I complained to the front desk at the salon and asked for a partial refund, as my stylist was pleasant though didn't fulfill my request, and I am still waiting for a call back from the salon owner more than 24 hours later. I called this morning and the front desk said that they are still waiting for the owner - even though she said she'd call me first thing in the morning. It is now 5pm and still nothing. I will never go to this salon again.

I saw the owner offering more than hair services to her clients . It's one thing to offer talent , but when your customer service and natural love for people is added it's an experience that anyone would pay for . My massage specialist Tia was excellent, very intentional and awesome personality. I will be booking her once a month now . Her respect for the owner and how she runs her business speaks volume. I shared with her that it was the owner that made me book the appointment. As an entrepreneur myself I know what it takes to run a successful business and it's not always easy . It takes prayer, God guidance and a team that share your vision . I'm thankful for Studio Chique being a wellness place to women and men to be poured into not just in beauty but also in spirit . Also, it's paid street parking. Unfortunately, my experience with my stylist, Whitney, was extremely disappointing. From the start, she was unwelcoming and came across as rude. During my appointment, she repeatedly spoke loudly over me to other stylists, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. There was little effort to make me feel comfortable or valued as a client. What stood out most was her demeanor throughout the service. Her tone and communication regarding my hair process and results were not only unhelpful, but also came across as condescending. A salon experience should feel relaxing and collaborative, this was the opposite. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking with her, unless you're in the mood to want to get physically aggressive. While the salon has a great look, the service I received did not match the standard I expected.

Now my length is completely gone. I'm sure the stylist thought that I needed a haircut instead of a trim, but I wish she would've consulted with me first instead of making that decision for me. not only did she cut my hair, but she also charged me for a haircut so I ended up spending more than originally discussed. Now I have to start my hair journey all over again. by far the worst experience in a salon.

I had been coming here for many months to do my roots without issue. I've always told the colorists…read morethat I like my natural hair and don't like to do anything to my hair that requires high maintenance since I'm very busy. After the root coloring turned my overall hair appearance much darker than my natural hair color over time, I asked for a low maintenance coloring style that could bring my hair back closer to its natural color, and for which I would need to do no up keep except keep coloring my roots. The colorist did a set of highlights on my hair that turned random strands of hair throughout my entire head ORANGE and completely damaged my hair. After I complained I had to return to get a gloss/toner. That did not solve the issue and my hair was back to orange immediately, so I had to contact the salon yet again and asked for a solution. For the first time, the colorist (a different one) told me the orange appearance will continue to come back unless I keep doing glossing or do an expensive full head single color appointment, which I was shocked to hear as that was exactly what I asked NOT to happen to my hair (and my time). They also said I should pay for a haircut. I asked the salon for an appointment for the full single color so someone could provide a more permanent solution to the issue. The salon refused to make that a complimentary visit. They also sent me a one-liner email saying I shouldn't come back. I don't typically write reviews and I am not pleased to write this as to a place that had otherwise been my regular salon for a basic root touch up. But there was serious miscommunication at every turn, rudeness by the owner for no good reason, and an unwillingness to actually pay to fix the situation for a loyal customer whose hair they destroyed on a permanent basis. Do not come here for any highlight related work.

She explained the process, took a before picture of my gray roots, and found my correct color. She recorded it in the computer, so that I can go to any location in the future. While she applied the color, I sat in the cool little gown to protect my clothes. Once she was done, she made me tea and I read a magazine while I was waiting. She finished with a wash, and an explanation of the blow dryer bar, which had free product to use, brushes, and a blow dryer. I finished my hair, and Tiara took an after picture of my roots. This was the most fantastic hair coloring experience that I have ever had! Thank you, Tiara! Highly Recommend!

His wealth of experience from another country coupled with experience now in the USA, make him a "hair whisperer." I've been going to him for about 20 years. I followed him when he changed salons. When I made a mistake of going elsewhere few times , Necip always had to fix the damage. He knows current trends, and I trust him with my hair. I will close my eyes during haircut and open them after blow-dry to see the magic. I immediately love the woman i see in the mirror. He is very kind, listens to you but will advise against a look that will not look the best on you. He cares about how the client looks and the way they will look after. He also cares about the health of your hair suggesting, a haircut when ends are damaged. I would be lost without him. Finally, everyone at the salon is very nice.

There are just two stylists in that salon that are good Grace and Necip, but because of the receptionist behaviour they are loosing their customers. Why would you go to a salon with such an awful environment, not worth it for the price you pay. Not to mention I wanted highlights and ended up with a very dark colored hair with no highlights.
