I've only been on staff for 1 year, and my philosophy is that we must always strive to improve - thus my 4-star rating. The Dynamic Dancing class offerings are expanding this year to include more classes for all ages. Our programs for Adults and Seniors include: Stretch & Strength, Creative Movement, Ballet Basics, Belly Dancing, Jazz and a Dance Aerobic program called "Get UP and Dance!" With our 4-person staff we're also offering more of the fundamental classes for children and teens (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop), as well as Dance Exploration and Creative Movement. All of our classes are held at the Woodland Community Center which is responsible for registering and collecting payments. We're working hard with WCC staff to improve and simplify these processes. I signed up for Tina's dance fitness and was so happy that I did. She was on time, organized and friendly. The class is fun and not too hard but it kept my heart rate up. She also teaches Tai Chi which I just joined as well. If you go to her website, you'll see the list of all the classes offered. She also has private classes. You must sign up at WCC for Tai Chi and Dance classes held there. I highly recommend Tina. Let's get moving!

It has various dance classes: k-pop, hip hop, jazz, ballet, etc. They also have youth lessons, and doing performances, studio rental. It has separate building for students lounge which has small gym, sofa, mini bar (honor system). If you are new student, there is special classes package discount!! Check-in upon arrival for the class. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The class seems always full as I observed the class before mine and the classes around my class. In short: this place is pretty hip and popular, good flow of people. For my hip hop class: it was around 40 people (mixed gender and ages). During hip hop class: the instructor was explaining step by step and section by section, to make it easy to everyone. What I like was he also rotated the class: so if you were at the back, you will be on the side or at the front at some point of the class. The class ended with full choreography, then students were encouraged to perform by groups and cheered by everyone. In overall, good vibe and community with great instructors. The choreography was fun, high-energy, and musical, and the instructor did a great job breaking things down while keeping the vibe encouraging and supportive. I left feeling proud of myself, energized, and excited to keep coming back. The next girl, I love your beautiful blue eyes. The next girl, you always try your best.i smiled as she went one by one to each girl lifting them up. She got to my daughter (the only brown child) who was new and just there for a week. She crunches down in my child's face & in front of everyone says with a frown, "you need to smile more! " and walks off. No words of encouragement at all that she gave to all the other girls. My daughter dropped her chin so sad & discouraged& my heart sunk! Countless other things happened while we were there including April always coming to me with sarcasm saying, "God! You're so pretty. I just hate you".
