Red Snapper Sushi

I tried the omakase for 2 / date night set! We shared 5 courses - sunomono (cucumber salad), spicy tuna crispy rice, truffle carpaccio, a selection of nigiri sushi, and one specialty roll. This set also comes with drinks and we upgraded ours to their specialty cocktails - ube and lychee martinis. It's in prime location in the heart of West Hollywood, making it a great starting place for the night. It was nice having a set menu with items we would've ordered any way. Service was great and each course felt fairly spaced out.

We came on a very hot night- the AC if it was on, was broken. Eating raw fish when it's almost 100 degrees is a bad idea...the service was fine, and the food was good. I would say nothing out of the ordinary.

We did the Sachi Date Night Set tonight and honestly, this was such a fun experience for the price! $95 for two people in LA felt really reasonable, especially with the amount of food we got. Since I don't drink, we swapped the sake/beer for the yuzu sodas, which were so delicious. We started with edamame and the tuna crispy rice which always slaps. We then got the seared salmon carpaccio with truffle. That salmon literally melted in my mouth. SO good. Then we had nigiri- ahi tuna, salmon, halibut, and yellowtail, and everything was fresh and delicious. But the most fun part was finishing with the fish on fire! We actually had to blow out the flame before getting to the sushi inside, and it was 10/10. I finished with the strawberry and matcha mochi, which was the perfect little sweet ending. Overall, really enjoyed our date night here. Great variety, fun presentation, and a pretty great value for an omakase dinner in LA. Definitely would come back!

Had a great date night at Sachi Sushi in West Hollywood! We ordered the $95 Date Night Omakase for 2, which came with a great variety of dishes to share. Everything was fresh, delicious, and really good quality. We also upgraded our drinks to the Lychee Martini and Ube Cloud, and both were so yummy! Loved being able to try a little bit of everything. Definitely a great spot for sushi date night!

genuinely an incredible experience! got the $95 date night omakase and it is SUCH a good deal for two people! perfect amount of food and the bites were all delicious. the fish is SO fresh. there was not a single thing we didn't like. everything also came out super fast!

Me and my friend got the Sachi Date Night Set and it was really delicious. Each piece on the menu was handcrafted with care and the flavor profiles were really robust. The sake was also exquisite. Service was great!

This is a cute little sushi restaurant in West Hollywood, next to nail salons and novelty stores. The parking is meter, however there is neighborhood parking towards the back of the restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff (Caden) is extremely friendly! Whenever I have lunch here, He remembers my name and order....(That's talent) overall the vibe is casual and festive. A must try!

Absolutely love the sushi red & red roll yuzi cocktail.Count on my return . Friendly Service .

I ordered the to go orders but I didn't expect these things. The chirashi bowl looks like a poke bowl that costs $28 and the chicken teriyaki costs me $23 with this portion!!!

Always a great atmosphere and great food. They have an outside patio which is a pet friendly zone and they have a pet menu as well. We bought salmon bowl for our puppy and he loved it.

I forget the name but the fattiest tuna! Melts in mouth, a must try

Nice little sushi spot in West Hollywood. Stopped by on a night out and was not disappointed. Good atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Felt very homey and warm. Nigiri combo 10pc was amazing. Short and sweet all the fish was premium quality and the rice to fish ratio was perfect. They have an amazing selection of premium tuna as well and it was all so so good. I've been to some Michelin star sushi spots but this may have been the best sushi I've ever had! If you love sushi then do yourself a favor and stop by, it's pricey but worth every penny!

Definitely a good spot for a date night. I was craving some yakitori, so we ordered a bunch of different ones including Negima, Gizzard, Tsukune, Wings, Chicken Thigh, Liver, Hearts, and Cartilage. All the yakitori was cooked to order and everything came out really good. We also had the Hokkaido Scallops & Sweet Shrimp Crudo, which was delicious. For sushi, I ordered some nigiri including Scallop, Salmon Belly, Bluefin Toro, and Kanpachi, plus the King Tuna Roll. I have to say everything tasted pretty good. I honestly came in thinking it was going to be just okay, but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up really enjoying everything we ordered. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice and intimate. I'd definitely come back, especially for the yakitori. Great little spot for a date night if you're around The Grove.

