Check-in upon arrival for the class. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The class seems always full as I observed the class before mine and the classes around my class. In short: this place is pretty hip and popular, good flow of people. For my hip hop class: it was around 40 people (mixed gender and ages). During hip hop class: the instructor was explaining step by step and section by section, to make it easy to everyone. What I like was he also rotated the class: so if you were at the back, you will be on the side or at the front at some point of the class. The class ended with full choreography, then students were encouraged to perform by groups and cheered by everyone. In overall, good vibe and community with great instructors. Katie's Saturday morning pointe/prepointe is a wonderful workout benefiting greatly from Katie's academic and expereicntial credentials. It is very strengthening also for students not yet on pointe due to all the footwork and relevés, as well as laser focus on correct placement.
