The menu has lots of sushi and sashimi choices and many other main courses like teriyaki, tempura, pibimpab and so on. I decided do try the pibimpab which was very nice and freshly made with lots of vegetable, beef and a nice chili sauce. It also came with a miso soup and a small bowl of kimchi. I enjoyed my meal and the service was also great. I am told it's packed during lunch with people who work in the area. It's just outside the Lysaker train station. A good place for a meal which I am sure I will come to again.

We started with the spring rolls and wontons for entre. These are tasty morsels. Fresh and clean. The salad includes a real bite from chili oil but we all love a bit of heat...ikke sant. My daughter enjoyed the kimchi pancakes and as she is vegetarian, it's nice to find a place that is not too expensive with genuine vegetarian items that are also really tasty. And if you a desert person...ginger infused creme brulé is not to be missed. As we live in the area, sort of, we'll definitely be back to enjoy this lovely blend of Japanese and Korean cusine. And at Lysaker stasjon??? Who'd av thunk it?

Honestly, I thought this place might be overhyped, but it totally lived up to the buzz. Such a perfect spot for a quick bite! The atmosphere was just chef's kiss and made for the best start to our Mexico City trip and foodie adventure for the night. This place has truly stood the test of time over the last three years, and I highly recommend checking it out! 10/10 RECOMMEND THE LYCHEE MARTINI WOW ITS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD

It was a tough decision! There were too many interesting options. The Red Sheng turned out to be a solid choice. My friend ordered the Lychee-Chee but they brought her the Chili-ling. We didn't realize it until the end of the meal. We mentioned it and they brought her the right drink at the end. She knew something was wrong when the drink was spicy and that's not something she would have ordered. For the food, the dumplings came out first. There were two of each type: green, red, orange and black. They explained each one and we had to make choices among us about who wanted to eat what. We also got the scallops, which I think are hard to mess up. They were delicious. The Hakka Noodles were a highlight. The fried rice was underwhelming. The night we were there, they had a live DJ right next to our table which we found pleasant. The music wasn't too loud and set the mood. For a large group, the wait staff was very patient and helpful.

The staff seemed shy/unexperienced/tired. They served us aperitifs and then took away our drink menu and never offered us wine with our meal, which we thought was a bit weird. Secondly, there wasn't much enthusiasm with the staff, they seemed like robots, systematically placing food on our table, and very brief and soft spoken description about what we were eating. Maybe it's because it's Christmas season, but still... I never had an experience like this at Sudøst or Dinner and those places are equally as busy all year round.

The service was exeptionally friendly and attentive. We started off with two sashimi dishes - salmon with grapefruit and ponzu sauce was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the tun tartare with coriander cream on wonton crackers was so good that we had to order another serving of it. After the sashimi, we had two types of maki - the tempura lobster maki, and the spicy tuna. Both were delicious and quite rich, with a generous amount of very nice spicy mayo. The spicy tuna maki was made with tarragon and avocado, which was a very nice and aromatic combo. Tatakii could have had more wines by the glass, but the ones the have are very good. Alongside the food, we had a lovely glass of riesling from the Pfalz region, which worked very well.
