Fig and lavender infused (LI) goat cheese pizza was excellent. LI mixed drinks were very good, but the LI beer was a bit of a let down. Sour type beer is fine but lacked any lavender smell or taste. Maybe expecting too much. Advice- Use the washrooms in/by the old hotel lobby, avoid the ones on the side of building with the large Pennants saying 'restrooms.'...they are old hotel rooms with storage boxes all over. Note main food vendors by the music stage area but there are boutique vendors at one side of venue by the hotel, with the LI teas, coffees, ice cream etc. Most sell the same stuff ( teas, jams, olive oils, creams, lotions, nic-nacs, etc). Will go back again.

First and last time I came to HIGHLAND SPRINGS RANCH AND INN, was during summer at the beginning of…read moretheir Lavender Festival almost 4 years ago. It is a lot different in winter of 2022. I'm sure a lot has been said already about HIGHLAND SPRINGS' FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS so I'll try not to bore you with a long and lengthy "this is what you can find here". I will try to give some tips though. - Come early. Yes, even before the lights turn on. This is beneficial for avoiding traffic, getting good parking spots, shorter food lines, shorter bathroom lines. - Get your food first. So you can walk off the calories. Also, because most people eat after an activity when they get hungry... and then the line will be super long. - Get whatever lavender they have. Hot cocoa, Latte... - Reserve a s'mores pit. When it's cold, it's the best. - Take pictures of everything everywhere. We consumed the following and they were GREAT! - Smoked Brisket Poutine - Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl - Lavender Latte - Lavender Hot Chocolate

I think I'd much prefer not paying for parking or for admission! I'm writing this review after attending their Mother's Day weekend preseason festivities. Parking is paid for alongside your admission ticket. It was free on Mother's Day as long as you paid for parking. It wasn't room bad, but the gravel and dirt road isn't friendly, so beware. There are plenty of things to do while at the farm. They have plenty of food and fun things for the lavender festival. The Farm itself has a hotel, sourdough area, perfume class, a matcha room, and two bars you can sit and drink in. I'm giving it the stars that I am because I'm not a fan of their food. Their drinks here are decent, but I feel as though the workers here are burnt out. It's definitely packed on every corner with a lot of people. Even when taking photos with the lavender, it's busy and a bit overwhelming. It is a lovely concept overall, and a nice experience away from the busy city.

We also got to explore the grounds and found some cool shops and the place called The Courtyard. Also got some yummy matcha in the Matcha room. A fun spot for families and kiddos to run around and explore. It's giving Bridgerton vibes.Definitley will be back soon for future events!

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is of restaurant quality. We had tacos and the meat was so tender and the salsa was spicy but in the best way. Would highly recommend getting a photo booth for inside. It's just so much fun and a great way to capture everyone that came to celebrate you. The dessert table was so elegant with tons of options to either eat there or to take to go. The cake....oh the cake! So very beautifully decorated with matching flowers of the ceremony. The cake itself was so tender and flavorful. What is the cherry on top to this venue is that you and selected guests can actually stay! What a way to really get to connect with those who came to celebrate with you. You get to keep the party going and get quality time with your favorite people in a beautiful home. Definitely adding photos so you can see what I mean ;)
