If it had not been for iExit, we never would have known this awesome hidden gem was here. Every interstate traveler ought to have the iExit app. At first, it felt like the mothership had cloaked itself because we drove around for a bit and couldn't find it. Then we discovered the landing zone: Bryce's food truck is parked right in front of the Tacklebox Tackle and Bait building, just about 3/10 of a mile off Exit 11 on I-540 / US-71. Honestly, Zero Street is the perfect location name for the Mothership, which has just returned home. Bryce, the owner, told us he came out of the IT profession and has been building this business for the last couple of years, and it shows. The whole alien theme is fantastic, right down to the little black pager that lets the aliens signal when your food is ready. I ordered the Apollo Burger, swapping the American cheese for provolone, and it was outstanding. The UFO-shaped bun is such a creative touch and fits the whole mothership theme perfectly. The burger was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. The garlic fries absolutely lived up to the hype too. Bryce mentioned they are popular throughout the area, and after trying them, it is easy to understand why.
