He saved my life! I had surgery with another doctor and was released from the hospital with an antibiotic resistant infection where only IV antibiotic would work. I am writing on behalf of my mother as she does not have a Yelp account. I am my mother's advocate when it comes to her healthcare. I attend all her appointments with her as moral support. And it was me who suggested that she try Dr. Mehta's office to treat her health needs. From the initial meeting, Dr. Mehta appeared kind. He listened to my mom's health concerns. He ordered her a series of tests, including bloodwork, all of which we got done. However, her most recent appointment last week (2/1/23) left a sour taste in our mouths. She had concerns regarding her blood pressure and had questions about the treatment plan he had in mind for her osteoporosis. Rather than listening patiently to her worries, he dismissed our questions and appeared very irritable and reacted impatiently. In fact, he was already walking towards the door as I was asking him a question. We have every right to ask the appropriate questions relating to our health and bodies. We ultimately make the decision as to what we want injected in our bodies, right? My mother and I were in shock as to this kind of behavior from a DOCTOR, a primary care PROVIDER whose mission is to treat all his patients with "respect and high-quality individual care" so that they can "live well and feel their best." Well, my mother and I certainly did not feel our best coming out of that appointment where Dr. Mehta seemed more concerned with rushing off to his next appointment. He also FAILED to prescribe her the blood pressure med she needs, even though he said during our appointment she could take this alternative medication with her other BP meds. When we arrived at her pharmacy two days after the doctor's visit, they said there was no medication there for her. When we reached out to Dr. Mehta's office, the receptionist said there was no record of the doctor prescribing her BP meds. The doctor even called and said he was confused as to what she needed. Oh, that's because he was in a hurry, did NOT listen, and clearly FAILED to document on her medical chart the medication that HE himself suggested she take (with her Losartan BP med every morning). This was truly disheartening. We even emailed Dr. Mehta directly to follow up on this confusion. NO RESPONSE whatsoever. Save yourself the troubles and find yourself a healthcare provider who sincerely cares about your health, respects your time -- after all, you pay insurance for medical coverage for these visits -- and has the professional courtesy to answer your questions without making you feel like crap. There are a ton of doctors out there. I heavily regret finding Krunal J. Mehta in Glendora and taking my mother here. What a disappointing and disingenuous practice. Lastly, the two long-haired female receptionists need to learn customer service skills. Their lack of people skills both in-person and over the phone is sorely disenchanting. They hardly smile. Their cold demeanor is almost robotic. And I have been to many doctor's offices over the years. The ladies here lack the warmth and personality to deal with vulnerable people on a daily basis. read more

I just retired in January of 2023 and began looking for a new Advantage Care PCP. My Dr of 30 years at the OPTUM group does not contract with certain quality specialists that I want so I was forced into looking for the new PCP. I researched Dr. Mehta's practice after looking at several others. I reached out to Cheryl the office manager several times with questions and she patiently answered all my q's. Dr. Mehta is kind, soft spoken and very attentative to all my visit needs. Jessica who is one of the office clerks has placed all my prescriptions and follows up very well.
