Anbefales!

Cute little outdoor place, where you can sit, absolutely enjoyable now in the summer. You get your sushi really fast as well, about 5 minutes is average. Everytime I'm here it tastes the same (important factor, hate hate hate when it tastes different from time to time). I really like Philadelphia Maki (salmon, avocado, philadelphia). Note the fact that I've also been at Sushi House at Alexander Kiellands, and it doesn't taste the same. This one is miles better. Yeah, I've been here a couple of.. like.. dozen times.

I ordered a "Lunch box" with an 18 pieces combination of sushi and sashimi. The quality of the fish was good and the plate looked pretty, though the rice tasted very plain. It felt like a very ordinary sushi in a fancy package. There was no other fish than salmon included in neither the sushi nor the sashimi , which felt a bit boring. I have no idea why, since I saw other people having larger varieties of fish on their plates. For the price of 210 kr, it felt like they could have been a bit more generous. And then there was one more thing: they do not serve tap water. In a country with free clean water in our pipes (actually of higher quality than much bottled water), while other parts of the world are drying up, and while pollution from our industries and waste is a major problem - there's nothing fancy about only serving bottled water, it's only ridiculous. Sorry Jonathan, but all in all this leads me to not feeling very keen about enjoy your sushi again.

Though, my first impression was that it looked like a really small portion for the price (at least when you are not eating the rice). The pieces are no big sashimi chunks, but the same size as you would get on a nigiri. And then there was the ponzu sauce. I'm really no fan of ponzu sauce with sashimi to begin with (and would have asked for soy instead if I known in time what was included) but this one was really not good, very sweet and with a synthetic feel - reminding me more of a cheap sallad dressing than anything else. Not at all what I'm looking for with a fresh sashimi. Except from the sauce, the sashimi tasted good. The fish was fresh and the the portion (although small) was filling. All and all: this is a good place for a weekday dinner - but stay away from the ponzu sauce, and you'll probably get more value for your money with a sushi.
