History
Established in 2006.
The pursuit of belly dance excellence began for Julia in 2004, though her interest had already been lingering for several years. Longing to transport audiences into a long-forgotten world of beauty and mystique, she sought out intensive performance training to better understand Middle Eastern dance, music and culture. Julia has been a popular staple of the Sacramento belly dance community since professionally debuting in 2006 and constantly seeks new and inspiring ways to expand her art form.
A bright force and true "raq star" among belly dancers, her natural showmanship and dynamic artistry put Julia in the media spotlight, including a much-seen profile in the Sacramento News & Review and appearances at many popular events such as the Sacramento World Music & Dance Festival and the California State Fair.
