the Lavender Pallet Maze. It features a fun True/False lavender trivia game inside that kept our son engaged enough to want to do it twice. The Petting Zoo: The animals were quite active (bunnies, a Polish chicken, goats, and a very soft alpaca). It's a nice stop for kids, though parents of timid children should watch out as the little goats can be a bit pushy! The Disappointing: Over-Commercialization: There are massive lighting setups in the flower fields now. It feels like there is too much human intervention, and the lavender didn't look as healthy or vibrant as it did during our first visit. Additionally, most of the fields were already harvested and cut flat. I don't think there will be much of bloom later in the month. Food & Pricing Downgrades: We ordered the Lavender Smash Burger and Lavender Carne Asada Fries. The burger patty was overly salty and the fries lacked crispiness. Two years ago, the specialty drinks (Strawberry Lavender Lemonade and Iced Tea) came with a fresh sprig of lavender. This year, there was no garnish at all. The prices have gone up, but the experience feels stripped down. The "No Water" Policy: The farm is incredibly dry and dusty. Selling lemonade here must be an absolute goldmine because they do not provide water. When my husband went around to the stands to ask for water or extra ice cups, he was told no stand has water, and a cashier literally rolled her eyes at him. Word of advice: Bring plenty of your own water and leave it in the car! The "Free" Kids' Craft: The advertised free craft was a huge letdown. It was just basic coloring pages on postcards with zero staff guidance. The actual interactive crafts require an extra fee, which felt cheap considering the high price of admission. The nearby games were also poorly maintained--the foosball table was so old and broken that it used a ping-pong ball that the soccer men couldn't even hit. Tips for Parents: Check the daily schedule carefully before lounging around! We mistakenly thought crafts started in the evening, but weekend activities actually start at 1:00 PM. Overall, it's still a decent day trip for photos, but bring your own hydration, manage your expectations on the food, and be prepared for a very commercialized experience.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is of restaurant quality. We had tacos and the meat was so tender and the salsa was spicy but in the best way. Would highly recommend getting a photo booth for inside. It's just so much fun and a great way to capture everyone that came to celebrate you. The dessert table was so elegant with tons of options to either eat there or to take to go. The cake....oh the cake! So very beautifully decorated with matching flowers of the ceremony. The cake itself was so tender and flavorful. What is the cherry on top to this venue is that you and selected guests can actually stay! What a way to really get to connect with those who came to celebrate with you. You get to keep the party going and get quality time with your favorite people in a beautiful home. The one and only hiccup for the day was non-working toilets but it was immediately fixed and we were so happily pleased by the way the situation was handled that we would recommend this venue just on their reliability and responsibility alone. Everyone made our day feel so special by going above and beyond. This venue has amazing affiliates from catering to coordinators. If you're looking for the perfect ranch style wedding with staff and affiliates to match, this is the place for you and your beloved! Our family and friends were pleased with this venue as much as we were. Plus, our photos and videos were blessed with their one of a kind rolling hills backdrop (thank you Steve for driving us to the gorgeous view). We had such an amazing time and will never forget the care and effort the venue and staff provided us on our big day!

However that didn't happen and we weren't made aware of this until the morning of. They did bring in portable restrooms but they were located down a hill which made it hard for my guests (women in heels and elderly) to get to them. The bartending staff was also very rude and slow, and told my parents that people had to pay for soda when I paid extra to have that unlimited so they had to find me to get that fixed. The bartenders also made my guests wait in line for soda/water instead of just putting some out for people to grab. I can continue but for now I will just say that I don't recommend this venue for your wedding/event. When I got on the phone to talk to the owner she was very rude and defensive as well instead of listening to a customer who paid a lot of money for things she was promised and didn't receive. This venue is definitely not worth the money/having your special day be here!!!!
