My wife and I tried whatever we could do to unclog it, and just couldn't figure out why. We ended up calling around and trying to get general estimates. Depending on the task at hand, Bruce gave us the most reasonable quote and we decided to go with him. He was very responsive online and available the same day. Some of the plumbers had given us dates that were well into the following week, and almost twice the price. When Bruce arrived, he made sure he kept the work area clean, worked on our sink, and after we found out that the job needed was worse than we had initially thought, he encouraged me to look around in case I didn't want to go with him. The new project included sawing off the existing galvanized pipe to the laundry sink, which was severely clogged with corrosion and sediments, and having it replaced with PVC pipe she is replacement. We decided to go with him for the new job and he completed it quickly, with quality products, and at a very reasonable rate. Towlson responded quickly, and resolved the issue efficiently and affordably saving us a ton of headaches in the process. We have had them run preventative maintenance on the HVAC system a couple of times in the last five years. They've been able to keep our aged AC compressor running efficiently, saving us thousands in repair and replacement costs in the process. When we had a concern about the dehumidifying unit, they came out, made adjustments and corrected a potential issue quickly and cost effectively. I have paid $12,000 into this system, and for almost two years now they have had to come out every month or two to try to fix it. Nothing they do actually fixes it. The unit keeps throwing an error code that kills our hot water completely, and every "repair" is just a reset of the same countdown to the next failure. It is not for lack of trying things. NYSEG even upgraded my gas meter, and the pipe fittings were upsized on the recommendation of the NYSEG gas guy. Still nothing. The problem is exactly the same as it ever was. Now the warranty is about to expire in February, and I have been waiting THREE MONTHS for warranty replacement parts with no straight answer from anyone about when -- or if -- this will ever actually be fixed. The office staff can't or won't give me a clear answer about anything: not a timeline, not a plan, not even a callback that means something. I am tired of paying for a premium system that doesn't work, tired of taking time off for repair visits that fix nothing, and tired of being strung along while the warranty clock runs out. If you are thinking about having these people install a tankless system in your home, don't. I need this fixed now, and instead I'm writing this review because apparently that's what it takes to be heard.
