Of course not. In my experience, both Jessica and Dr Davis have helped me with my disability forms with no problems. I have had numerous illnesses in the past, and I still struggle with them. When I have concerns , or questions I am able to receive the help fairly easily. I am fortunate that I have had a long history with them so perhaps, this may make a difference. Nevertheless, I believe without my doctors, nurses and staff members I feel I would have never survived without their support and assistance. I am grateful for their care and always will be.

I used to see Dr. Castellanos when I was a kid with my mom, roughly between the ages of…read more12-15(2004-2007). Now as an adult I've realized how horrendous of a doctor he was. Our family eventually stopped seeing him after 3 years of being under his care. We went to him because it was hard to find doctors who spoke Spanish in our area at the time. I'll start with the worst. My mom used to be really concerned for her health. Over time we realized her concerns were signs of what she's now developed, diverticulitis and other digestive issues. She often came in with pain and explained her concerns. Dr. Castellanos would tell my mom that she was fine and to take ibuprofen. Any time she came in it was the same thing even though her symptoms progressed - continue to take ibuprofen. Eventually she told my mom she was too worried and was a bother. We finally stopped going to see him when she used the restroom and found blood in her stool. She developed ulcers in her throat and stomach that were very painful when eating. After we stopped going to see him we found out all of her symptoms were the beginning of diverticulitis. In 2009 she ended up going to the ER because she was heavily bleeding when she used the bathroom. A diverticula had burst open and it was discovered she has 3 total that had developed. She was taken to emergency surgery. She's suffered through diverticulitis ever since with multiple ER visits. Dr. Castellanos was negligent as a doctor when presented with symptoms. He could have referred her to a gastroenterologist but never did. We had HMO at the time and eventually switched to PPO but it was after dealing with him. For my own case, I developed gastro issues around 12 and realized I had sensitivity to certain foods that lead to a lot of gas and odd noises in my intestines. I felt shy about it as a kid but was worried because I didn't want to sit in class having those noises come from my intestines because well... it was awkward. My side of the classroom could hear my gas issues and I didn't understand what was causing it. When I told him he blew me off and told me to eat more fiber. I didn't bother more about it or ask because I was too ashamed to ask more. Years later I realized I had food sensitivities and that I need to be careful to avoid dairy. All of this to say - I would absolutely NEVER recommend anyone to see Dr Castallanos. My mom could have sued him for negligence but decided not to. Seeing him still in practice now and talking to family about health made me 20 years later have to go back to write this.

I have had to change the referral several times due to some issues with the specialty office I chose but these ladies have done the utmost to help me receive the care I require. My only regret is that I forgot their names but I have dealt with at least two different ladies and they were both so helpful, respectful, and professional.

It's hard to get referrals as well because it seems like the doctor works with insurance company and does not want to help, especially if you have an HMO. I strongly suggest you consider other options for medical care if you want reliable and active care.

Dr. Baker did it on my first visit and it helped resolve some of my issues. You know you're at a good office when even the staff is happy & seem to love the doctor. Bedside manner from him and his staff is great. During your exam, Dr. Baker is focused on you & you wellbeing. Opening up the floor always for questions or to express concern. The only drawback is that receiving an appointment can be a hassle as he's popular and gets booked out. Upside to that is that you can always see one of his great PAs on staff.

He speaks to me like I am an actual person, and doesn't just spit out medical jargon for five minutes and leave the room. He has always been proactive in referring me for lab work, imaging, specialist treatment, you name it. He has also gone above and beyond to assist me during a difficult time when I was on disability. His staff is very helpful and his office manager Shanon has been an absolute angel. I've never had medical staff be so accommodating to my needs. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, I have been kicked onto a different insurance and can no longer see him. My new insurance is subpar, and I have spent the last six months trying to find a decently rated PCP who can schedule me in for an appointment without a 3-6 month wait or doesn't push me off onto their physician's assistant or student doctor for care. I actually feel a little worried for my health because I cannot access proper care these days. It makes me realize that I had it really good with Dr. Pevsner and his staff. If I could afford to pay cash to continue seeing him, I would. I wholeheartedly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for decent care. You will be in good hands.
