THE WORST! I am traumatized after the experience I had with this contractor! He had no online…read morepresence when I hired him to remodel my bathroom in November of 2021. My "remodel" was "completed" May 2022. And I am still dealing with the repercussions of his awful work today. Most recently the cartridge he installed started leaking. He gave me an old assembly after saying his supplier, build.com, never sent him the one he ordered for me. The one I spent hours picking out. We had wanted a separate nozzle mounted lower in the shower- through the wall-for dog washing. (Not like a hose that attaches to the shower head.) He never re-did the plumbing to accomodate this so he was not planning on doing it all along. The handle in the shower was not centered. My sink was not centered. The P-trap was never relocated to sit under the sink. It had to be macguivered to drain properly. The tile work is crooked. The grout lines are as wide as my big toe in places. The shower pan was leaking immediately. So much so that mushrooms started to grow out of 2 different areas a few months later. Water barrier was not used on the walls behind the tiles. During demolition the support beams were damaged. I paid an inspector come to check underneath twice for damage and leaks. Both were present. The subfloor should have been replaced & was not. The toilet fixture was cracked by the workers while trying to install it. I had to get a whole new one. They mounted the seat crooked. The faucet was loose & shaky after 2 weeks. His incompetent workers broke all of my beautiful slate tiles, when I complained they were not laid flat. They chiseled the edge of each one to get them semi-flush. I later had another bathroom done with the exact same tile & grout & the results are night & day. Grout was cracking 2 weeks after they left. Missing grout. Paint on my tiles. I was talking to him daily about things that were not right. he had an excuse for everything. Sometimes his workers would only come 1 day each week. ZERO STARS!

Autumn helped to arrange all appointments and confirming all questions. She was also very patient when I switched bathrooms and Bob (the salesman) had to come out a 2nd time to measure! The Bella's Bubbles tub is fantastic and seems to definitely help my pain level!  Even though a bit expensive, was totally worth it as I have MS and the tub has helped reduce my pain levels so much! After much research I have discovered that Fox Valley should have brought the tub assembled after…read morechecking for leaks. They assembled in my home i am having leaking and flooding. To those considering a walk-in tub. Do not use Fox Valley Home Services. The plumbing has to be removed and re-installed so it can be assembled properly. I thought the problem was caulking. After having the entire tub recaulked, the flooding returned. Turns out the pipes and connections are leaking, have been for a while. The bathroom floor and downstairs ceiling all have to be replaced. The air jets are also leaking. Poor installation to say the least. Can't wait to read how FFHS justifies this problem.
