While in Fort Smith for the day we wanted to try this place because of their reviews. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean. The staff are very efficient at getting people seated and orders taken. We started with the green papaya salad which was pretty good. I would have liked it a little more spicy and more peanut. The meat was excellent. I then had the Steamed Rice with Chicken and egg roll. The egg roll was the best I have ever had, I am not a fan of egg rolls. The rice was very good but the chicken was way over cooked. I believe my wife had the combination flat noodle bowl and absolutely loved it. Price was fair and service was excellent. read more

Needed some vegetable comfort food and the GP did a bang up job. Ordered the tofu with mixed veggie and fried rice and same thing for the second dish but with glass noodles instead of FR. restaurant was COVID safe in all respects. The only restaurant with vegan options that were opened late. I ordered the grilled pork chop rice plate. Hubby ordered the grilled pork with vermicelli and my daughter had the vegan tofu with vermicelli. The portion is very generous. I loved that my pork chop and my husband's grilled pork were both charcoal grilled. However, they were both a little salty. On the other hand, our fish sauce were heavily diluted that it tasted almost like water. May be to balance out the over seasoned meat ?? I prefer both to be balanced. The veggies were fresh. We also ordered an order of spring rolls and there was no meat. The food tasted ok but I wonder about the cleanliness of the place. The waiters were slipping and sliding all over the place. Surprising no one took a spill while we were there. They have a few authentic items on the menu that you normally don't see in other Americanized Vietnamese restaurants like. bánh xèo or sizzling crepes and bun bò Huế. A plus for that. We were just passing through town so this was a one time visit. Can't vouch for the authenticity or taste of those dishes. Since it is the only vietnamese restaurant in town, I would come back to satisfy my cravings. I wouldn't if I have other choices. read more

Today July 1st 2022 I ordered take out took it to my aunt who sent me this pic I called and told the front desk I ask for extra vegetable not no veggies on my meal she ask if I ate it. I responded I gave it to my aunt who working in the hospital and is starting to eat it she offered me a new one. My wife asked that I take her to this restaurant for her birthday lunch. As we walked in the server said, "Sit in the corner both." I was surprised by this lack of courtesy but we sat in the booth as directed. The same server asked if what we wanted to drink and for our order in a curt manner that seemed to be agitated. My wife and I placed our orders using basic manners with please and thank you as polite people do. Not once did receive a "You're welcome" or any indication that we were anything but a burden in this nearly empty restaurant. When the server left my wife and I discussed the crude manner of the server. We decided to cancel our order and leave. When I told the server we were leaving because of her lack of manners, she claimed she did not hear us. Then she said, ironically, that I was being rude. This indicated that she knew the difference between being rude and polite. While I admit to being neither happy nor friendly, I was not rude. She followed this with going in and out of the kitchen loudly discussing how rude I was. The final utterance that was to the effect of "Maybe you are so rude because you are a RACIST." I am a Caucasian man. Her ethnic heritage while not Caucasian, was neither known by me, nor do I care. Yet she felt comfortable hurling an accusation of racism to cover her complete lack of customer service skill and basic manners. I asked to speak to a manager. They claimed no manager was there. I asked to contact a manager they said they were not able nor would they give me contact info. We then went to La Fiesta in Alma, AR where the amazing servers of Latin American descent have impeccable manners. Update to my review - (added a star) Manager called me after the incident. EXTREMELY nice guy who understood the situation. He promised to talk to the server about customer service skills. I probably won't go back. However, he seemed like a great guy trying to run a business in a world where nobody wants to work. read more

I've been here several times. Each time the experience was just a bit more negative than the time before. Last night was just not good. Only one server for the entire dining room. When she finally got to me, I had to ask for the complete menu. I ordered my appetizer and entree. My entree came out befor my appetizer. I explained I no longer wanted it since my entr was here. An older woman came out of the kitchen, and let me know she has only one server. Not my fault! I asked if they knew what an appetizer was?? I had to wait a while for my drink to be refilled. It was finally. The cashier was great, and let me have my drink for free. now, as I said, this was just the most recent experience I have had. The entree was mushy, not what it should be. If this is the only place in town for good Asian cuisine, I will be eating more Mexican! read more

The broth was super tasty and the meats were plentiful. Loved it!! My daughter ordered the mixed grill fried rice (number 24). She said it was really tasty and had lots of meats and shrimp throughout. The server was quick and polite. He packed my left over pho for me to take home. Only one caution, the drinks are served as individual cans of soda with a glass of ice. If you are used to endless refills, you would do better to order tea or just water. read more

Our first visit here, after hearing about it from friends and seeing a full parking lot as we passed a few weeks ago. We started with shrimp spring rolls, which were large, super fresh, and delicious with the peanut sauce they were served with. Gone too soon. We each had a vermicelli bowl; hers was chicken, mine the grilled pork. These came pretty quickly, beautifully plated and were large servings. We were hungry, so we skipped the chopsticks that were offered and picked up our forks. The key to a good bun bowl for me is freshness of greens and vegetables and perfectly cooked vermicelli, and this meal delivered. My pork was perfectly grilled, and the sauce was brilliant. The little bit of fresh mint really set it off. My bowl was empty when we left. A near perfect lunch of fresh flavors, and our service was attentive but not intrusive. Excellent overall experience. Items mislabeled and not prepared correct when called to correct issue was told I would be charged which seemed wrong since it was a mess up on their part but at the same moment "boss" told staff while on the phone nope they would charge me twice what was quoted. So 2/3 menu items not able to be consumed so $28 down the drain . Will not return. Also their bubble tea is fruit jelly not real tapioca pearls and the tu cannot blend their teas. Go to Asian Kitchen Express or Pho Hoang. Even the pho place in the mall is pretty legit! read more

Waited an hour and 30 minutes for all of our table to get our food, half of our table was fed in an hour. While the other half had to watch. My pho was probably the worst I've ever had, the meatballs were chewy- whereas they're supposed to be soft and easy to eat. And I wasn't given any of my veggies -like my bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños. The waitress just stared at us when we asked questions, so I asked another waitress for my veggies to complete my pho. The steak with the number 31 was good though. All spring rolls were good as well. read more
