The new owner has done an incredible job upholding the legacy of KM, and has worked through the growing pains of being the new owner gracefully. We are constantly telling friends to try this studio, and I encourage anyone with kids interested in dance to give it a try! Honestly, the recent 1 star reviews seem to be fake, or from cowardly parents or former staff who don't like the new policies. It's a shame they feel the need to selfishly try to ruin the reputation of a small business-- just because it didn't work for one person, doesn't mean there aren't others there who are thriving.

The owner is very rude, will record you without your permission, and is not understanding whatsoever. And while I understand there are expectations and contracts and all, if you as a business owner don't tend to your customers, how do you expect people to bring there kids? Meant to be a nice and welcoming experience, and the owner makes it very unwelcoming for all. She will falsely accuse you for very terrible things and escalates things way too fast. Take your kids elsewhere.

She fit in seamlessly with the hip hop students, and it was clear this was the right environment for her. Her hip hop teacher, Titus, is fantastic, talented, encouraging, and great at connecting with his students while maintaining structure and professionalism. My daughter truly enjoys his class and looks forward to every session. The studio is very professional, with well-run shows and events that feel polished and thoughtfully produced. You can tell the owners are highly skilled in their craft, creating high-quality productions while fostering a supportive and positive atmosphere for the dancers. We're so happy to be part of the Premiere School of Dance community and highly recommend it to families looking for a studio that combines talent, professionalism, and heart.

They specialize in classical ballet and it is probably the best ballet school in Sacramento. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. The teachers are truly experienced and knowledgeable , with great dancing backgrounds. Last year my daughter was able to participate in the annual The Nutcracker production and I have to say I was amazed with the level of the show. The amount of work put in with preparing the dancers and the behind the scene came together to create a stunning production that I'm glad my daughter was apart of. Also what I thought is speaks a lot about the quality of teaching is that some of the students of this studio actually pursued dance career after graduation and dance now with ballet companies in the country. They came back during the winter holidays and participated in the Nutcracker production , which was very inspiring for the younger dancers. So I am giving the studio 5 stars all across the board, I wish we would have joined them much earlier!

I have been to many of the dance facilities in northern California/Bay Area, so I have a very good idea of comparable facilities. The dance floor is superior to the floor setups used in major studios and ballroom dance competitions. Since the studio's opening in early 2012, four showcases have been produced at the CDC with each showcase having a unique blend of local professionals and talented amateur dancers as well as professionals from NV, the Bay Area, and Southern California, and NJ. If you get to a CDC Dance Showcase or a major holiday dance event (e.g. Xmas or New Year eve dance party), you're in for a treat. Bill and Bobbi Roth, the studio owners, are the ultimate hosts. Oh - most importantly I almost forgot to mention that the studio has some of the finest dance instructors. This year one of the instructors and two of the amateurs from the studio were finalists in the U.S. Nationals Ballroom Dance Competitions with one of the amateurs finishing in 1st place. The best part for me is that sometimes I get to dance with them but always learning from them.
