This restaurant had only been open 40 days in its current location. From the very beginning we were greeted graciously by a young lady in typical dress, escorting us into the beautifully decorated lobby. We were seated in the beautiful main area. Perusing the menu, the manager came over to introduce himself and describe the specialties of the house. We decided upon the lechon and cochinita pibil, and the seafood soup and shrimp ceviche. All were amazing, perfectly seasoned and tender. But the coup de grace was the tableside preparation of the guacamole, the absolute best I have ever had, and the fresh spicy sauce also prepared table side. The entire staff made us feel welcome, smiling and thanking us as we left. This was the real deal, non touristy and fabulous food and service. read more