Interesting experience to say the least…read more Came on a Saturday night off the whim and was seated right away. There's indoor and outdoor. Outdoor consists of the sidewalk & a sectioned off patio section. I liked the dark ambiance, it felt very romantic. The lighting was very intimate. A waitress came, got our drink orders and we ordered the duck breast as an appetizer. We got our drinks, which the tall glass is very misleading as I felt like I barely sipped anything and it was GONE, lol. I ordered the watermelon drink and it was tasty, I just wanted watermelon water anyways. It came with a watermelon slice which was nice. After the drinks we were WAITING idk how long until a different waitress came and took our order ?? We put in our entree, received them & never got our appetizer. We were waiting a long time for someone else to come by. I ordered the seared kanpachi jalapeño roll, which 10/10!! it was flavorful, had the spice & felt fresh. I didn't have to add anything like soy sauce to it. I just eat all my sushi with ginger and it paired great with it. Finally someone showed up & we said we ordered a duck breast appetizer with the first waitress, which was never put in. So the second waitress went ahead and put it in. The duck breast has an interesting texture. I can't explain it. I did not like the texture. The flavor was fine but the texture really threw me off personally. Kind of reminded me of pâté cat food, it felt like how paté cat food looks if that makes sense. Texture wise. Overall, service was trash. The waitresses were both unfriendly, but I guess that's just LA customer service nowadays. We waited forever. Spent more time waiting rather than eating. Valet or street metered parking. Restrooms in the back, 2 single unisex stalls.

Outstanding Service, Great Food, and Fantastic Hospitality!…read more Dining at Koi on La Cienega is always a treat, but this visit truly stood out because of the top-tier management and staff. A huge thank you to the manager on duty, who handled a situation with other disruptive guests so smoothly and attentively. He went out of his way to relocate us to a better available area so we could fully enjoy our dinner without missing a beat--that level of care and hospitality deeply appreciated! Beyond the stellar management, the food and drinks were absolute perfection: * Sashimi & Appetizers: The yellowtail jalapeño and seared albacore carpaccio were exceptionally fresh, dressed with rich ponzu sauces and delicate toppings. The shishito peppers and avocado dishes were incredible starters as well. * Craft Cocktails: The signature martini garnished with a fresh orchid flower was bright, balanced, and perfectly crafted. * Dessert: We ended the meal with their warm crêpes topped with caramelized apples, candied pecans, and vanilla ice cream--it was decadent, delicious, and beautifully presented. The beautiful ambiance, high-quality sushi, and above-and-beyond hospitality make Koi a classic La Cienega staple.

The place was quiet on a Friday after 1:00, and we were able to park right in front and grab a table in a mostly empty restaurant. The space was pleasant, small and homey, with art on the walls. Service was fast and super friendly. Our server was helpful and sweet with Wade, who behaved himself, mostly because he was occupied with udon. He got a plain kid's udon, just the noodles and soup, and he slurped it right up. It came with a side salad of mixed greens with fried onion in a gingery Japanese dressing. He didn't touch it, but I thought it was quite tasty. I got the mentai combo, a $25 lunch special with a small bowl of mentaiko udon and choice of beef or spicy tuna bowl. The udon was delicious, slippery and chewy in a creamy, slightly spicy mentaiko broth, finished with more mentaiko and kizami nori. I opted for the spicy tuna bowl, and this hit the spot, a heap of spicy tuna over rice, served with soy sauce. Blanca got the deluxe curry udon, a massive bowl of udon in curry broth with chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, poached egg, and cheese. I tried some, and it was really good. Kochi isn't just an udon place. There are lots of homestyle Japanese dishes on the menu, as well as sushi. Udon does seem to be the specialty, though, and it's what I'd go back for, especially if I'm hanging with Wade.

The room is cozy without being sleepy, which is exactly what you want at the end of a long night. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous enough to make the prices feel almost unreasonable. * Large Sashimi with Uni (for two): Every piece of fish was fresh. The uni was sweet and creamy, and it did not last long. * House-Cured Grilled Mackerel: The cure gives it real depth. Crisp skin, rich and juicy inside.
