When we…read moremet with the owner, he was super professional and knowledgeable, and I still stand by that. He suggested some easier and inexpensive fixes for some venting issues in our home. The work was done quickly and without issue. They also replaced a corroded Y joint in our main plumbing stack. It was done quickly, efficiently, and inexpensively. No issues there. Where things went sideways was when we had an issue with our main drain line. We had sewage backing up in our basement and lots of sewer gas, which was concerning. Other plumbers who weren't the owner were sent to our house and snaked the line. They had to come back 4 times because they didnt scope the line first as they should have to identify the true issue. Each time they came back, they also made a huge mess, tracking the sewage through my house. If I only had to deal with this one time because they fixed it the first time, it probably wouldn't have been as annoying, but this combined that they repeatedly had to come back because they didn't take the time to properly identify the issue FIRST and then do what they needed to was upsetting. Furthermore, Amy, the person who handles the phones is extremely unprofessional and really doesnt understand the concept of being in a customer service position. She was audibly annoyed with me when we were waiting to pay our invoice until the issue was fully resolved. She is blunt, rude, and just not what I would expect from a company that is so highly rated. You may be able to have a very good experience with this company, but the inconsistency in service is an issue that the owner should look into to improve his company. I would also make sure you push for more communication about what is being tested and the scope of work completed as they were lacking in this regard as well.

Towlson responded quickly, and resolved the issue efficiently and affordably saving us a ton of headaches in the process. We have had them run preventative maintenance on the HVAC system a couple of times in the last five years. Let me start by saying that most people don't want to call a plumber, including myself. We recently…read moreended up in a situation with a severely clogged drain in the basement. My wife and I tried whatever we could do to unclog it, and just couldn't figure out why. We ended up calling around and trying to get general estimates. Depending on the task at hand, Bruce gave us the most reasonable quote and we decided to go with him. He was very responsive online and available the same day. Some of the plumbers had given us dates that were well into the following week, and almost twice the price. When Bruce arrived, he made sure he kept the work area clean, worked on our sink, and after we found out that the job needed was worse than we had initially thought, he encouraged me to look around in case I didn't want to go with him. The new project included sawing off the existing galvanized pipe to the laundry sink, which was severely clogged with corrosion and sediments, and having it replaced with PVC pipe she is replacement. We decided to go with him for the new job and he completed it quickly, with quality products, and at a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend using this company for any house related tasks including plumbing.
