He keeps the work area organized while he is working and always cleans up completely before he leaves. Vladimir is also very reliable, which can be hard to find these days. I loved how Robert and Ana's response to my Yelp request read and their scheduling calendar was easy to use. They kept me updated about my appointment, right up to the day of the work when they notified me that Robert could come early. That worked fine for me. Robert was at my house as agreed and he looked at my problem, told me what he suggested doing and how much it would cost. It was very reasonable and I agreed on the spot. I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with this handyman was…read moredisappointing from start to finish. Our first correspondence began in January, and although he was unable to accommodate us until March, we were understanding and willing to wait. Initially, he quoted us for three separate projects. While the pricing seemed high, we still decided to move forward and schedule the work. One of the projects involved plumbing concerns, which became more urgent, so we decided to have our regular plumber handle that portion separately. I reached back out to revise the scope of work down to only two projects. Surprisingly, the updated quote for two projects ended up being more expensive than the original quote for all three. When I questioned the pricing, I was told the original pricing was only lower because the work had been "bundled." A few days before the scheduled appointment, I asked whether it would be possible to push the work back by one day due to a busy client schedule at our business. He declined and instead suggested an entirely different date that worked better for him, which delayed the project even further from the original timeline. We agreed in an effort to remain flexible. He later requested a deposit, which was understandable. However, because this was for our business, I requested a detailed written quote and W-9 form so our accounting department could properly process payment. Despite multiple requests, he was unable to provide the documentation needed, and communication became increasingly delayed and inconsistent. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable moving forward and decided to cancel the project. His response afterward was extremely unprofessional, to the point where I ultimately blocked further communication. We ended up hiring another handyman who completed the same work professionally and for nearly 50% less than his quoted pricing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this handyman to other business owners looking for professionalism, transparency, and reliable communication.

He also retrofitted windows in several rooms, which made a noticeable difference right away. What stands out most is how much he cares. As a homeowner, and now a landlord, I no longer panic when the renters call to report a leak - I know mark will find it fast. Watching him work is like watching magic. He's the best diagnostician! His prices are beyond fair. And the job gets done the right way. Mark has repaired many things for me over the 3 years since I first found him: several leaks, assembled and hung some intricate office shelves, installed a cat enclosure in the basement to accommodate the litter box, and installed a new garbage disposal, among many other projects, too many to name. The cat enclosure is amazing. He designed this tunnel for the cats to walk through, attached to a kitty door, and the litter box mess is not in the house while also not outside! The cats love it and so do the people. The tunnel has a quick release for cleaning the inside of the enclosure. Pure genius!
