On this list is Saturday Mass of course, catching up with her friends on the new stuff from the Yankee up in the big city, and dinner/lunch out at favorite spots. Schlotzky's doesn't count as something we enjoyed back when I was a kid hangin' about, fishing and shooting off my .22 pistol at cans. But since Schlotzky's closed up and moved out of Grand Rapids, this has been adopted in the Fort Smith visit to Grandma's routine. Why? Cause Schlotzky's is the only 5 star sandwich experience around, in my humble opinion. Schlotzky's gets it right with their own bread, their own sauce, signature combinations of flavors, offerings, and condiments. All that and nostalgia to boot. Now that I'm in San Diego, I have seen a Schlotzky's and am very interested in showing Sarah what a 5 star chain sandwich experience is like. Oh, and you can't forget the soups! The soups here! Oye!

When I inquired why they didn't tell me that when I ordered, no response. Then they bring me 2 whole strawberries and state it's all they have, one was rotten to the core. I then inquired about my missing bread sticks and was told it only comes with the salad if you request them. That's not stated on the menu and at this point one would think they would just give them to me or offer them. The trashcan were overflowing and the bathroom toilet paper holder seriously falls off on you when you pull it out. Soap, nope none in the bathroom and let's not talk about the floors.
